Please do not rent from Enterprise at the Tallahassee, FL W. Tennessee St location or Enterprise at all. I reserved a rental car 1 week in advance. On the night before we were to pick up our rental car at 8 PM I received a call from Tariq saying that my reservation was going to be canceled because they had no vehicles available. Mind you we reserved this car a week in advance. I then asked, could you get another car from one of your other locations? I was told they couldn't do that, I would have to call myself, but that he would be glad to transfer me. Tariq then tried to transfer me. I was transferred to roadside assistance instead. I then proceeded to locate the number for the rental car location at Tallahassee airport and called them. The airport location made a reservation for the same location where I was just canceled. I asked how they could book another reservation for the same location that just canceled me. I was booked again with the Airport location at a higher rate. I explained that the rate needs to be the same as what I had originally since this was no fault of my own they canceled that reservation and rebooked again at the W. Tennessee St. location still at the higher price. I called Registration yet again and was told that they were not able to adjust the price I would have to be transferred to Customer Service. I then spoke with Customer Service and was rebooked yet again at the higher rate after three or four calls back-and-forth, and the last time I was transferred to Customer Service the office was closed. I called "Reservations" again I told them that the customer service office was closed. I was told I could go into the Tallahassee Tennessee Street location when I picked up my car and ask them if they would be able to give me the original price. Well, the next morning at 7 AM I received another call from the W. Tennessee St. location telling me they had to cancel this reservation. I did call the office manager Marissa after the final cancellation She stated to me "There is nothing I can do and I can't just make a car appear ." I still have yet to receive a callback from the escalation department where I left a complaint. read more

I tried showing up at 8:30AM and they couldn't get me in until the afternoon when I had to be at work. I made a reservation for the next day 9AM. The lobby was full and I was waiting 30 min. When they finally pulled the car up, it was not the car I selected online. It was a much smaller car and was only $1 dollar cheaper per day. I also didn't have great service. I had employees telling me I could get a discount if I brought my claim number but when I came the next day they said I had to make a reservation through AllState. When I was looking at this car that I didn't ask for and trying to understand pricing, the employee mentioned how many people they had waiting even though it was my turn to be helped. Worst Customer Service EVER! We are loyal Enterprise customers, we use Enterprise for work trips all over the USA. However, the one time we come by to rent a vehicle because our truck is in for service, this location told us that it would be over 2 1/2 hours to get any kind of vehicle and that we would have to wait there. They have about 100 vehicles i. Their parking lot just sitting there, it's not busy or near an airport. The young girl who "helped" us suggested that we "reserve a car online" instead of waiting over 2 1/2 hours seemed like a great solution. We reserved a car with the ability to have ready in 10 minutes. Once booked, they told us that it will still be 2 1/2 hours wait. So disappointed! FYI, they had about 100 cars/vehicles on their lot sitting there. We contacted another Enterprise location that said they have rental car's available that is a 17 minute drive away. So we changed our reservation to that location only for them to call as we got in a LYFT to head in their direction to tell us they have NO vehicles available at all after we confirmed they had vehicles ready to rent at their location and they knew we were on our way. read more

If I could give the Tallahassee Enterprise located at 1485 Blountstown Highway ZERO STARS I WOULD. I booked a car at this location for 5:00 pm last week, however when I arrived at 5:04 pm the Enterprise employee walked up to the door as I was entering and told me they were CLOSED. I explained to her that my appointment to pick the car up was for this time however, she REPEATED they were CLOSED. There were other customers both inside and outside of the building at the time, with MULTIPLE employees inside standing at the counter. As she began to lock the door in my face, she let 2 other customers who were standing outside when I arrived, inside the building. The most troubling thing was, BEFORE SHE LOCKED THE DOOR IN MY FACE, she turned around and asked a MANAGER what she should do and the MANAGER TOLD HER basically not to let me in. Needless to say, I was left STRANDED, WITHOUT A CAR even though I had a VALID RESERVATION, just before the Christmas holiday!!! read more

I feel like a rating of 2 stars is GENEROUS. Got a rental car through insurance and what a nightmare my experience has been. The whole time I had my rental I was harassed by the workers blowing up my phone with rude attitudes about bringing my car back when I have a policy with gieco that allowed me to have the rental in the first place. Highly unprofessional team. They charge WHATEVER THEY WANT. No explanation on price breakdowns. My rental was supposed to be 27$ a day which is what I signed up for. But I would get 300 dollar chargers a week and sometimes more. What a nightmare. Never going through enterprise again and save yourself the trouble don't do it either. No worker could explain to me why I get charged hundreds of dollars a week when they have weekly fees already set. read more

Well, this is the second time I've used enterprise (the first time was at a different location in town.) Absolutely terrible service. Both times I was picked up at the collision center over an hour late (despite having a set pickup time for a week and calling earlier in the day to confirm said appointment) and wasn't even greeted with an apology or any recognition at all. Look, I don't need to be treated like a princess but DAMN. They have no respect for their customers. This location in particular had a line of about a dozen people and the associates at the front desk just could NOT have cared less. They're rude. They're late. I walked in without a reservation, requesting a specific make and model of car, and they got it done in a matter of minutes without a single complaint. Had to take off a star because they seemed to have a lot of trainees and staff in the office, yet most were in the back, so the line of customers moved quite slowly. I agree that most businesses are doing what they can to get through Covid, however, My girlfriend has a car currently rented from Enterprise. It took an hour for us to get the car because it was being cleaned, we got called liars by enterprise, and the vehicle they provided apparently has transmission problems because when my girlfriend pulled out in traffic and presses the accelerator pedal, the engine revved but the car wouldn't go, which caused all kinds of problems at 7:50 in the morning. She pulled over for a few minutes and the car would drive again so she went the few miles to work. I call enterprise to get the vehicle exchanged for a safe vehicle and all of Enterprise of Tallahassee does not have a car for her to drive. This has been a miserable experience so far and just got worse. I mentioned they were cleaning the vehicle is why we had to wait for an hour and it wasn't clean and had some trash in the floor. read more

Every year it seems like the same thing. We placed reservations to pick up mini vans for a trip and they are not ready. Even though the vans were reserved well in advance and we were given pick up times and the vans still were not ready. They told us the vans were not even at the facility. The kicker is they told us that our vans which were scheduled to be picked up @ 8:00 am would not be ready until at least after 1:00 pm. That is not first class service that is a bunch of bull crap and it always happens. The guy at the counter offered us a pickup truck in place of a seven passenger van, a real piece of work for sure. read more

Overall, the service is super slow, but they do eventually get the job done and take care of you. I was sent to this location while my car was in the shop getting repaired. They picked me up and dropped me off, got me into a nice vehicle, and handled the return well. The biggest issue is that, even though they have a long front desk with many consoles, no one is ever there! You have to wait and wait for someone to even see you, before you handle the business of the rental. The staff members that do end up helping are friendly, but the speed of service here really needs to be improved. read more

I can never go to this location and have a vehicle ready. They are always overbooked and crowded. I usually wait for over 1hr for a vehicle after I have one reserved. Twice my vehicle wasn't cleaned. I recommend before going to this location make sure they have your vehicle ready and remember who you spoke with. I turned in my car today and spoke with the manager Jen, she was just as amazing as she was the first time she helped me over the phone. She did everything that she could to change how I felt about renting a car again and it worked. She pulled out all of her cards and made sure that I was satisfied. She personally inspected the car and was able to confirm the smell that was so bad. She had excellent customer service and I will be going back. I hope my next experience is just as good! Enterprise has left my son and daughter in law stranded in Jacksonville. On I75 on their way home in an enterprise car that is not due to go back to enterprise until tomorrow, a semi truck lost a wheel and that wheel hit the car my son was driving, damaging the front end. Trying to do the right thing, he took the car to the nearest Enterprise after filing a police report. Enterprise took the car from him and would not let him take another without paying another $500. They left him stranded 160 miles from home. We have problems with Enterprise EVERY time we try to use them. In a town this size there are not many options so we are usually stuck with them. Would chose another company if possible. I am giving zero stars. Would give less if I could. read more

Everything is gone. They took my Blazer and some other stuff. The people from this location is terrible. They just took my stuff. They said they will look who kept and I called them couple of times and went once but no one respond very well. People are terrible here. I will never ever suggest to rent the car from this location. I have a very old car, so every time I leave town it's very important for me to rent a car, since my car would most definately not make it to Miami. I have been to multiple Enterprise locations in Tallahassee and this is BY FAR the worse place to book from. It was bad before I even got my car. I ordered my car to be ready at 1:00 pm. I showed up at 12:45. What time did I get my car? 5 PM.... And then I told them that I needed to go to work at 3 pm and all they asked was "can you come back on your break?" As if I wasn't inconvenienced enough. When I go to the one on Mahan they ALWAYS upgrade my car if it's not ready. On top of that, I got a really dirty car that literally had roaches in t and smelled like smoke. When I returned the car I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get charged for the smoke smell and the guy asked "did you speak to someone about it?" No I did not because they took so long to have a car ready that I made them bring it to my work because I literally had no way to get there. I was overall dissatisfied and will go out of my way to avoid this place and tell my friends not to go here. The service here sucks and on top of it I got a car that looked like my crappy 2005 Corolla. No thanks, but next time I'll save my money and drive my own car home. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. The Mahan location is 10 times better, and definately worth the drive. read more

I have always rented from Avis, but since the State of Florida changed to Enterprise I decided to give them a try. I rented from the Blountstown Highway/Tennessee Street location. What a big mistake!! I reserved a van for pick up at 9:00 am on Nov. 25, 2015. Arrived a little before 9 and when I opened the door it was packed. They were very processing the customer's paperwork and then walking them out to the vehicles while we waited and waited. Needless to say I waited for over an hour to get my van which turned out to be dirty/nasty on the inside and outside. We had to wipe it down before we could leave on our trip. A coworker had warned me about Enterprise but I tried them anyway. I have told family, friends and coworkers stay away from Enterprise on Blountstown Highway in Tallahassee! Next time I will go back to AVIS or rent from Enterprise at the airport.... read more

Worst experience I have ever had at an Enterprise location. The facility was understaffed and it was evident while waiting my turn to pick up my vehicle that the staff present was either new on the job or badly informed of the policies and procedures. I constantly heard complaints by customers about misinformation of their reservation. The car assigned to me would not lock and it was unclean. I have had numerous problems with my rental experience including, but not limited to, waiting 5 hours for a car, getting a car with an expired tag, being told there were no cars to exchange my car for, systems being down, and unclean cars.
