This review has been LONG overdue. I have been renting with enterprise since I lived in Corona.( location on 6th st) Everyone there was very helpful and always provided excellent customer service. Jenny (Or Jinny, I am not too sure on spelling) was one of the ones who stood out by providing above and beyond service. I recently moved to Temecula and sold some old cars so I've been needing to rent periodically again. LET ME TELL YOU! This location is incredible! I've been in sales/customer service for almost 10 years now, and I can absolutely appreciate when someone or a group of people provide excellent customer service. This location is the embodiment of world class service. Here are a few names that I can recall. Ben, Chris, Jenny ( glad she switched locations because she is great), and Cameron. I KNOW there are a few others which I cant remember right now, but they have also gone out of the way to make sure every client in that store is satisfied. Including a very nice lady with blonde hair who dresses sharp. There are some angry people out there, that live in an angry house, drive an angry car, wear angry clothes and unfortunately exude their anger onto everyone else, everywhere they go. I've been in this location when one of those angry people came in. I saw Cameron handle the situation in such a tactful and professional way that I was blown away. Before I left, he had already calmed the person down, and even made them smile. (albeit and angry smile at that) All that being said, you fine people at Enterprise should know that you have a well oiled machine in Temecula. I've been to this Enterprise location twice when two different cars were recalled and the car companies covered a rental. Reviews seem very mixed...one of the reasons may be the service can differ from one day to the next, depending how crazy busy it gets. When there are a lot of customers and they have issues and are upset, the fuses of the employees get a bit shorter. It is a very small office so you pretty much hear everything everyone says. Based on the several employees I have dealt with, 99% are nice people and decent at what they do. Today one of the female employees snapped at me rudely when I was being perfectly courteous, which was wrong even if she was having a bad day. She misunderstood my situation and failed to listen to what I was saying. However, the key thing is that it is one of the ONLY car rental agencies in town, so you're pretty much stuck and don't have much choice. Hopefully you'll get there during a quiet time and not when there's a line out the door. PS - if you get a chance, check first that your car doesn't smell of cigarettes from previous customers before leaving. read more

So far not so good. My husband got rear ended and we had to get a car here, they gave my husband a car that smelled DISGUSTING, terribly drenched in cigarette smoke. He went to exchange the car, got into the new one, drove off, within 5 minutes drove back because he realized he forgot his sunglasses in the car. Now the entire staff is saying "oh no we never saw them" riiiiight. I don't believe it for a second. Terrible business practice, disgustingly unprofessional. Worst experience I've ever had! I had called yesterday and reserved a suburban for the weekend. Was given my price was told yes no problem the car will be ready for you to pick up in the morning. .I will never use Enterprise again. The manager Richard was very rude and could care less about our situation. We really needed a car and they went out of their way to lose our business forever. I called Greenleaf rent a car and they picked me up in the Enterprise parking lot and rented me two cars for much less than enterprise with no hassles or problems. I greatly appreciated the fact that they took the time to reach out to me, but I now know that Enterprise is not only an untrustworthy company, but they have poor customer service, and ultimately do not care about their customers. Car wasn't ready to pick up even though text said it was. Had to wait 15 min to be helped as employee was telling customer all about how a lady actually rented a Porsche from them and how excited he was! Other employees sitting not helping Was told my car was in maintenance and would take at least 1hour to get back. As I sit here they seem to tell every customer their car isn't quite ready. What is the point of reservation? Wasn't offered any discounts or upgrades for inconvenience. Only when I said to cancel reservation did they call to get another car. From the second I walked in they made me sure they were ready to help, despite being busy. I needed a larger car and they were quick to tend to my need. After having the car for just one day and upon return they kept asking how they did and if there was absolutely anything else they could have done to make my experience better. Have had the unfortunate problem of having car problems on a newer vehicle multiple times. However, Drew over here at Enterprise is great. He is excellent at customer service and very accommodating . I can honestly say he is great at what he does. People who are stand outs in customer service like this really ought to be recognized and rewarded. Horrible service and people in general. I was stranded in Temecula because the rental that enterprise provided me had issues. They would not trade me out for another car of the same size vehicle. Claiming that they were all reserved. I went to three different locations nearby. Also calling to the one on Jefferson to act like I was renting a car, and they said they had one. But when I told them my issue, and that I needed a car cause the one enterprise gave me is having issues, they changed their story and claimed they were mistaken and said they did not have a car of the same size. (Suv). I called another location nearby, I believe it was in Murrieta, which was the biggest enterprise near Temecula, located on Madison. and out of all the cars they had, and keep in mind there's like 10 passenger vans sitting in the lot, parked along the road. And they were ALL reserved as well. So all they had was a shitty ass truck, old Nissan four door truck. So we had no choice. We had to to take it. It was our only ride home. I had a newborn and four adults including me. Including a suv loaded with travel luggage. And that truck is not made for baby's. On top of that's it was sprinkling so we were wet. I had to load up the truck, drove to us closest Walmart, bought some tarps and rope, covered up and tied everything down and just went home. Never will I rent from enterprise again. They failed to correct my situation. Didn't really care we were stranded. And would've let us walk away with no car. Because they rather keep those cars for a new paying customer, because they already got my money. There is just too many other rental companies out there that'll take care of you and have more compassion towards your fellow man in need. Especially with a newborn hungry and 6 hours away from home. When our transmission unexpectedly went out they were there with a great price and quick pick up! When the work needed to be extended and we needed the rental an additional week the office was friendly and helpful! Enterprised saved the day. Due to Hertz Temecula incompetence, I had to cancel a reservation (they didn't have my reservation available/ overbooked). Enterprise was able to provide a last minute reservation with the vehicle I needed. They made the process easy and fast considering I was in urgent need of the rental for a few days. Lucky to even get this. Worse service in the world. Charged my card on numerous occasions for no reason what so ever. I'm not one to complain, really I'm not, but this is unsat. Never had problems with any of the other locations but for some reason it was just this one. Rented a car at the airport and had a delightful experience , I almost always usually do. Now when returning my vehicle in Temecula was" helped " by Gabe who's customer service was more than lacking. He told me to leave and refuel my car never offered me the refuel option - I later would have done that . Then tells me to take my car seat out of the car because that wasn't the car we would be using I asked why he then looked at what type of car and stated he guess he could use that one. I leave to refuel gas that was right next door - I also asked if we could do this on our way out since I was in a rush for my daughters birthday dinner . His attitude was so stand offish and did even after he disappeared never asked if I needed help or had been helped . I can say the assistant manager drew was quick to try to make things right but at this point gabe has tarnished the relationship and corporate account I have . Selection is minimal. Reserved a large sized truck. When I arrived, had to wait for an associate to go to another enterprise to grab one. Truck that was given to me had a quarter tank of gas. Why not provide the customer with a vehicle that has a full tank? Maybe I'm being picky, but this is an inconvenience to the customer that could easily be avoided. I had made reservation couple of days ago. Reservation was for today. I had got a email confirming my reservation for today a day before. I callled 20 min before getting to my destination. Nobody told me that I was not goin to be able to get the car I reserved for.Discrimination was a big play on this role. Once I arrived I gave out all my info. The girl in the front said "I'll go get the keys for you". So it took her 3 minutes to look for a mustang Key. She called the young man who was in the front with me to go get the keys from her. He got the keys. As we are walking towards the car, we seem to pass a washed mustang sitting on the lot. I told the young man. "Excuse me Im suppose to be getting the mustang"?! He says oh it needs maintence. He is showing me the car, and my sister approaches me and asks " Hey arent you suppose to get the Mustang"? Well sis he said it needs maintence? What type of maintence ? He says oh like it needs oil change , tires etc. My thing is why the hell was I not called a day before to let me know that the car was not available for pick up? I called 20 minutes before why didnt they tell me when I called. Service sucked !! They are suppose to call you a day before when something like this occurs. So Im taking legal actions!!! Discrimination was a big role and Im not having no BS lies!! After all this I went to another place and they told me Its not right you shouldve recieved a call from us!!! I am a jeweler and was on a business trip today when my car had two flats on the interstate. Not knowing what to do to Dave my day is called Enterprise to arranged a pickup whinny car was being repaired. The enterprise location was closing and my husband called to request if there was any way I could drop the car off abut late because I was stuck in traffic. He was told by the manager, Jenny that I could come in late as they had bookworm to do. I returned the car after hours and I was worried about calling a cab and waiting outside in the dark. As I was checking out I was told that an employee Nancy Gray had volunteered to wait and drive me to the location where my car was waiting. I have used this location before for rentals of my own but I never will again. I had to arrange my own rental after a collision that I was found to be not at fault for. I had to ask for a discounted rate as this rental was to be provided while my car was in repair. I originally called in to arrange the rental by phone & was laughed at by Richard "We don't rent cars for $25 a day and we can't just give you a car and bill an insurance company." I then went in person and talked to a nice girl at the desk that pulled up the $23.99 + tax rate that was between Enterprise and the Insurance company and booked the reservation. I told her I was only given $25.90 per day and she took my reservation but added on additional insurance... When I turned my car into the body shop I had to wait over 30 minutes in the lobby for the Enterprise pick up service. The body shop had to call Enterprise to remind them that I was still waiting. They were there within 5 minutes of the 2nd call and it was Richard that picked me up. He bashed the auto shop the entire ride back to Enterprise. Thankfully it was a 5 minute ride but he said that he "would NEVER trust that shop with his car or leave his car there and he was in an accident before and was recommended that shop by the other's insurance an he said HECK NO will I ever take my car there!" and on and on and on... It was the most awkward and a little bit scary 5 minute ride. Mind you, I have a concussion & whiplash from being rear-ended. I'm definitely suffering enough. Richard checked me in and I told him I have full coverage with my own auto insurance & AAA roadside so I didn't need those Insurance add-ons. "OK, no problem" he said & was typing in his computer. He printed out some form & told me to walk around the car & look for dents or scratches. He showed me the form on a clipboard & said "just initial here, here, here, here, here & sign & I'll give you the keys." I was so glad it was over. I returned my rental with a full tank of gas and a blond girl pulled up my bill and charged me $34 more than my allowance. I asked if that was the discounted Insurance rate and she said "Yep, do you want it on the same card you gave at the reservation?" I said ok but I did not see the itemized bill until after I agreed to payment. It had 2 categories of insurance charges THAT I SAID I DIDN'T NEED AT THE TIME OF THE RESERVATION! I got home and compared the Enterprise bill to the check that the insurance company sent me & I was out $34 of my own dollars for a rental that was to get me through while my car was in repair. The Insurance company sent me a check for $25.90 x 4 days =$103.60. I actually only had the rental for 3 days so I should have been charged $25.90 x 3 days =$77.70. So actually I was overcharged $60. I called the shop and of course Richard took the call and said "You signed for it. All I can do is let my manager know and ask him to call you tomorrow." I said "yes, please let him know & have him call me." I went all day the next day with no call so I called again myself and left a message asking the manager to call back. I still have not been called by the manager. All this for $60... do they get commissions or points for upselling insurance? I will never go here again. ************************** update 4.03.15 6:15 pm *************************************** The district manager called me and is approving a refund for the amount I was overcharged. I may give Enterprise a 2nd chance but never at this location & I am now the wiser. read more

I came in to rent a car, transaction was fast(10 minutes max) BUT then after that, I had to waited for well over an hr to get a car, I sat and watch person after person come in and walk out with a car. I'd probably give 1 star if it wasn't for the lady that helped me. Thankfully my rental was free through the dealership fixing me vehicle otherwise I would've raised serious hell. Got my rental and waited 30 minutes for them to clean it out and still wasn't even fully clean as one would hope, they just vacuumed. Than the 2nd day of having the vehicle I got a flat tire on my way to work and so I called for THEIR road side service I mean it is THEIR car after all not mine. They wanted to charge me 60 bucks to send someone out, I was forced to use my triple a (thank god I have triple a) or I would've been on the side of the freeway doing it myself in 90 degree weather. At this location and they are very unorganized. They are running around grabbing different keys and pointing the key remote through the window seeing if the car is in the lot. They do not know what they have in there lot, running in and out to constantly look through the lot so see what they have available. The phone is constantly ringing and no one will answer it. You would think they have a system to know what they have ready to rent out, the computer right in front of them should be a great tool to use. If it wasn't f9r my insurance renting me the car I would have left a long time ago. read more

I reserved an SUV about 2 months ago for a family vacation. When I needed to change the pick-up date, I called and was able to very easily. On the day I went to pick-up the SUV they didn't have the SUV I wanted available, so they offered me an upgrade at no additional charge. Matt and Stefanie were wonderful to work with. Super nice, professional and made sure we were ok. When we returned the SUV Alex made it super easy. I will definitely return. I rent often with enterprise but this location was the worst one I been to. It was my first time at this location and I had to sit there and wait for an hour because all they had were 3 SUVs. Plus, one of the guys was rude. Someone else ended up having to help me. I haven't had any problems with any other enterprise locations so this is the first disappointment and I would recommend to go to do a different location instead. read more

I had to leave my Ford Fusion in for some recalls and was rovided with a rental. I was assisted by Will Rodgers at the Ford Enterprise location. He was very friendly and helpful.
