Location: 1101 Post Rd., Warwick , RI: Excellent customer service at pickup with David and return on 8/20/22 when that representative was working alone on a Saturday. Efficient and courteous. Offered additional available features but didn't push them. They we're able to pick me up at a nearby hotel. This service "may" be less available in these post-pandemic times. The car was brand-new-looking clean, the size requested and ready at scheduled time. No lingering smells as sometimes happens with a rental. Filthy windows, filthy floor and strong cigarette odor in my Enterprise car rental. The windows prompted the Enterprise rental agent to clean a few before I drove the car away. When I drove into the sun, dirt on the front windshield prevented clear vision. An odor of stale cigarettes became apparent. I had to pull into a store to buy glass cleaner, sponges and some deodorizer. White salt stains covered the floor while a checklist on the dash certified that everything had been cleaned. Calling the "24-HOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE " phone number had a recording telling me that offices were closed and advised to "call during regular business hours." read more

First like to say I gave 5 stars because they went above and beyond to please me in all areas of Customer Service. They might do this to everyone but it felt very personal. Got there 20 minutes before my reservation. Something happened to the car i was supposed to get. Got a quick upgrade to a larger and newer car. Very Classy I must add. Dave did a very good job making me feel like family! After returning the car they actually dropped me off home. I forgot the pleasant woman's name but she was awesome. Everyone was so awesome there. When they went to check on how I returned the car The manager Casey even was pleasant by talking to me from time to time while she worked! Will return soon! read more

I rented a Toyota Corolla from here for a one week rental. The car was ready when I arrived, clean and ran fine for the 750 or so miles I put on it. I dropped off the car Saturday afternoon when the office was closed so used the drop box to return the keys. The best part of the experience was the service I received after the rental. After locking up the car and leaving I realized I left my laptop and iPad in the car. The black case laying on the black carpet made it nearly invisible, so I missed it. Anyway, I returned Monday morning to pick it up and sure enough it was safely put away in the back office waiting for me. Thanks Enterprise! read more

We were very impressed with their customer service. Everything worked out very well. We paid in advance for a cheaper gas rate so it was nice not worrying about filling up before returning the car. Overall was a great experience and I would definitely return here in the future! read more

Enterprise says they will pick up/drop off customers before and after rentals, but this enterprise would not drop us off where we needed to go. It was only 15 minutes from their location. I was disappointed in the false marketing. Also, when the agent was swiping my card on pick up, he said 1 price then when I dropped off the car, they gave me a receipt with a higher total than what he said. Watch out! read more

I had a car reserved at Thrifty. Thrifty said they did not have any cars and the wait would be at least an hour. I went to the next desk which was Enterprise. I received friendly service, got my car immediately and they beat Thrifty's price. Enterprise saved the day. read more

Rented twice in past month from Enterprise. Originally had made error when reserving on-line and chose from Sabin location...called to confirm and they advised that probably wanted Post Road location. They moved reservations over to Post Road but all subsequent emails indicated Sabin. Caused a few calls to reassure us that car would be at Post. Returning car on Sept. 27th (Sunday) we went initially to Post Road....Closed on Sunday....no one had mentioned that when we picked up car. Fortunately we knew where Airport drop off was and brought it there....needs to be more communication on both subjects please. Cars were clean and all was in order....people were very friendly and courteous. . read more

This ENTERPRISE franchise delivered what I expected- fast check in- a clean car with adequate room and power. Most important, during the walk a round, the agent showed me where the gas tank was. For my part, I returned a rental with a full tank. Overall, a very good experience. read more

I originally looked at the Enterprise in the PVD airport but found a cheaper rate outside the airport just 10 minutes away. I took a cab there which only took $10. I had an economy car booked for 2:30pm but had arrived early. The lady at the desk was very nice about offering me insurance for my car. I politely declined and she didn't push it. I signed the papers and I followed her outside to my Toyota Prius Hatchback. The car was new and clean, it only had 2000 miles on it. This whole process took 15 minutes tops. I'm very happy with the service I received at this location. I will definitely do business again. read more

I have had 2 experiences with Enterprise, both horrible. The first time I rented a vehicle, I was told they only had high end cars available, at the rate of $ 70 per day. When my insurance company paid for a portion , it took over a year to get the reimbursement from Enterprise for what I had paid upfront, with ongoing calls only to be told "the manager is unavailable ", "the issue will be researched and we will call you back". I was told I would receive a call over 30 times and never received a call. Every time I called or had to leave work to attempt to resolve in person, the same people told me they were not aware of the situation despite the fact I had spent 20 minutes at the counter with this same person the previous week. Today I attempted to rent an "economy" car for one day, which would come to a total of $40 for this economy car. I made reservations in advance. Upon confirmation I was instructed I would need to pay upfront upon pick up. I was ok with that. I had to take a taxi there which cost me $18 to get there. The taxi drops me off and I go inside and they pull up my reservation. I provide my license and attempt to make payment with my debit card and I am informed if I use a debit card, they require a copy of a utility bill and a pay Stub! Yes, like I carry those around. I will just pay cash then. "No, we don't take cash". Obviously you are going to get paid as I am giving you cash! We don't take cash. How can you refuse cash payment? I am told for security purposes, "if I am the only one here someone could come in with a gun" ! Seriously dude, man up...you work in a highly populated area and close at 6 pm! "You could do a money order". I say fine I will walk somewhere and get it only to be told you will still need a utility bill and pay stub. Really you idiot? I said it would have been nice if I was informed of your ridiculous policies when I made the reservation. So stranded here with this fool I had to call a taxi again and pay another $20 for a total of $40 to go 4.4 miles and return home with no car. And so much for their friendly We will pick you up! This service is not available at any of their locations throughout the city. read more

I rented a car while mine was being repaired and the rental vehicle was fine except it had a maintenance light on. But the problem arose when I received my bill which should have been zero and was for $49.43 which is equal to almost 2 days rental. The outlet was closed so i couldn't get an answer why I was charged when Travelers was supposed to pay and when the repair took longer the repair shop Balise was to pay the outstanding amount an yet here is the charge and make matter worse I called customer service at Enterprise and was hung up upon for the first and told that I was charged and they would do nothing to help me by the second, This is not acceptable. I wonder what other devious thing they do. read more

My experience started off okay. The staff realized that I was in a jam and really helped me get into an efficient car mainly for home to work use. I had the car for a month then had to come in to renew the contract. The rate just about doubled on me and got out of my range. I kept it for one more week then returned it -one hour late so 1/3rd day charge. Then a guy comes out with the magnifying glass to inspect it. He finds a dent on the pass. side and I told him that I had no idea how that could have happened. So before I left a damage report went out and they are holding me responsible. Rented a Yukon for a week - $800+. Vehicle was filthy with dirty windows inside & out.

Helpful service day of sale, but after finding out they were hiding all the fees they charge at the end. Terrible customer service after the rental was returned, never refunded the "hold" charge of $200. Then when I called to complain about it 4 days later, they claimed they had to detail the car which is absolutely ridiculous and then they went ahead and charged me a fee of $75. After which I was told I would get the remaining $125 back, only to find out "taxes" weren't included so ended up only getting $90 back. Employee over the phone couldn't even explain to me what charges were and why. Complete hoax and waste of my time and money. I will never rent from this company again. They charge a fee for everything, don't take their "insurance" either, because they tell you it's going to be $19.99 but then charge $15 in taxes. Employees can't even keep up with outrageous charges and why we are charged them. This was only for a one day rental so I can imagine how difficult they are to work with on a multiple day rental car. STAY AWAY! What a nightmare this time around. Looks like they got new staff who are unhelpful and arrogant. They will ask details about your trip and where you work... I don't think I should have to justify where I should go or give them my work information if I rent a car. They called out of the blue and said the car registration has expired and I have to return it. I returned the same day and went down the street at Thrifty, rented another car without a hitch. NO REFUND ON THE PREPAID REMAINING DAYS. STAY AWAY from this branch. Go to the Airport location or at other rental companies down the street. read more

i cant give it any less so they have to support one star, poor quality from a business that wants my money. First of all the car was dirty exterior and interior. the car interior was nasty sticky from who knows what stains on the seat, I had to wear gloves while driving else my hands stuck to the everything in the car, I sat in the car and reeked from previous renter smoking marijuana, yes POT, I got high just driving the car. Used Enterprise when the rental was covered by insurance while car was being repaired. No issues, and very satisfied. That was about 18 months ago. I figured I would give them some business - nightmare. Booked on-line, and when I got there advised in order to use debit card: they needed 2 RI address utility bills (in same name as driver's address); pay stub; and insurance card. What a joke - I am done with them. Oh - you can use a "credit card" and they hold an extra $200.00 above and beyond the price of the rental. read more

I rented a car here on a Friday for a 3 day rental. They gave me a free upgrade which I though was very cool. The customer service gentleman had me look around the car for dents with him. He said the tank was full. Upon driving away i quickly realized the car was not full but half full so i had to return and he notated the account. The car ran fine the entire time i had it. i decided to return the car on Sunday before the 48 hours was up as my car was repaired and i no longer needed the rental. I called the 800 number to inform them I was returning it early as this location is CLOSED on Sunday. I left the keys in the drop box on the premises. The next day I went to pick up a final bill in person. They billed me for the full 3 days rather than 2. I was obviously pissed. I did speak with the representative this morning and they nicely agreed to refund me for the 3rd day. I would only rent from this location on the weekend if you are SURE you are going to take the a rental thru a Sunday. Otherwise you will be in a dispute with them which i don't think you want. If you are not sure you would take a rental for the Sunday simply go to a location that grants credit for Sundays. read more
