Chronic staffing issues, high turnover, short staffing. Leading to long waits. This is definitely an orphan location which receives poor support. Janitorial of the facility is poor, each visit. Outside is very poorly kept up, trash everywhere. Needs additional staff during busy periods, better staff training in customer service and maybe how to smile and acknowledge customers properly. read more

Today, Sherry and her other associate (I did not get his name) were both helping other customers when I arrived to return the rental car. One of the other customers was asking a lot of questions. Sherry quickly acknowledged me, smiled, apologized for keeping me waiting (which was not necessary as I could see she was busy but it was appreciated). Sherry then physically ran to get all the outside work done and came back quickly. She seemed to be focused on clearing me quickly as she knew my ride was waiting. She finished all the process very fast and I was checked out and on my way very quickly. AND she asked if there was anything else she could do or if I was satisfied. I have rented from the facility multiple times and each time I have found the management and all the team members to be very focused on customer service. They have genuinely tried to meet all my needs with their inventory and changed the assigned car when something more suited was available. There has never been an unacceptable delay and the service is extremely professional and friendly - and very effective. I've had this experience with this location before - ALL of them are really good and ALL of them acknowledge you and try to get you checked out and checked in quickly. read more

This is the worst experience of my life, I rented a car here since I was in accident. I returned the car in perfect condition and now they are claiming I damage the car. What's worse, they handed the car to me in that condition and now they are saying I did the damage, now I have to dispute the claim cause one of their employees didn't put the damages that were on the car. read more

After driving a larger vehicle for a week, I walked into this location in hopes that they'd have a smaller car available. I arrived an hour before close and Wakim was incredibly polite, accommodating, and very very efficient. I addressed my concerns, he assessed the situation, and found a solution in a timely manner. Rented a Nissan Rogue during Fourth of July weekend so I could fit all of my equipment on the drive to Palm Springs! The experience couldn't be better, although I was modifying my reservation until the last minute, the staff at the Westminster location was warm, welcoming, attentive to my needs and friendly throughout the entire rental process, from insurance to the walk around the car to inspect for dings and dents. The car did the trick and fit all my equipment and the staff were very helpful in showing me my SUV options that had the most available trunk space! This enterprise is unprofessional. Things that happened. Rented a Nissan Versa. Asked for cheaper rate and was not told that the reason the rate was so low is because they didn't add coverage. (Without my knowledge) I assume I was asked for a signature to waive this but wasn't informed. Multiple texts from the managers personal line. This includes a condescending tone that made me extremely uncomfortable. I actually returned the car at another enterprise to avoid ERICA, the manager. 15 days after I returned the car I was charged on my card again. 2 separate transactions for 150$ (300$ total) Then the next day another charge for 100$ The a week after that (20 days after returning the rental) I got another charge for 14$ Based on advice from my attorney and several close friends I've contacted the BBB. read more

I've had bad experiences at other Enterprises in the area. When Toyota sent me to another Enterprise I was very nervous about another lackluster experience. Enter Kien Hoang the enterprise rep who helped me. He was explosive with energy but still made me feel safe that no one was going to try anything sketchy here. He also went on to explain how the experiences in the past were totally the fault of the enterprise reps who helped me before and not some fine print that escaped me. He totally changed my perception about enterprises and will probably ask to go to this one if I'm force to again. read more

This is probably my worst experience renting a car. I have never had issues with this location in past experiences but definitely had some issues with the branch manager. The reason I am renting a car is because my car is in the shop for repair. Per my policy with my auto insurance company, I am qualified for a rental up to $25/day. I called this location 3 days ago and they told me to come on out to get my rental. Arrived at the branch and was told that they don't have any cars available within that price range. Only trucks and vans which means I'd have to pay the difference out of pocket. I asked what options I have if I didn't want to do that and was told that they'd check inventory and give me a call the next day. Next day comes, no call. I called today (day 3) and was told that I need to just pay the difference if I want a car. I don't necessarily have an issue with the lack of availability. My understanding is that Enterprise would provide me with a car, though out of our price range, until another car is available. The manager was extremely curt and flippant. When I called after (after he spoke to my insurance's claims adjuster) his tone changed completely. Customer service shouldn't be decent AFTER a complaint has been placed. Please provide training on etiquette to your manager. Definitely not doing business with Enterprise anymore and will be encouraging others to do the same. Unacceptable. read more

I went to this location because I was told they give great rates. When I first went in I was told I'd only pay $ to rent the car. Insurance wasn't mentioned and the guy didn't explain the $200 hold either so I walked home (3 miles) thinking I was getting ripped off. Second day I came back I rented a car cuz what I was told and understood I was paying for the car rental and insurance. But when I returned the car my bill was over $400. Now I was told only of the $18.52 per day rental cost and insurance which was around $17. Now I'm not a math genius but for 7 days that doesn't come to $400. $18.52 x 7 = $129.64 $17 x 7 = $119.00 = $248.64 Let's say for the sake of argument tax is 10% Even so... how would the total be $400?! Fees are $100+??? All I gotta say is explanation of charges when a customer is renting a car is vital to a great experience. I asked a few times for clarification but just said forget it after not getting a clear understandable explanation. What would have been best is to instead write it out for a customer to see the charges on a piece of paper. Extra effort to write out the amounts and label them will help tremendously and it doesn't take that much time either and avoids confusion and bad experiences. I'd suggest those helpful tips to make your business more successful plus it eases the customer's mind because it's all written out and neither party can say it wasn't explained clearly. Or have some type of example that shows the basic charges in certain situations so customer's can get a vague idea of what they'd pay for the type of car they want to rent. read more

The lack of communication within employees is very frustrating and unprofessional on their end. First started with lack of communication with repair man who was trying to get me a ride to their rentals, which they said they're short staffed and i could WALK to their office since it wasn't far. RepairMan kindly gave me a ride due to me not knowing the area. Was told they accept apple pay, not true. Let them know it wasn't a problem, asked if my partner would be able to come pay for my security deposit due to losing Card and awaiting new one & they said of course and guaranteed me with no issues. Had to lyft home, only to come back with partner and have a different employee say that my partner is unable to pay for it & there's nothing he could do about it. I was very happy with my experience at this Enterprise. It is located directly next to Honda World in Westminster. I came to Honda World to get a new tire because there was a nail in it. Sigh. But Honda World did not have my tire in stock and would not be able to get it until the following day. They sent me over to Enterprise, which was walking distance, and took care of my rental car for me. Once I got to Enterprise, Tyler helped me with everything. He was super nice and accommodating. First, they did not have any cars in stock, so Tyler drove me to another location to get a car. All they had were cargo vans and I didn't feel comfortable driving that. I felt really bad, but Tyler was super nice about it. When we got back to Enterprise, there were more cars and I got to rent a beautiful white jeep. I didn't want to give it back. I was originally bummed that I was not going to be able to leave with my car but I was so happy with everything. This place SUCKS! Only because of "Max" the guy who works at the desk. The poor girl that has to work with him! He just ordered her around while he answered the phone and spoke to customers rudely. Apparently Max is leaving soon (we overheard him say so). This Max guy is SO full of self-importance! He has such a bad attitude. We overheard him uttering under his breath about a customer on the phone; bad mouthing another person in front of us! He never told me how to operate the weird looking keys on the rental; and told me as I was about to drive off that the car I owned was better than the rental (in other words, the rental was crap). It was. I drove it 5 miles to another enterprise and exchanged the car for a different one. The staff at the fountain valley enterprise was 100% better!! Friendly and helpful. I went to this store April 11 to rent a car when I was greeted by a tall blonde sales person, Erica. I requested an economy car when she asks: "do you live in Westminster?" "No, I live in Huntington Beach" "Can you show me proof that you live there like a payment bill?" An odd question to ask but I understand that it could be policy. However, my CA license recently expired and I was going to rent on my foreign, at which point i'm completely refused service even after mentioning that I had a 2month rental from the same location. I told her that I will send my girlfriend which she approved. As I was leaving Erica say "sorry, DUDE." Disrespectful. -Quick pre-context, I am a black FOREIGNER, my girlfriend is a German/white FOREIGNER. Before any assumptions are made to why I was even stereotyped, this was my outfit: Gucci glasses, ALMA MATER sweatshirt, Ralph Lauren pants, Nike slippers and name-engraved Burberry wallet custom made in London. 2)My girlfriend shows up an hour later and is greeted warmly by Erica. When she provides an address Erica remarks "Oh it's great that you have an address." The issue here is that my girlfriend has no means of verifying that she lives in Huntington Beach since she's visiting me. Yet, Erica let my girlfriend us an address that's entirely on my name without checking. Furthermore, my girlfriend was allowed to book the car with a foreigner license (similar to mine) and a foreign prepaid MasterCard(my foreign Visa, not prepaid, was not even swiped to prove it is a credit). My girlfriend got the car. 3) we went there an hour later because she did not receive a receipt. When we entered first I was not even acknowledged about my rental situation while my girlfriend is warmly welcomed. As she left Erica said she emailed the receipt but my gf said she was never asked for an email. 4)Upon receipt we noticed that the deposit was $260 when I was told that the only deposit they require is $200 (after I asked if could pay double to rent on my foreign license). After which I was told that there was a lady who could not pay her deposit and the minimum Erica offered her was a $60 deposit. I am assuming that whatever that lady was missing was added on my girlfriend's deposit. Basically, accounting fraud 5)Upon returning the rental on Friday I was sitting down when Erica asks me: " So did you figure out your license stuff?" "umm,no" "So how are you going to rent a car?" Absolutely rude customer service. When I told her I am returning the black Jeep she remembers my girlfriend's name with a look of confusion. I am guessing that she was expecting "my black gf" to rent the car for me, it's 2018, deal with it. Furthermore, after she has already clocked out Erica gets in her car and parks right in front of the Jeep while I was taking out personal belongings. 6) Granted Tony and the other guy working there have been nothing but helpful and respectful over the phone. The guys from last year were also great. However, Erica's service/preferential treatment/bias is unacceptable. Little background for Erica next time you assume: you probably wouldn't guess I come from a wealthy, Ivy league family where respect is key. Never assume you are better based than solely on prejudice. Enterprise should follow Starbucks lead in providing Racial Bias Training to their employees. Disgusting. read more

Grade: C- I received my rental car with 1/4 tank full. What an inconvenience. This is part of customer service. After being rear-ended and having to deal with insurance headaches, the last thing anyone wants to do is have to fill up a gas tank. However, on the positive side, the staff were cordial. I returned my car ~2 hours past my time, but they adjusted the time so that it would fall within the grace period so that I would not have an extra hourly charge. They also pick up and drop off like most other rental places. read more
