I had reserved an economy and they put me in a full-size SUV, a Chevy Tahoe. And sure, you might be worried about gas so they told me that I could return it empty. Awesome. The inside of the car was clean but the outside was covered in road salt. I checked for damage, they checked for damage but it turns out that there was a very small ding in one fender. A ding that you would never see unless you look at it at the correct angle and wash off the salt. I'll save that for later if Enterprise does actually come for me for the damage.

I reserved my rental for a long trip from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania and the rental agency called me the night before I had to pick up the car. They asked if I would be paying with a debit card or credit card. I said debit and they required me to show 2 of the 3: my insurance policy, a utility bill with my name on it, and a current paystub. Well apparently my only utility bill with my wifes name on it doesn't qualify and I am currently unemployed so I have no paystub. I then offered my credit card. However it's in my wifes name and they wouldn't take that either. With a half hour before they close and the night before an important trip I am sweating with anxiety! They offered to change the rental to my wifes name after I inquired about it. Not even something they suggested. So we decided to use her credit card. Which they then told me there was a $200 security deposit. Now I had to quickly make sure that wasn't going to put us over our credit limit. Luckily it didn't. However all of these things should've been communicated to me earlier! Not the night before my trip!! Worst service ever!

STAY AWAY!! On Saturday June 1st, 2019, my friends and I rented a car through budget. We picked up…read morethe car from this location in Worcester at 3:00pm. The rental agreement was purchased through Hotwire along with the car insurance. Upon arrival, the staff at the location was preparing to close for the day although I had an appointment to pick up the car between 3-4pm. The gentlemen began processing my paperwork was moving quickly through the process. When it was time to provide me with the car, the gentlemen gave me the vehicle without completing a walk through. Due to this not being our first time renting a car, my friend requested a walk through prior to taking the vehicle out of the lot. During the walk through, the exterior of the vehicle looked fine so we expected to be in good shape. After finalizing all of the paper work and driving the car out of the lot, we drove about 10 mins away from Budget and the car began to stall while driving it. Long story short after further investigation, the inside of the car which budget allowed us to drive off with was corroded with fluid and was causing the car to stall, not start and not be able to drive even up the road. Budget then took 6 hours to bring a replacement vehicle which ended up having even more issues than the first vehicle when the tire pooped while driving on the highway. Budget was neglect full in every sense of it all from the faulty vehicles they allowed us to drive off with as well as their attention to the serious matters at hand. They are NOT worth the headache and should honestly go out of business. I would not recommend Budget to anyone out there. PLEASE BEWARE!

After explaining what I was calling for, being cold transferred to wait 10 minutes on hold to speak to someone in a different department, I was erroneously instructed I could go to any Avis location for the repair. Upon arrival at the Grove St. Worcester location, Jason was very understanding of the situation. Even though he does not service the Uber segment of Avis at his location, he still took the time out to make multiple phone calls to help resolve my issue. Upon learning there are no local service areas and no alternate cars available, he even went above and beyond and asked the Regional Manager if I could be serviced at his local shop and billed directly to Avis, which she accommodated. As rideshare is my only source of income, I cannot express how grateful I am for Jason's determination in helping me when he could have easily sent me on my way. After experiencing less than stellar customer service even through Avis's National Customer Service Call Center, Jason made my day and saved me from being stressed out. Thank you so very much.
