The food was terrible!! Ordered the portobello burger and it was not good. The burger lacked any flavor what so ever and the mushroom itself was filled with water. It's hard being a vegetarian because all of these restaurants want to sell fake meat or pull very little effort into building flavors in the dishes on the menu. I don't know why others are saying bad things about the black bean burrito but I beg to differ. It is delish. Even my hubby, who is totally a carnivore, wouldn't stop eating my burrito. Went back and forth on this one based on the mixed reviews. So glad we gave it a try. Since we've never been, we tried several items: Buffalo cauliflower, Mac n cheese, fried green tomatoes, teriyaki bowl, Philly cheesesteak and a black bean burger. Everything was delicious. We ordered online and the food was done by the time I got there to pick it up. Initially I was doing to order it for delivery but the delivery time was over an hour. I can see how some received cold food if it's been sitting over an hour. I'd blame the delivery service not the restaurant. Since I picked up, I had very little interaction with the staff other than the lady at the front. She greeted me when I came in which is more than some do when you order takeout. The only minor thing I'd note is that the Mac n cheese needs a little salt but I'd rather add my own anyway. I hope this place stays around. We REALLY need vegan options in the area. read more

Whew, let's get into it! 8:06pm, March 4. Okay so my boyfriend traveled here from Baltimore and I wanted to treat him to this " nice vegan spot" before he left. It would've been better to cook the arugula with the mushrooms, which were scant. Maybe 2 per bite? And it was truly sandwich size. Don't expect a hoagie or philly size sandwich. It might have been 5" tops. I know it's a recession, and it's hard out here for everybody, and maybe their vegan market likes small portions, but we're still talking run of the mill sliced button mushrooms, not oyster, portabella or anything premium.
