When it was my turn, it was business as usual, virtually pain-free, and an easy blood draw. While the two women working were professional and friendly, they clearly needed more help. I went in the door about 5 minutes after it opened and there were already 4 people ahead of me. The door to the room where everyone was getting their blood drawn was wide open which I found odd. When it was finally my turn, I walked into that room and there was a drop of someone else's blood on the floor. Now I've never had any issue getting blood drawn before yet this time the phlebotomist needed to use both arms instead of just one. Luckily it didn't take too much longer after she switched arms and I was quickly out the door. Maybe it was just an off day for them but I can't say it will be my first lab stop from now on.

Parking is ample and the staff is friendly. The front office is clean and organized with lots of seating. The only real issue here is the area where you are prepped for MRI's. The area is large and open with zero privacy as you answer sensitive questions. You can also clearly see into each testing room when you are in this room. On the day of my last MRI there were about four employees in this space and the room was an absolute wreck. It was disorganized and it seemed as though personal items were strewn everywhere. Although the staff is wonderful the mess really does leave a bad impression. Lynn, a nurse who has put my line in most times I have gone for testing is absolutely wonderful with the lightest touch. I am always happy to see that she is the nurse when I arrive. Overall, best diagnostic imaging office in the area, just ignore the mess.

This is not something listed clearly online, and I wanted to avoid driving from one walk-in location to another. There appears to be no effective customer service. Every phone number I found, including those listed for customer service, routed me to the billing department. The billing representatives were polite and genuinely tried to help, but they could only provide the phone numbers for individual facilities. Unfortunately, no one answered at the facilities I called. I wasn't asking for medical advice or test results, just a simple yes-or-no question: "Does your location perform this test?" Patients should not have to spend hours calling unanswered numbers or driving from place to place just to find where a test is available. The billing staff deserves credit for trying to assist. My disappointment is with the lack of accessible customer service and the inability to reach the individual laboratory locations. I hope Sunrise Medical Laboratories improves communication so patients can obtain basic information without unnecessary frustration.
