Heard a lot about this restaurant being the best pizza joint in Jackson. If it is, then this place is seriously deprived. I like the place as a spot. Friendly people and apparently in business for 35 years plus. So there must be a sufficiently large group of supporters. I'm just not going to be one of them. To be honest, I can only talk about their pizza but since I believe that is more than likely the reason why you'll consider this establishment, I think my review is relevant. My children liked their pizza but they do not really have discerning pallets.... It does mean that they do not skimp on the toppings or cheese, which is true. Unfortunately this is about where the positives end. The crust is a good consistency and thickness but extremely bland. If I had to guess, their dough is a basic blend of flour, water and yeast and while some may like the "authenticity" of this, I do not think that we should have to gnaw on a tasteless piece of crust when it is so easy to add a little flavor with at least some salt and sugar added to the mix. I also did not like the sauce. It was a little sour for my taste and I did not get any real FLAVOR at all. No oregano, basil or garlic anywhere. Again, I'd say the sauce could be classified as basic (authentic?) - tomato paste, salt and water. I know it is very hip to do food basic and "pure" but I'm just not cool enough for flavorless food. If you're going to ingest the calories from a pizza, it might as well be a flavorful and satisfying experience. This pizza is only just "not bad" and at $35 for 2 pies (a pepperoni and a"meats") it is not cheap. I probably won't be spending my pizza money here in the future.... read more

Never unhappy. Food is always perfect The other day I lazied out of driving the extra mile and boy was I sorry! I've been to all pizza places in Jackson at one time or another and Enzo's has the best food and prices, but I'd have to agree with another reviewer. I have Penne with garlic, oil and peas - It was one the the absolute best I've ever had - My buddy had spaghetti with meat sauce - again out of this world. First off I watched an ENTIRE movie waiting for delivery..... when I finally called and complained they said they tried called me to let me know I never gave an apartment number.... I live in an apartment I know how important that part is LOL. Will never order from here again. Since moving here back in September, Enzo's has been my go to place. Unfortunately, I was disappointed this time around. Phone service was great as always. Delivery was fast as always, I ordered 3 medium rolls (sausage & peppers, Italian, and chicken parmigiana). All 3 rolls were all dough and no meats. Sausage roll was burned. Idk lol. read more

Ordered a sausage roll from Enzos but instead I got a hockey puck shaped like a half of moon. Disgusting to spend 17 dollars and all you taste is the bottom of the oven. Either they dont have enough brains to realize an oven gets dirty or they dont have the decency to clean it out or they are just that lazy. This review is for the standard cheese pizza. The sauce was average and judiciously placed on the pie. It was neither too sweet or salty. The cheese was average, and really didn't have too much flavor. And the crust was slightly below average, being too dry, but neither soggy or burnt. If you're looking for a decent local pie to take home on a Friday for movie night, Enzo's isn't a bad choice. read more

Breakdown of the pizza: The dough has great flavor and some how manages to stay crispy even after you bring it home in the box. The sauce has great flavor, not too salty or sweet. The cheese is great, it's definitely of the higher qualities of cheese. My favorite from here is the Sicilian pizza, the crust is super airy, light and fluffy. One of the better Sicilians in the area. As far as prices go, they're pretty good. Not really pricey at all, I'd say below the average of most pizzerias. Haven't tried any of the kitchen food yet, but if their kitchen is as good as their pizza, they should be fine! Definitely recommend them, it's one of the better pizza spots in Jackson. read more

Enzo's has great food. Customer service is poor at best, unfortunately. I stopped eating there about a year ago due to the "attitude" I would get from the counter guys, not the family. I decided to try again. A few good visits, then again with the "attitude". I will not support any business that does not respect their customers. I grew up living in Jackson for 17 years so I've seen the pizzarias at this location come and go. Now that I'm no longer in Jackson, I've traveled many places experiencing different pizzas. I have yet to have a slice of pizza as good as Enzo's. The pizza is always perfectly thin and crispy. The customer service is great as it's family owned. My son and I were both starving, not having eating a thing all day so we decided to visit here for the first time after passing it many times before. Heard the food was good, portions were healthy and price was typical. Well it pretty much turned out that way. We decided to do a sampler of subs, both hot and cold. For the cold we ordered the standard ham, cheese, salami, and capicola and also a tuna sub. For the hot we ordered a chicken parm and a sausage parm sandwich. Since we ordered so many we decided on only doing the halfs. These are 9" halfs mind you for about 7 dollars. The whole is 18"!!! My son liked all of them, I did as well but could pass on the sausage parm next time. The chicken parm was decent but I'd personally go with cold subs next time. They have a large menu and other patrons were eating regular meals and many seemed to know each other either dining in or getting take out. To me that's a good sign when the locals frequent a place. Been going here for a long time. It's changed owners 3 times in the last 8 years. Place is very old and needs a lift. Staff is very nice and the pizza selection is one of the best around. After reading many positive reviews about this place, we decided to try it tonight. Nice interior. Waitress was friendly. We ordered the house salad which we asked her about. Enough to share. Very very fresh. A nice man brought over an order of hot garlic knots. Not very garlicky bit that's good for me. Fresh and hot. We had large pie. Half plain half pepperoni .
