This is the perfect spot to pregame before heading into Six Flags. No, you can't openly chug alcohol here - well, maybe you can - but you CAN avoid the exorbitant prices at the theme park next door. We stopped by for breakfast (lunch, for some of us) to save a few bucks - since everyone else had the same idea, the place (and parking lot) was packed to the gills. Somehow we scored seats. Lines generally moved fast except for the line I was in. After what seemed like an eternity, I ordered, paid, and scarfed down a sandwich. Dont waste your time here. The entire staff here are LAZY YOUNG PEOPLE and most of them are FAT. Placing an order here is an inconvenience for them and it shows. This is the location closest to Six Flags Great Adventure so it is always busy in the summer. The microwaved cheeseburgers STILL make it to the table COLD. Drive thru experience only. This McDonald's is just south of I-195 in Cream Ridge, NJ, and near Six Flags Great Adventure. The middle of winter is not the moment to see it operating at peak efficiency, but the workers probably don't mind the slow time after being hammered all Spring, Summer and Fall. So, I wasn't overly impatient as I waited for the one car in line in front of me to receive its order. Looked like a small bag, but maybe it was full of fifties. My Sausage, Egg & Cheese was finally handed over to me, along with a large Java, and I resumed my trip to Toms River. Opening the wrapped sandwich at a red light, I immediately noticed how much smaller this iteration of this meal had become since my last visit to any McDonald's for breakfast. Price seemed reasonable, and the 24/7 concept was a good one. I didn't know whether to be annoyed at the shrinkage, or pleased that they were taking my health into consideration by building a smaller heart attack. Taste was as remembered. read more

Now I don't believe in the whole "customers always right". But I know what I said. I had an order with multiple items but only one was a meal which i said NIMBER ONE. I realized after I drove up to the first window to pay that it wasn't put in as a meal and just a sandwich. The black women with an accent starts telling me the amount I owe and tried telling her one is supposed to be a meal but just kept repeating herself with the amount until I had to get loud. She said to me "your supposed to tell me it's a meal" .. when I clearly did. I told her I did and that she needs be nicer to customers. I worked at Burger King for 4 years and never made it an issue if someone decided after they wanted to create a meal or if they said something incorrectly. You simply push buttons. Besides the area where the drinks were being flooded (you can see how deep it is by the ripples of the water off my footsteps) I also did not enjoy the broken air conditioners. Food: 2/5 They can't stack a simple Egg McMuffin, and when I received mine, my egg and ham was literally separate from the other cheesy muffin which kept falling apart when I attempted to put it together. Cleanliness: 1/5 Trashy, filthy dining hall. Mess everywhere with houseflies breeding as we ate. There were flies everywhere, around 20 in the dining room and even more in the kitchen, which is disgusting. Service: 2/5 Most of the workers there could not be older than me (14) and they were clueless on what they were doing. They left out our orange juice when we went for breakfast and when we asked about it, they denied that we bought it even when we showed them our receipt. Then, a manager came and cleared up the confusion, and gave us our drink. Location: 5/5 A fast food located next to a theme park with the tallest coaster in the world. Am I really reviewing a McDonald's?? Gasp. Yes I am, because this is close to and a perfect goto spot for kids before or after spending a day at Six Flags or Hurricane Harbor. After closing Hurricane Harbor, all day in the sun, the kids/ boys wanted burgers. I searched nearby diners on Yelp and voila - McDonald's came up . I laughed, told the boys and they were giddy about visiting a McDonald's because they never do, hadn't been to one in years. They ordered happy meals with the larger portions of nuggets and apple slice add ons - had fun reliving their kindergartener / little boy days of happy meal joy and excitement of a prize... had a great time. Waiting for food, they briefly went Mia and I found and quickly had them leave the cute little enclosed playground area with a slide / tube - great for little kiddies ... Counter Servers were very friendly. Lots of laughs and a great wrap up after a long day at one of the nearby theme parks. read more

I've been to California Six Flags as a season pass holder and this park is probably the best one yet, but you know their food still costs an arm and a leg for deep-friend, thawed-out frozen food and a pound of sugar with cotton candy, churros, soda and dippin dots. This Mickey D's had a decent sized parking lot and a drive-thru. If you're trying to enjoy some pleasures of the Golden Arches but don't want to overdo it and throw it up while on Batman, this adult orders the cheeseburger Happy Meal. And since I don't normally drink soda, the child-size serving was perfect. This was the spot where I first tried their vanilla soy latte. Eh, not as good as Starbucks but it woke me up a bit. For some reason they don't have the salads McDonalds usually has, only have calorie ridden Caesar salad so I bought an artisan grilled chicken sandwich which was pretty gross. They messed up and got my kid the wrong gender happy meal even after asking twice. My family split a small strawberry shake which tasted funny as though the syrup to ice cream ratio was off. I went inside and asked for a new one that tasted a little better without any hassle. I am glad I ate before I went inside because it's really dirty, the floors, the tables everything needed a cleaning. We used the bathrooms and I have been to some disgusting bathrooms but this one wins the award. This location has decent food and it is extremely busy with transient traffic since it's on the way to Great Adventure. That said, management needs to look at the cleanliness of the place. Of course some people are total savages and can't clean up after themselves, but I really didn't see staff staying on top of cleaning tables after people left either. The soft drink area was a total catastrophe and liquid/ water everywhere. Food and service were good and the employees were friendly; that's why I gave three stars. Absolutely terrible. Wouldn't allow anyone in after 9:30 even though they close at 10pm. I desperately had to use the restroom and the refused to let me in the door. Told me to use the drive thru when i asked to use the restroom. Absolutely ridiculous. The service was amazing, they were kind and welcoming with a smile the second we walked into the door. The flies do come around here and there but nothing too alarming. As a customer in the community the only thing I hate is during the 6 flag season they remove mostly everything from the $1 menu and then add it back once the season is over but BK does the same or increases the price on the value menu until the season is over. read more
