Salad $10.00 and full of, olives, garbanzo beans, greens, red onions, just enough, and fresh Parmesan cheese along with a yummy vinaigrette. Diced tomatoes too. I was very happy with the attention to detail, excellent service and wonderful food for my wife's celebration of life event on July 19th at Enzo's Bistro in Issaquah, WA. This was an important event with very close friends, so I wanted it to go well. Sarah Barnes (event manager) was patient with all my pesky questions and made extra effort to come up with a wonderful, limited menu. Sarah had her graphic designer work up a customized lunch and dessert menu, which was an unexpected surprise. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the waitress Danielle was super easy to work with. I went there with my wife and my in-laws and everybody really enjoyed the meal. The service was great and the cocktails were well above average for Issaquah. We sat outside on the patio and it was the perfect evening weather. I had the seafood fettuccine for the second time there and everything is cooked perfectly. We came to Enzo's Bistro & Bar for dinner, and it was a great experience. The staff was terrific despite being busy, and the food was divine. We started with the Antipasto Della Casa, which had house-cured salami, cheeses, pickled vegetables, and olives. The salami was delicious, and I liked how you could see the meat drying when you walked in. I had the Rigatoni Calabresi, which had house-cured beef and fennel sausage. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was AMAZING. I would order the Rigatoni Calabresi over and over again. My wife had the Carbonara Spaghetti and enjoyed it. We had the creme brulee, cannoli, and ice cream for dessert. All were great! This is a great place and I can't wait to come back. read more

Our server Danielle was great. The noise level this time was much better. We had a 7pm reservation but weren't seated until after 7:15pm. The place wasn't super busy so not sure why there was a bit of a delay- although a lady with two young kids without a reservation put up a fuss about having to wait and was seated before us. Don't come to a nice restaurant and have nothing with you to entertain your kids if you don't have a reservation. ‍ We had two plates of Arancini 3 on each plate for $10 seems a bit pricey. I know everyone is raising costs but at some point there needs to be a line that doesn't get crossed. I opted for the Ravioli Con Ricotta e Spinach and it was again tasty. We were traveling thru on an early Sunday evening around 3:30pm on our way home from a weekend filled with activities. We arrived well after the brunch service but before the dinner hour. They wanted to seat us in the bar area but we had one person under 21 so our party of five ended up getting a table in the empty main dining area. We had the place to ourselves; we felt special! Our server, Ryan, was over the top with his attention to our group. He was well versed in the menu items and the wine/bar list. Super welcoming while enjoying his job. We shared some appetizers of fresh bruschetta and cavolini croccanti = brussel sprouts with a tasty basalmic and a crispy fried onion topper. We have a non-meat eater in our group and the menu was well balanced with lots of options. Everyone in our group raved about our choices of main entrees; we couldn't resist sampling each other's items. Spaghetti con polpettine, spaghetti puttanesca, rigatoni calabresi (sausage was dynamite), and pepperoni pizza. Let's not forget the bietole; the best beet salad I've ever had. Our veggie daughter was brought some special garlic bread to go along with her pasta and a fresh caesar salad with homemade croutons. We all shared a creme brulee for dessert that was flamed tableside. We had a fantastic & entertaining experience at the end of our day that started early. Service is great here but I really miss the quality that existed when this was Pogacha. The space nice and they have just about everything that would make a great restaurant....except good food. Tonight, I dined with 5 other ladies, hoping for some delicious Italian food. Instead, the rigatoni with sausage was cooked way too long (mushy noodles) and the sausage was petrified and tasteless, the brussel sprouts were supposed to have a balsamic glaze and they were bitter and tasteless, my friend's daughter waited forever for fettuccine Alfredo and when it finally came out (after all of us had gotten our food) it was not hot. The crème de la creme for me was the rotisserie Cobb salad that I ordered. It was a complete joke. There was literally less than 1 oz. of cold chicken on the side of my tiny salad, the pancetta was crunchy and chewy at the same time, there were no "marinated tomatoes" on it and there was no flavor to the salad at all. This restaurant needs help immediately because either the staff doesn't care or the owner doesn't. It's clear in the extreme lack of pride or care they put into what could be a delicious menu. This is my second time coming here since it changed from Pogacha and it was exactly the same the first time so I will definitely NOT be back. Sad to have wasted a dinner out with my girlfriends on this place. read more

Went to Enzo's last night for the first time. Service was very good. We had the Caesar salad, the meatball appetizer, a pizza, the Rigatoni Calabesi, Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti with meatballs. Raspberry Italian soda and a decent Sangiovese. The meatball app was very good. The salad was very nice, the sourdough bread service was nice. The chicken parm was great. The Calabresi was a little disappointing. The sausage was almost flavorless, and very over cooked, this is because it was so overcooked. The pizza was crisp and well flavored. Enzo's is one of those places that always feels like a win. The happy hour is great, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. The servers make great , honest recommendations. The Constantina pizza is a favorite of mine, especially when ordered well done, and the Vodka Penne pasta comes in a portion that's just right. The Pappardelle Bolognese is another standout, with a rich, bold red sauce that makes it memorable. Their wine selection is excellent and pairs beautifully with the food. If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be to go lighter on the oil with the bread, but that's a minor note in an otherwise excellent dining experience. read more

Came in with 3 other people about an hour before close. We called ahead to make sure they were open and were told they could seat us. From the start the server seemed annoyed we were there and rushed us the entire time. Never checked on us, forgot the bread, and took our check before we were even ready (and before close) just to push us out. She kept serving what looked like her friends behind the bar, was vaping behind the bar, and repeatedly used the word "ghetto," which was uncomfortable. This is probably the 4th time we have eaten at Enzo's. The first couple of times were just average but my husband was craving Italian food and we were in Issaquah so we decided to try Enzo's again. It was early on a Sunday night so it wasn't busy. I think when we dined there, there were only 3 other tables in the dining room where we were seated. We liked the booth table that they gave us as the seats are generously sized and comfortable. We ordered a Caesar salad, spaghetti with meatballs, penne vodka, and the polpette e ricotta pizza. It was nice that they brought a loaf of warm bread with balsamic vinegar and oil. The Caesar comes with anchovies which we asked for on the side since my husband is the only one that eats them. The salad didn't appear to look dressed to me but when we ate it, it was perfectly dressed and not swimming in dressing. Our favorite dish was the penne vodka and there was sauce leftover so we used the bread to clean the plate. The pizza was thin crust. It wasn't heavy at all and very tasty. The service was great and my family and I gave it a solid thumbs up. read more

We had food here as a private party. Appetizers included arancini, olives, and bruschetta. Main entrees were choice of 4 different pastas: Spaghetti Puttanesca Penne Vodka Fettuccine Alfredo Pappardelle Bolognese Bruschetta was good and probably the only good thing that night. Bread was very crispy and tomatoes had a lot of flavor. Arancini was bland and the rice was thick and dry. Olives were as expected. None of the pasta was very good. Out of the four, the penne vodka was okay. The tiramisu was okay. The alcohol in the ladyfingers was too strong for me, and a tad too soggy. read more

I may be dating myself but I was a huge fan of the television show, Quantum Leap starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. Scott Bakula played a character Sam, who traveled through time inhabiting the bodies of random folks and must right a wrong. I didn't plan on being at Enzo's this particular Sunday night and rightful so especially spectacularly injuring my calf muscle while rolling garbage cans down a steep driveway down to the street. Like Sam, I found myself injured, disorientated, and sitting in Enzo's with my companion who was completely unaware that I had a severe sprain in my calf muscle. I was hoping for some insight from my companion as to what I could eat as a vegan in a Bistro and Bar that was, how should we say, not very vegan friendly. I didn't travel only as I had a backup in my pocket. More on that later. There was a Sunday night football game on and the Steelers were holding the Chiefs to a zero score in the 1st quarter but everything was going to change in a matter of minutes. Our server, Kaylyne was super friendly and did her best to deal with my companion's constant flirting. When I informed her of my vegan lifestyle, she was completely understanding and helped me pick out a salad minus the cheese and the croutons. When I told her I brought my own cheese, she replied, 'Your own cheese?' I said, "I have a vegan parmesan wedge and cheese grater in my pocket." As one can imagine, my companion, started laughing hysterically and all the, " are you happy to see me or is that a cheese grater in your pocket' jokes were flying furiously. Kaylyne lKaylynalong with us and admitted that she was attempting to reduce her dairy intake. I let her know that I would grate some parmesan cheese for her when our order arrived. My salad did arrive veganized with some very tasty balsamic dressing along with some olives The pain in my left calf muscle was searing and I adjusted myself many times when I looked up at the football game. the Steelers were now down by 28 points to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kaylyn returned with a side dish and I prompted took my grater and freshly grated some of the Violife Parmesan into her dish. The shreds tumbled ever so gently and like snowflakes and they started to accumulate into a nice fluffy pillowy pile. My salad was good and like the football game, the olives were not great but the star of the evening was Kaylyn. She told me that in all the years of waiting on tables, i.e. serving, she never had a customer grate cheese for her. I'm not sure if I'll travel back to Enzio's but for that one random moment, she made a hungry and hurt customer, feel good and laugh. For that one moment in time, I know she'll never forget the odd man who grated a vegan wedge of parmesan for her on that Sunday night in January of 2022. read more

The rotisserie chicken was flavorful. Parking was ample on Friday evening as well. The only thing that kept me out of the whole experience is that they did not offer complementary bread with olive oil as starters. We arrived with a reservation and had to wait. Hostess was busy on phone. Then we showed our proof of vaccination but then a new hostess came and we needed to show again? It seemed like the front staffing was just not coordinated or dealing with another issue? Getting seated took too long. Getting food took too long. We were also seated quite close together and the booth next to us seemed like regulars and lots of opinions but it just all felt and tasted too meh. Our waitress was very sweet and really was trying her best but it seemed like the kitchen was slow or messed up on orders. Im not sure but she then gave us a pizza on the house to go. Wish it would have been something we ordered though vs one we couldnt eat with meat on it? Didn't have any wow moments flavor wise. This restaurant is where the Pogacha used to be on Gilman Blvd. There's indoor and outdoor seating right now. We made a reservation online on OpenTable for lunch yesterday. The parking lot appeared full when we first pulled in, but there's actually a ton of spots in the back! We were seated at a booth inside. I ordered the penne vodka and added meatballs to it, and I liked the soft pasta! Unfortunately, they don't have a complimentary bread basket and my pasta didn't come with any bread, so I had a ton of sauce leftover. My mom got the roticceria bianco funghi pizza which she enjoyed. The lunch menu was a bit expensive considering the portion sizes, but I'd go back to try the dinner menu. read more

Go for Happy Hour versus Dinner. I had the arancini when I came for Happy Hour which was delicious and surprisingly filling. It was really busy and loud in the bar though so it was difficult to have a conversation. At dinner I had the Pappardelle Bolognese. I enjoyed the flat pasta and the topping was flavorful and meaty. After eating a few bites though, it started to taste a little too salty for me. My friends got other pasta dishes which they enjoyed. They didn't think their food was overly salty. Dinner area has comfy booth seating and a lodge like vibe which made me feel like I was on vacation. It's hard to find good Italian in this area. I would go back for HH if someone wanted to go, but probably not dinner. read more

Pains me to do this, but it's warranted. We have been loyal to Enzo's since they opened. We remained loyal through major changes to the menu, staffing, management, etc. The last 4 times we have gone have been horrific experiences and we will not be coming back. We had even taken a bit of a hiatus after the last few incidents and were excited to come back and try again and last night was the breaking point for us. Even the 6 month break didn't seem to be enough to see notable improvement. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and difficult to chase down. The food was nowhere near the quality it used to be. We always order two staple items and both items were made completely wrong and missing add ons we had requested. Really unfortunate as we had recommended this place to all of our friends and family and they have also stated their recent experiences have been horrific. I had emailed the manager in the past about the experiences with zero responses, I think we are done trying to make it work. read more

My husband loves Italian, so I thought I would take him to Enzo's for brunch. I made reservations, we made the 40-minute drive, arrived, and sat within a few minutes. The atmosphere is cute. The cleaning of the glass on the doors is awful. Our waitress was not happy, cheerful, or welcoming. We ordered food, and their calamari and banana peppers were delicious. My husband ordered their breakfast lasagna and liked it. I took a bite of my pizza, and all I tasted was a burnt taste. I turned my pizza slice over, and it was black. I have eaten a lot of wood-fired pizza and never had it be all black on the bottom. I let the waitress know, and she asked if I wanted something else, and I declined. No apology or anything. I got our bill, and they credited me the pizza with "did not like." I guess this might be the way their pizza is always served. I had read some recent negative reviews and decided to go still. I wish I had listened to those other reviewers and gone elsewhere. I would not return or recommend Enzo's. read more

Great Italian place in Issaquah. The inside is your classic American Italian decoration vibe. Lots of seating but it does get busy during dinner so either rsvp or come early. Parking is okay. They are also open for holidays so that's a plus if you don't feel like cooking. I recommend the calamari fritta, arancini , and bruschetta for appetizers. For entrees I recommend the linguine vongole,veal saltimbocca ,and the miele d'inverno pizza (YUM). The pasta noodles are made fresh in house. read more

The food was pretty mid, it was slightly disappointing. We've been here a couple of times before and both the food and service were better. The rigatoni was kind of clumpy and the sauce was overly sweet, although the sausage was spicy and tasty. The appetizer of olives was overpriced and bland, the antipasto plate has definitely shrunk - the meat and cheese seems to be half of what it was a year ago (which is a shame, it's good). The service was indifferent. Ambiance is good, can't go wrong with the wood "supper club" look really, but the bar is too hot when the fireplace is on. We asked for another appetizer, but they kept forgetting to bring it. The ceaser salad, on the other hand, came with the wine, although we asked to have it with the main course. My hubby's drink and pasta dish were misplaced as well... but we were too tired and hungry to wait for replacement. The carbonara was very lame and not as rich as we are used to from other places. Ok, so I'm pretty sure this place either bought out the prior restaurant OR ... rebranded? I can't figure it out but either way the pizza here is BOMBBBBB! Me & one of my besties frequented here for lunch during the week. The service is quick enough to get an entire lunch in easy during an hour work break. I've tried several of the personal pizzas and they're ALL amazing! Happy hour was always a win too! I am surprised this place has bad reviews because I've visited here QUITE a bit, for lunch but also for dinner as well, and I don't think I ever had less than a great experience.
