I was here bout a month ago and get to try chef Moses buffalo wings. They are delicious and his pizza was amazing!!

As a lifelong Issaquah resident, it's sad to see such disregard for an Issaquah historical establishment. The 'new' owners have no trust in the employees who have ran the place for them for years (now let go or gone at the same time), or for the loyal customers, dj's, bands, cooks, or for the generations of people residing in Issaquah who see the Log as a nostalgic, historical landmark. I can only hope they sell and someone else keeps the place as it once was and should always remain. Thank you to Julie, Shawn, Meagan, Michelle, and so many others over multiple, multiple decades for making the Log special. *Edit* Sadly, things at The Log have gone from bad to worse. The person in charge of the Google account and reviews quit after expressing disappointment in the owners' choices. Once Roger and Edna took over, they impulsively rage responded to the multiple one star reviews and then deleted their own insulting responses. My review won't post for some reason. Curious. The repetitive attack on the intellect of customers is a representative of how they truly feel about their clientele and staff - the dismissed, unreliable staff who dealt with their liquor orders, beer orders and reps, pulltabs, bands, karaoke, food orders, customer management, and ran their business for years. According to the owners, being an electrician is a lowly career and invalidates an opinion. According to their responses, no one can possibly have any idea about how to run a business, despite the fact the employees have been running their business for years. It's clear they believe the people who have aided in their success, both staff and clientele are low IQ individuals. My dad once sat around this bar in the 1960's before he passed, with a spittoon at his feet, daring his softball comrades to eat hotdog buns out of the murky waters. He told stories of running by the door as a child. I found my history within those doors. There is no part of me that wants to see this bar fail or or disappear, as it IS Issaquah history for myself and for so many others, but I can't condone or ignore the insults directed at their very bread and butter. Go there, enjoy, but know you're putting money in the pockets of those with no loyalty or humility or understanding of the deep history of Issaquah. Know in their eyes you have no worth or value beyond your dollar. Know if you work there and have spent years being faithful, they don't care. Hopefully, The Rolling Log will sell to someone who doesn't degrade and insult the very people who built it and keep its lifeblood alive.

It's been a hot minute since we have eaten in so this review is for the pizza and dip we've ordered…read morea couple times recently for takeout. We have placed the same order of a pizza (1/2 luxeroni and 1/2 arcade supreme) + the artichoke dip which comes with grilled bread. The pizza is fantastic and holds up well even after a 7ish min car-ride. The pizza crust is the perfect thickness (slightly more substantial than thin) and tastes great the next day too (air fry it!). We are combo pizza topping lovers so can't ever go wrong with the supreme but we have also loved the luxeroni which has a slight kick. The artichoke dip is what Pete the Cat would say is "groovy" and "out of this world". I haven't had anything like it before and it is definitely a favorite. It's pricier than ordering from a chain but worth it to us.

First, I will say that overall I would definitely go back; the next time I KNOW what to change…read moreabout our order! First, the food was good: the chicken was the best out of everything we ordered - garlic honey wings with enough for four people to share! Honestly, we didn't need the salad, and it wasn't anything - just some romaine & croutons with dressing on the side - i guess I expected a little more for a Caesar salad. The pizza was good, and props for offering half and half option! But DEFINITELY order the pizza EXTRA CRISPY, because we didn't, so the crust was "just okay", even a little bit soggy for my taste. The people were GREAT; it's absolutely worth going back for how friendly and nice they were, keeping it clean even if you have to go up and order at the counter first: NOTE: they need to update the beer menu on the QR because it doesn't match what's available so we had to go back to the table a few times to get it right. Good TV monitors so it's a good sports bar; I wonder if there are multiple games on (like baseball or Sunday, if they will play multiple sports? It was obviously FIFA, and everyone was watching, but what if there are other types of fans? Hopefully they take that into consideration. It's a good, well lit, spacious place and I'd be happy to go again.

Ah man- I had hope for dinner last night! I had been to Well & Table once before and had a lovely…read moremeal and cocktails with a friend outside in the sun. Unfortunately, that was not the case last night. :( Service was great and really like decor of the place. It was pretty busy so it got pretty loud in the restaurant, but I can roll with that. Cocktails were good (Aperol Spritz, anyone?) but the food was meh. Had a brie starter and it was meh. Ordered the artichoke lasagna and it was meh. Companion had potato leek soup and said it was not very good. I don't know if I would come back here for the food but I could probably be talked into a return visit when the sun is out and I can sit on the patio and have a drink.

It was a gorgeous day, so we decided to stop in for happy hour and enjoy the outdoor seating. They…read morehave two separate deck areas -- one connected to the bar and another on the restaurant side. We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. We were impressed enough to stay for dinner afterward. We ordered the burger and the Greek salad with chicken after learning they were out of prawns. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size. Service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive, and by around 7 p.m. on a Friday, the restaurant had become quite busy. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great patio ambiance, solid food, and warm service.
