The running joke with my family is this is the poor man's world travel. Disney did an excellent job recreating the lands of different countries and giving you a feel for what Americans believe every country looks and feels like . They took the most touristy attractions of every country and made it into a showcase . It is still a lot of fun to walk around the world and try the different foods . Even as a kid, I found it very entertaining and informative. This is my favorite Disney theme park and one that I like to go back to once every year. The main showpiece of Epcot! All of the pavilions are so cool and so well done. I love that there's food at each one related to the country, and their associated characters. It's a ton of walking, especially if you want to thoroughly do the pavilions- so make sure you are wearing your most comfortable walking shoes. During various visits we've indulged in restaurants and snacks in Mexico, Canada, France, UK, US, and China. My favorites are the quick service options in China and UK, or the pop up booths during festivals. EPCOT World Showcase consists of 11 nations situated around the beautiful World Showcase Lagoon. It's a unique experience--like traveling the globe just by walking around the water. Going clockwise from the entrance (starting left), the pavilion order is: 1. Mexico 2. Norway 3. China 4. Germany 5. Italy 6. The United States (The American Adventure) 7. Japan 8. Morocco 9. France 10. United Kingdom 11. Canada While there are 11 today, only nine were there on opening day in 1982. Morocco was added in 1984, and Norway was the final addition in 1988. Our recent highlights: * Takumi-Tei (Japan): An incredible high-end omakase experience. * Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros (Mexico): A charming, often overlooked boat ride. * Remy's Ratatouille Adventure (France): A fun, immersive 4D trackless ride. * Le Cellier Steakhouse (Canada): Excellent steak in a cozy "cellar" atmosphere. Some of my wife's favorites: * Boulangerie Pâtisserie des Halles (France): Iconic bakery tucked in the back of the pavilion. * Plume et Palette (France): A beautiful shop featuring French perfumes and designer bags. * Kringla Bakeri og Kafe (Norway): Famous for School Bread and Norwegian pastries. * The Fjording (Norway): A massive gift shop where you can find the Laila perfume and the giant troll statue. * Reflections of China (China): Breathtaking Circle-Vision 360° film. Note: This was supposed to be replaced by Wondrous China in 2020, but was postponed indefinitely due to the pandemic. * Mitsukoshi Department Store (Japan): A massive store filled with everything from Pokémon to traditional kimonos. And in general, just walking around and admiring the different buildings (from the Temple of Heaven in China Pavilion to the old-world cottages in United Kingdom Pavilion) and architecture styles is fun. There's just so much to do. You could spend an entire day just in this area of EPCOT alone, and it's just one of four areas. World showcase was my favorite part of spending the day in Epcot. It includes pavilions/sections of 10 different countries. Each of them had some rides, food and drinks stalls, and gift shops. Each pavilion's food and drinks shops were super busy, with waiting line up to 10-15 minutes. Among the pavilions, Norway, Italy and UK were my favorites. Frozen ride was in Norway pavilion. They also had incredible body wash and lotion in their shop. They also lots of viking themes items. Italy had very nice products in their shops. China and Japan's gift shops were huge. Took me 10-15 minutes just to walk around the whole store. In the Japan pavilion, they also had the temple gate lined up to the Epcot globe. They also have a tram ride next other the Canadian pavilion that goes the island in the middle of the pond. It took us several hours to stop at each pavilion, check out each of their offerings and gift shops. We did a lot of shopping from different ones. Prices were little high understandably so. I also tried the chicken tikka curry and lasso from one small Indian stall. It was pretty good actually, and the price was surprisingly cheap. read more

I personally feel this is one of the best experiences and a must do. I never liked Epcot as a kid, but as an adult, I appreciate it so much! I love walking around and stopping at each country. Where else can you travel the world in one day??! Nowhere! Each pavilion is detailed very well. They each have unique experiences that make each stop different. A huge highlight for me is the food and drinks of course. I'm a foodie at heart and I love experiencing foods and beverages of different cultures. Where else can I do that all in one place?? Nowhere ! Where else can I have fish and chips, sushi and tacos all in one day?? Absolutely nowhere! I also love the live entertainment the pavilions have. Can't forget shopping either! Love experiencing this over and over again. It never gets old! read more

I really enjoyed walking through this section. Located in the Epcot Center area, the World Showcase is a display and celebration of history, culture and cuisine from different parts of the world. With the World Showcase Lagoon at the center, take a stroll along the pedestrian walkway where there are 11 countries highlighted to experience food, architecture and way of life. The World Showcase is Walt Disney's United Nations -- except instead of endless speeches, you get tequila shots in Mexico and school bread in Norway. It's a 1.3-mile loop of cultural diplomacy by way of food stalls, souvenir shops, and Cast Members who are actually from the countries they're representing (a detail that makes the whole thing feel authentic, even when you're drinking frozen beer in China). History lesson: when EPCOT opened in 1982, this was the centerpiece. Walt had dreamed of an actual experimental community, but after his death the Imagineers did what Disney does best -- they built a fantasy. Eleven permanent pavilions, each its own little world. No passports, no jet lag, just a leisurely stroll from Paris to Tokyo in under 10 minutes. The kind of world Walt wanted, only with a lot more churros. The architecture is stunning in that Disney-way where everything feels simultaneously real and too perfect. Morocco's tiles were literally handcrafted by Moroccan artisans. Germany's square feels like Oktoberfest bottled into a postcard. Italy has gondolas -- because why the hell not? And France? France delivers pastries that will make you question why you ever gave Starbucks a dime. It's also a drinking game disguised as cultural enrichment. Everyone knows about "drinking around the world" -- 11 countries, 11 drinks, and the kind of next-morning regrets usually reserved for college spring break. The difference? Here you can do it while watching a fireworks show choreographed to an international choir. Bourdain would've loved it -- not because it's "authentic," but because it's human: people laughing, eating, drinking, sharing something together. Food is the real star. Sushi in Japan that's shockingly good for a theme park. Fish and chips in the UK that taste better because you're eating them next to a fake Tudor pub. Tacos in Mexico that pair perfectly with the strongest margarita on property. Is it all overpriced? Absolutely. But for a few hours, you're a jet-setter without leaving Orlando. Bottom line: The World Showcase isn't about accuracy -- it's about aspiration. It's a love letter to cultures, food, and architecture, all wrapped up in Disney optimism. The world showcase has aways been a highlight of Epcot for me. I love to wander each pavilion, talking with the staff, eating the food and being transported from one country to another all in one day. My favorites were always China, Germany and Morocco. It does get quite crowded as the day progresses, but take it slow or you'll miss the detail of each spot. read more

FYI - Google the stories of how these countries were selected to be featured at EPCOT. The World Showcase is a unique opportunity for countries to highlight their culture and architecture and introduce unique food and flavors. Most of the pavilions succeed as cultural ambassadors for their countries but others seem locked in dated cliches. Our favorites include: Germany (shops), United States (Voices of Liberty and Portraits of Courage gallery), Japan (shops and taiko drum show), France (food and Ratatouille ride) and United Kingdom (gazebo garden, food and shops). The Canada Pavilion and its panoramic film evoke memories of our vacations to Canada - the front garden reminds us of Butchart Gardens and the totems takes us back to Stanley Park in Vancouver. read more

Note: I'm writing this review for the fireworks show in the middle at the end of the night at Epcot! I'm not sure where the delineation begins and ends! For my reviews on Epcot as a theme park as a whole, they should be under the general "Epcot" name! As for the fireworks AND water show at Epcot, color me impressed! It doesn't have the beautiful backdrop of Cinderella's Castle the way that Magic Kingdom does, but it definitely holds its own! I haven't seen Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios, so I can only compare it to the Magic Kingdom fireworks, but I love that Epcot has both the fireworks AND a water show. It's honestly predominantly a water show, and it's so cool for that! They chose some truly great songs, trying to fit the theme of "around the world," and showcasing a bit of each of as many pavilions as they could and it was really well done! The Bellagio fountains in Vegas are quaking!! All in all, very delightful! Not sure if it was because of the humidity in the air of our day, it had rained a slight bit in the evening before the show, or just the sheer amount of water used during this show as well, but the fireworks did get quite a bit "smoky" and lingered in the air, causing it to blur and look pretty clouded as the show went on, but still so enjoyable! I think it's definitely worth staying until park close to catch this. There are so many prime viewing opportunities as well since it's in the center of the park, so you'll never be hurting for a good spot to catch it all in! read more

I like EPCOT World Showcase! You've got some 11 countries/country groups represented. You've got quick service and sit down meals at each "country." You've got some sort of activity or attraction at each country except... maybe not? I think a few places, like Italy, were more about walking around a courtyard and inside at the shops. Not complaining... exactly. It would be nice if the Venice building of Italy were opened and you could go up in the tower or at least walk in the Doge's Palace area. Not sure what they do up there now or whether they did anything with the space before. World Showcase tends to get more active at night w/ adults having a good time, so consider exploring World Showcase earlier in the day and then make your way to the science/future stuff in the front of the park. read more

You can experience so much in a day here and will need more than a day or you will be rushing through this park. We visited Epcot on 1/24. It was very crowded even though it was freezing cold. I liked it better when people didn't bring kids here, especially in strollers. But the food vendors they had for the art show were terrific. We started with a watermelon margarita which was amazing and a peach slush champagne which was delicious. And followed with a personal Brie cheese bowl, a donut of sushi, an empanada, and a deconstructed key lime pie. I couldn't eat or drink anymore after that but I did try my daughter's grilled cheese which was banging. Looking forward to eating and drinking Our way around Epcot soon! read more

Talk about an experience. Legit only complaint is that I thought it might not be mid 90's the end of September but I was wrong. We worked out way around the park I believe starting in Mexico, I got a margarita and taco. We got drinks at almost every stop along the way. Again circling back to how hot I was getting the alcohol wasn't sitting well so I slowed it down and took in all the sites for a bit. We did get food to snack on from a couple of places along the way. Could not get the beef and potato thing from Berlin I believe and also save myself from the driest Mickey pretzel. I didn't see that being dry as they are usually flying off the shelf?? Oh don't forget to get a turkey leg to share that sucker is huge! read more

Epcot (Orlando) WORLD SHOWCASE This was my favorite part in Epcot! Epcot featured pavilions from eleven countries around the world: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Morocco, France, UK, and Canada. Where else can you experience 11 countries in roughly 1.2 miles, which is the actual distance around Epcot's World Showcase lagoon. You will not find thrill rides here so don't look for those type of attractions in World Showcase but immerse yourself and do enjoy movies, boat rides and shows that will give you an overview of the country you're in. We spent most of our time exploring here. We started in Canada and worked our way around. The attraction is centered around a 40-acre lagoon. I enjoyed transitioning from one country to the next learning about their cuisine, culture, heritage, and history, while enjoying the arts and entertainment, architecture and authentic buildings and backdrops. By the time we got to the 11th country (Mexico) I was tired but it was cool to discover some hidden gems in every country. It inspired me and the hubby to travel abroad some day. For now hubby and I enjoyed walking the grounds of the pavilions. So much to say about each country but I'd be writing all night. There were also character meet and greets in the countries that inspired their stories: Anna and Elsa in Norway; Alice (in Wonderland) and Mary Poppins in the UK; Snow White in Germany; Mulan in China; Princess Aurora and Belle in France; and Princess Jasmine in Morocco. Went here during their food and wine festival and tried what felt like at least half of the offerings. This was such a fun experience! Nothing was over $10, so it was super affordable. In total we tried 25 different dishes from every country. Most things were very good, but whoever cooked the rice for most of the countries did not know how to cook it, is was dry and not cooked throughly. "Any world that I'm welcome to" (Steely Dan) We spent most of our visit to Epcot at their World Showcase park. It's shaped like a big horseshoe, running around a pretty lagoon. We strolled through the pavilions representing eleven countries that shared the culture, dress, and food of their people. Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada were represented here. Some of our highlights were a terrific film about Canada narrated by Martin Short, the beautiful grounds around the France pavilion, the very cool model trains running on an elaborate course outside the Germany pavilion, a terrific exhibit on Kawaii culture (it celebrates "cuteness") in Japan, and the mythology heavy Norway pavilion (with a big gift shop custom made for your Anna and Elsa fans). We had a very good lunch in the China Pavilion at Nine Dragons, their sit-down restaurant. You'll have to wait for 11:00 am for the exhibits to open. Our visit was very relaxing and we really had no issues with big crowds or waits. Granted, there aren't a lot of rides here, but there was plenty to do and some great things to see. read more

I was born in NY, raised in FL. I visited many theme parks back in the day. Although did go on a few roller coasters they weren't ever really my thing. Back then Epcot was my favorite theme park. Many moons later it remains my favorite theme park. Went here yesterday w/ a friend. When I first went to Epcot I was young. I hadn't traveled that much yet appreciated the world showcase for glimpses into the cultural of our tiny planet. Years on as an older gentleman can appreciate still the world showcase. The length of the peripheral of the world showcase is 1.2 miles around a lake so add more mileage if you go further in to explore each country. This time the majority of our time at Epcot was spent checking out some of the countries including Morocco, France, Japan, & Italy. I have been to all of those actual countries w/ the exception of Morocco yet still appreciated going to these countries for the vibe, culture, food, & energy. Each country has workers from the respected country that wear a name tag w/ the city in the country they are from. The only actual ride we did was Spaceship Earth at the end before leaving. This ride took place inside the classic silver plated dome that you see when you walk in as the ride shows the history of our species from caveman to present day to our evolving future. It was good timing on our way out as we had no wait at all as when we entered there was a line at least 45 min long to go on the ride. It is impossible to see everything as we only saw a handful of countries during our full day trip. Best to pick & choose choosing quality over quantity as the adage goes "less is more". The adage "less is more" especially goes when enduring a full hot, humid day in a theme park. Don't try to see it all. Select a few things & savor them taking time to smell the roses. read more

World Showcase is Disney's entry into what was once the World's fairs. Spread around a large lagoon that features the nighttime show "Harmonious" the 11 countries surrounding it give you insight to the lifestyles and cultures of each of them. World showcase requires extensive walking. There used to be two boats taking you from what is called "port of entry" over to the far countries but now there is only one. Some of the countries do not offer attractions. They all however, offer shopping and some form of entertainment. Check the daily schedule for specific showtimes. The countries you visit are Mexico, Norway, China, "the outpost", Germany, Italy, American, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom and Canada. The "international gateway" with it's river serves as a reminder of the English channel. It is also a 2nd entry into the park for those staying at the EPCOT resorts. The original concept included the development of more countries but only Norway got added since its inception. The outpost is really only a small area where you can grab food and gifts. The most sought after attractions in World Showcase are Remy's ratatouille adventure in France and Frozen ever after in Norway. The only real downside is getting caught in one of those Florida rains especially when it thunderstorms. There are many wide open spaces here and it is very difficult to "run for cover." Be sure to pace yourself as you walk here. There has never been a time when I got away without a blister visiting this section of the park. It does have some unique dining both fast casual and sit down. If wanting sit down reservations then make sure to make them ahead of time on the My Disney Experience app. No trip to EPCOT would be complete without a visit to World Showcase. read more

I've been to the Wine & Food Festival before, but this was the first time with my adult son with some unusual life threatening food allergies. It was an awesome experience, made more fun by seeing his joy with the number of foods (and drinks) he could sample around the world. We are thankful that Disney is adding more plant based/vegan options to their menus -but even more pleased that he can fully enjoy events like this one knowing that Disney's attention to detail will keep him safe. I sampled many of his plant-based items, and they were delicious! He particularly liked the Impossible Sliders at Earth Eats and the Guava Mouse (and Mimosa Flight) at Shimmering Sips. I'm a full carnivore, so enjoyed the Mac & Cheese, Braised Beef and Gouda Mashed Potatoes in Belgium, crab cake in America and the Chocolate Cake with Irish Cream sauce in Ireland. World Showcase in Epcot is one of the best parts of Disney World, if not the best. Where else can you walk around the world in an hour!? Eleven countries are represented (and fingers crossed for more soon) and all situated around a beautiful pond. There is just so much to see & do with a couple of rides thrown in for good measure. I've broken down each individual country in separate reviews, and then gone into even more detail with each attraction, store & restaurants' own listing. Now I'm a food person, so my favorite part of World Showcase are the food booths. During Food & Wine Festival (Sept/Oct), Festival of the Arts (mid Jan-mid Feb) and Flower & Garden Festival (March-May) there are cut booths set up with food samples that change for each fest. I love going during all the fests to try new things in small sizes throughout World Showcase. Outside of the food booths, you can find the best dining in all of Disney World in World Showcase from the sit down fancy restaurants to quick service spots to bakeries - it's all fabulous! And then there's Drinking Around the World - yep, that's a thing and it's fun with a group of friends. On top of that, they often have great live music at the American Pavilion's stage! I saw Boyz II Men at one of the best concerts of my life at which they handed me a rose & I sang into the mic. Best free concert ever! World Showcase always opens at 11am which is a major bummer having to wait...but so it is. It's still super fun and a don't miss area! read more

Epcot is by far my favorite Disney park. As an adult who loves new cultures and experiences, I think this place is amazing. Even when a large number of people are in the park, it seldom seems crowded. While Soarin, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and Frozen Ever After are nice, we spend most of our time in the World Showcase. I like to hold hands with my husband and take our time to peruse all the fantastic details in each country feature. I think so many people just race round it without really looking and they miss so much. There is just so much to see-- gymnasts outside China, pastries at the Parisienne bakery, having a beer in Ireland. Speaking of food, this park has the best sit down restaurants of any of the four parks! There are so many fantastic restaurants in World Showcase that it puts the other three parks to shame-- Mexico, Italy (Via Napoli has best pizza on any Disney property), France, Morocco, and the British Rose and Crown are just a few of the treasures we've found. Each one takes you on a gastronomic odyssey to the country it represents. In Autumn, the Food & Wine Festival features 30+ kiosks around the World Showcase, each selling unique food items and small plates from a particular country. You can take small bites from everywhere on the planet, traveling vicariously through your palate without any pesky injections or TSA checks. Another treat is the Flower & Garden festival, which turns Epcot (already one of the most beautiful parks imho) into the most beautiful and vibrant with a series of well manicured gardens and gorgeous topiaries you just shouldn't miss out on. World Showcase also offers a different shopping experience than the other parks. If you're not in the market for more traditional Disney merchandise like T-shirts, pins, stuffed toys, and other souvenirs, you can find things at Epcot you'll wear and use on a far more frequent basis. Parfumerie at the French boutique, stalls outside the temple in Mexico, a huge market in China, a Moroccan bazaar and Venetian glass and masques in Italy are just a few places I found cool, unusual things I never knew I needed :-) read more

I have been to Epcot more times than I should have, in the last few years. And I never thought of writing a review of the world's showcase. This is by far my favorite area on all Disney parks. Especially the Japan Pavilion. I love mostly the different foods you can try throughout the park. I always have a great time when I come here. Things that are a MUST to try are some of the pastries in the France pavilion, as well tacos at the Mexican cantina, AND of course pretzels and sausage in Germany. LOVE IT!! read more

I love the world showcase! Mostly for the food and drinks though. I have visited all the countries in the past, and decided to give them all another visit. Not much has changed. Japan changed. And Norway is now all Frozen. Otherwise, same old same old. The food changes every year though, maintaining some favorites. The showcase opens late. It's roped off until 11! It is beautiful to go around and take pictures and enjoy the sights. I love how they have entertainment around every corner. There was live music in Germany, live music in Morocco, a magic show in China, etc. Beware- there are tons of bachelorette parties and cheerleaders etc. So, go with a good attitude, cuz you're bound to run into some large groups of people having a drunken good time. read more

Epcot is a fan favorite at Disney World and I have always enjoyed checking out the shops and different restaurants in this park. It's not my favorite just because I love the theming of the other parks better, but don't sleep on Epcot. The fish and chips are so tasty, I have to get them every time. My boyfriend and I tried drinking around the world once, but it got a little pricey and a couple of the drinks weren't worth it. However, it's a fun spot for adults. It's always fun to meet the cast members from each country. We've been during the Festival of the Arts when they have booths with fun food options, art installations and interactive pieces, etc. and that's fun. I would love to check out the Food & Wine Festival someday! read more

The World Showcase is awesome. 11 countries circling a lake with interesting things going on all around them. It is fun to explore and you do really need to explore to find all of the shops hidden around in all of the countries. Though I have been stuck on Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco I also have a longing to try some of the others -- perhaps on a future visit... The one thing I wish were possible was a cheaper Showcase only access point but this is Disney and I don't see that ever happening. The IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth show at the close of the park is worthwhile waiting around for and given the shoreline size around the showcase you have countless opportunities for a great viewing spot. read more

One day I want to just have an Epcot-only vacation. I think I could easily spend 3 days in Epcot, mainly because there is just so much to explore in the World Showcase. There are Disney elements everywhere of course, but it is still easy to forget that you are just "down the road" from Cinderella's Castle. The World Showcase takes you away from the fantasy and puts you in touch with parts of the world you may never have the opportunity to visit. I always forget just how big the Showcase is. I'm guessing based on the races I have ran through that it is between a mile and a mile and a half around. Keep this in mind if you are trying to see the whole world in a short amount of time. Walking takes time and Disney crowds will slow you down. I've had a few stressful sprints to make dining reservations on time. It is always bigger than I remembered. The countries blend together pretty seamlessly. Most have at least one retail shop with items from the country they are representing, one or two food options (usually 1 sit-down and 1 kieosk), and some areas have space dedicated to small performances throughout the day. If that country has a major landmark, there is probably a tribute to it somewhere in their section of the World Showcase. I love that you can eat your way around the world... or drink your way around if that is your style. I never really have the need to do any heavy shopping, but I do like trying out different candies sold in the gift shops throughout the World Showcase. There are several rides and attractions throughout the World Showcase. A few times a year this area hosts different art, wine, and food festivals. My annual trip has been falling right before the Flower and Garden Festival and I absolutely LOVE the Disney topiaries throughout the Park. My most recent trip overlapped with the Festival of the Arts as well- another really cool event that brought some unique culinary options. If food, drink, and culture isn't your thing, your visit to the World Showcase will probably be shorter and less memorable than mine. The World Showcase has 11 Countries' Pavilions. Iconic buildings and landmarks are recreated here. Great for pictures. You may learn about country's culture, food, merchandise, and history. Many of the workers in the countries are actually from those countries. To make the food authentic, native restaurant chefs are integral. One fun activity is to buy a World Showcase Passport Kit for $12.99. The kit has a passport, button, and stickers. You may take it to a designated stop in each country to have a cast member stamp your passport and write a message to you. During the Food and Wine Festival even more countries are represented with stands selling food and drinks. Please be aware the pricing for those items are high. It is a mile to walk completely around the World Showcase Lagoon. During my visit, a boat called the Friendship Boat ran every 15 Minutes between the World Showcase Plaza (the Canada side) and Morocco. You could walk faster than the boat ride, but it is Air Conditioned. Be sure to stay for the firework show. The best views of fireworks are from the shores of the World Showcase Lagoon. The show is outstanding, fireworks and other props are synchronized to music. It is a great way to end your visit to Epcot. Tip: Just be sure to check which way the wind is blowing so you are not inundated with smoke. read more

The World Showcase is the reason I come to Epcot. What could possibly be better than being able to experience 12+ cultures in one giant space?? I also like to call this area "Adult Disney." It's where the big kids can go to drink around the world. How many times can you say you started your morning with a margarita in Mexico and ended it with some champagne in France? Exactly. I am a huge foodie/alcohol enthusiast/wanderluster, so this area is just a dream for me. To name a few, some countries you will find include Italy, China, Japan, Canada, United Kingdom, and even America. Each pavilion has a restaurant or two that reflects on popular food items from each country, and some have attractions. One of my all time favorite events, the Food and Wine Festival is held at the World Showcase, which is an even better reason to visit this spot. It allows you to sample food and drink from each country, all while stamping your 'passport' to see how many you can go to. To add even more magic, you can find a lot of Disney characters roaming around, like Snow White in Germany or Alice in the UK. This is also where their firework spectacular is held every night, and is worth it to see! So yeah, the showcase is about 50% of Epcot anyways, but it just shows you all that this park has to offer. read more

Who doesn't love eating around the world? I suggest definitely not having lunch reservations and instead eating from the booths in different countries. The portions are small as they know people want to try lots of different foods. Love to visit each country and France is my favorite! read more

Stroll around the world in just over a mile EPCOT is one of the 3 major Florida Disney parks and the 7th most visited park in the world. As far as I know, it is the only theme park of its kind in the world. It has a few parts that make it truly unique. One is the 8 stories tall Spaceship Earth geodesic dome at the entrance and the other is the World Showcase. The showcase is the part that encompasses the various buildings representing 11 countries from around the world. Once you pass under the Spaceship Earth just keep going until you reach the lake. Left or right will take you in a circle. Every few hundred feet you will move from one country to another, From Canada to Mexico and many places in between, you traverse around the entire lake, 1.2 miles, and arrive back at your starting point. Each country has many sights to see and unique areas to explore. I recommend using the Disney app to explore the many interesting parts of the lake. Each year there are several festivals with extras to explore like Food and Wine and Flower and Garden shows. There are several rides at the park and a few of them are in the World Showcase like Ratatouille, Frozen, and the 3 Caballero's in France, Norway, and Mexico respectively. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the park to anyone wanting a once-in-a-lifetime experience. read more
