This place has some highs and lows. High - the razberry shake is highly legit. They have the old school mixer (the kind you see on re-runs of Petticoat Junction) and I am of the understanding the use real razberries which is an upgrade from the similar shake found at McDonalds. High - clean. Place is a little off but so is the entire town. I noticied one poster commented how the bathroom had no toilet paper. I did not inspect that situation. Low - Took 43 minutes to get the frickin' burger. The burger itself was plain, somewhat tasteless, and generally underwhelming. Burger is a two star situation. Fries were as expected from a town that basically goes out of business after Labor Day weekend. Gift shop analysis - I have no comment. Not the same stuff you find on Amazon though. Pro Tip - use the drive through. The staff is kids, nice and all but just not the brightest group, especially when some tour bus rolls in and the cashier forgot to send a bunch of tickets back to the line cook. That is when problems start. Summary - Eat here in a pinch. Stop in for the shake and cut your losses on the food.

This is a hamburger joint that serves milk shakes. Well not a good place they have tables but it is walk up order, pay, and wait for your food. On this day it was wait and wait. It took over 45 minutes to get two burgers and fries. And yes everything is a combo only burger, fries, and fries for one price. Fries were ok but burgers were very dry and way over cooked. The staff were very uncooperative and had bad attitudes. We won't be going back ever.

Everyone enjoyed the food. Service was great. Very busy but moved along nicely. The ambiance is very casual. We brought our family over to enjoy the lake. We got rained off the lake and ran in for a quick bite. My family from Vegas really enjoyed your burgers while I had chicken tender that were actually a whole breast, not the tender. I could only eat one. I brought the other 3 home and made 2 more sandwiches with them and the last one chopped into a chicken salad. The fries are even nice after reheating in my air fryer. It great to be see a place that is cool and people can bring their dogs in. We will see you again, I am sure!

MeatEater Burger with Pulled Pork Cheese Fries

It was my first time here for lunch with my husband, and the Meateater Burger is definitely in the Top 3 burgers we've ever had. The Pulled Pork Cheese Fries were on point, and is a great compliment to the burger. If we could rate it with "37 stars" we would. The staff and ambiance were pleasant, and Robert was extremely friendly and went above and beyond ensuring our burger was cooked exactly how we wanted it! We came just outside of the busy season, so we loved how empty it was with no crowds! #TasteOverHype

    Hamburger combo with fries/drink

I ordered the hamburger & fries combo. Hamburger was very generic, unseasoned. Fries were good. Things are too expensive here. The hamburger combo starts at $13.99 and goes up from there. My wife ordered a $16.00 4 chicken tender combo. Raspberry shake was delicious, but everything was simply too expensive for the quality of food that you get.

    Horrible

Horrible!!!! From time of order to food pick up 55 minutes. NOT busy at all. Had to clean our own table. Trash can over filled and spilling onto the floor. While spending more than one hour and a half not once did anyone come wipe or clean tables or anything he self serve drink area. Hamburger was raw, fries cold and stale, soda flat. Charged .50 for fry sauce cups. Just an absolute disaster. Raw burger, stale fries and flat soda for $14.49. Awful. Not to mention the trash and unclean tables.

Raspberry, blueberry & Huckleberry Shakes (they are thick)

Just here for the shakes... yummy !!! There was maybe a bit too ice creamy in my opinion. Huckleberry was the best for sure. Blueberry was on the sweeter side. Still a fun stop on a friend vacation. 12 women split 3 shakes... they were thick. Like eat them with a spoon.

Be patient as it takes a while to receive orders. They are known for their traditional danish Æbleskiver's which are essentially pancake balls. They have a variety of flavors and toppings, sweet and savory. They also have a lunch menu as well as breakfast items besides the pancake balls and an assortment of drinks, juices, coffees, housemade flavored waters. I got the beach babe water, very strawberry forward. I will try something different next time. The Æbleskivers were well prepared and my entire family enjoyed them. I'm not a big fan of pancakes, I prefer a crispy waffle. The stand out of our experience however was the friendly service from the woman taking our orders. She was so welcoming and talkative even though they were very busy. It was our first time here and she treated us like local friends. Once she spotted our dog she immediately searched for her dog treats and offered one. While we were waiting for our food I asked for a small cup of water for our dog. A minute later the woman who took our order walked out with a large, clean dog bowl filled with cool water. It really put a special touch to this darling place. Even though I dont even like pancakes we will return just because of the hospitality. BTW, check out the adorable shack filled with crystals, candles and lovely jewelry. You won't be disappointed!

I had no idea I was about to become completely jaded when it comes to cinnamon rolls! I ordered the caramel walnut cinnamon roll, and WOW. It was absolutely incredible. The roll was soft, warm, gooey, and covered with delicious caramel and walnuts. Every bite was ridiculously good. I honestly have no idea what they do differently here, but this cinnamon roll has officially become the standard that every other cinnamon roll will now have to compete against. The coffee was also a great addition and made this the perfect quick breakfast before starting our day at Bear Lake. I love finding local places like this when we travel, especially when something as simple as stopping for breakfast turns into one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Moose Buns has officially earned a spot on our Bear Lake must-visit list. From now on, whenever we're staying in Garden City, this will be my first stop in the morning. Bear Lake's Best-Kept Secret (That Apparently Everyone's Mad About?)…read more Let's get something straight: I've eaten at Bear Lake my whole life, and up until now, "dining out" here meant a basket of something fried in oil older than the lake itself. So when I tell you Campfire Grill made me remember what actual food tastes like, understand the weight of the statement. The margherita pizza comes out of the wood-fired oven blistered and glorious--like it's personally trying to make up for decades of regional culinary disappointment. The wedge salad's blue cheese has a faint smoky thing going on, dotted with tiny chives, and tasted like somebody in that kitchen has actually left the county before. And don't get me started on the wings: homemade buffalo sauce, still crispy, and not a hint of gas-station-regret afterward. Add giant open windows that turn the whole dining room into an al fresca reprieve, competent waitstaff, and you've got yourself an actual bona fide restaurant in a place that has subsisted on fry-baskets since one of the Roosevelt administrations. So, to the one-star crowd: I don't know what you were expecting. This isn't Salt Lake City. It's Bear Lake. And for Bear Lake, this is nothing short of miracle work.
