Victoria is an outstanding waitress. She is the best waitress I've experienced in Weld County. No one exceeds her service and care for the customer. Her personality makes up for any "Epic Egg" food shortcomings. Food was fine. Steak and eggs. She offered A1 , I prefer Heinz 57, but a well prepared steak needs no steak sauce. Came here for brunch for the first time today and was surprised to find a great patio in this strip mall location. They were fairly busy but we were seated right away. I wanted something I've never tried before and was torn between the chicken avocado melt, huevos rancheros, and flat iron skillet. Well, since I'm trying to eat healthier, I went with the chicken avocado melt. And even though I really wanted to rustic potatoes I went with the breakfast greens which were a spring mix with a vinegrette. I like the greens better than expected. The sandwich was good but the chicken was a little dry. I would recommend stopping here and if the weather's nice, try the patio! read more

Great food and waitress! Had a bit of a wait but our party was large so we expected that and really didn't wait too long. VaVa Victoria was an Amazing waitress! Our table was three separate checks 6 adults and three kids. Her attitude and attention to details were great. The food was amazing as well. Things to try... Boss Bacon!! Get the loaded potatoes with green chili! The deluxe French toast is huge and tastes amazing! Fun kids menu items too chocolate chip pancakes and boo boo pancakes!! The service was excellent... But we were pretty bummed with everything else. I ordered the Chilaquiles and they had the right idea...but the chips were beyond stale and rice was very overdone. My husband ordered an omelette and the eggs were super rubbery and overdone. We tried to end on a good note and order the "Boss Bacon" thinking it was just a thick cut bacon....but was a sugar-bomb overload! It was covered in maple sugar, syrup, and other stuff that made our stomachs grumble. If we had known what was actually on the "Boss Bacon" we would not have ordered it. I'm a pretty laid back consumer. I enjoy a nice breakfast meal and it's usually just my toddler and I. However, when my food is made incorrectly because of a server error and I end up having to wait an additional 8-10 minutes, I do expect some sort of customer service measure to be received. Instead what I got was my server asking "are you ok with that" when I told her that my sandwich was made incorrectly. No, I'm not. I'm not paying $12 for a breakfast sandwich only to have it made incorrectly. The item wasn't comped, nothing was done, and when I voiced my concerns to the server, she simply looked at me and then walked away. With the incredibly high price of eating out, customer service needs to be very important to servers and restaurants, because indeed what we consumers are paying for is the experience. Solid 4 stars bordering on 5 for both the food & the service. Treated myself this past Saturday morning to crab cake benedicts and loved every bite. Could've licked the plate clean. Michele L. who waited on me was quick on her feet & lovely to interact with. I watched her work the room with ease & such a pleasant smile. Great way to start my day! My only quibble is that the $11 quoted for the Imperial Benedict actually rang up as $14. Saw posts for this restaurant on line and thought we would try it out while visiting Colorado. Oh my goodness! Epic Egg is so worth visiting. The food was beyond the normal breakfast place, more than just eggs and toast. I had the biscuit and gravy, it was not doughy and there was sausage in the gravy! The loaded potatoes are delicious and loaded with flavor. My husband had the Barbarian and was very pleased with all the meat. Eggs were cooked to perfection! We tried the Boss Bacon and the cinnamon swirl pancake, super super good. Then add the flight of mimosas! We were a party of six and were seated at a super clean table, no sticky edges, the floors were clean! Our waitress was Jessica and she was spot on with her smile and service. I dont know where the chef learned to cook but my experience wasn't epic at all. I asked for my eggs over hard and the middle wasn't fully cooked. On top of that you have the waitress bring over your tab when you're halfway eating . Why would she do that ? I won't recommend this place to eat.. read more

Sharing two experiences ... as we were hoping the 2nd visit would be better (like to support local). However not the case and will not be going back a third time. On both occasions encountered fairly extreme nausea - our entire party did (9 on one occasion, 2 the 2nd visit)- within 30-45 minutes. Highly greasy and lacked flavors the food once had. I travel the country for work and visit a lot of restaurants. Breakfast is my favorite meal... My views are critical of good food and service along with cleanliness. This will be my third visit. First two visits were with my girlfriend, this visit I'm on my own. First two visits were very busy and we did have to wait for seating but not very long. Not very many people in the restaurant this visit and I was seated immediately. Very friendly people on all three visits. I rated 5 stars but would actually rate 4 and 1/2. I opted for five because of what I feel unfair reviews. I modified every order and all five meals between myself and girlfriend have been delicious and accurate. They have salsa available on the tables as well as for sale to take home. Very good I might add. Food was always delivered to the table in a timely manner, hot and fresh tasting. Refills were always provided on time and they leave a coffee kettle on the table for you. Coffee is delicious with plenty of creamer and sugar options. They even have cups to take some coffee with you on the road. The restaurant is clean and up kept, staff look professional and seem interested in the people visiting this restaurant. The only reason why I opted for a 4 1/2 star review is because this is a breakfast specific restaurant and the eggs could be cooked better. All five breakfast were omelets and they were not fluffy... they were also a little bit overcooked. I would highly recommend whipping eggs and adding heavy cream or half-and-half. They have a different menu that might throw off people who are use to the "same old same old" but they have similarities to their menu like the loaded potatoes which are to die for. Egg & I fans should not be disappointed. There are some new twists and turns in Epic menu, but seem to still hold same heart-felt style. I ordered the Whiskey Scrambler which was very reminiscent of the state named E&I dish. The potatoes now have a different seasoning that is more herbs and spices than before. It is delicious and a good update. The toast options now include croissants, but I stuck with an English muffin. The only other thing that was noticeably different was that the Smuckers jellies have been replaced with Dickenson's preserves. The strawberry was delicious. They are still in transition updating the decor and feel of the restaurant, and I look forward to seeing how it transforms. read more

This is a great breakfast joint. Whether you want savory or sweet they have you covered. Good chicken fried steak, great pancakes and awesome waffles. Service is good and the food came fast. They don't have hashed browns, only cut potatoes and although cut the same size, some of mine weren't cooked through and were a little hard. Today saturday July 20th was an epic failure. We were seated by the host (man) outside and left to sit. I went back in to see if we had a waitress after 15 minutes. A Jolene came out to take our order and coffee order and it took another 10 mins to get coffee. We asked for water and didnt get it till 15 mins after our food came out. We were there for 1 hour before we got food. It wasnt even busy inside! Then it took her 15 more minutes to get our checks. I dont think any of this was her fault. Let's start with the manager (performing hostess duties) with her mask looped on one ear and the other side hanging free; however, we were seated fairly quickly. Our interaction with our waiter began with him arguing with me about the caffeine level of dark vs light roast coffee. As we placed our drink order, we requested flavored creamer, which was finally brought to our table as our food was delivered (50 minutes after placing our order). During our wait, I inquired on three different occasions about the creamer and our appetizer and each time was told it would be right out. Finally our meals were delivered and I inquired once again about the creamer and appetizer. At this point, we were informed that they were out of the appetizer and the creamer was delivered about three minutes later. After the food was delivered, the manager did come over and apologize for the delay in our food and lack of appetizer. (She was now wearing her mask properly, at least.) However, as she was apologizing, I watched two couples that had been seated after us, pay their bills and leave. Our orders were both standard menu items with no changes and from what I could see were similar to what the other couples had. After the creamer was finally delivered, no one stopped by our table until it was time to drop off the bill. I've always had great experiences at the other Epic Egg (and previously Egg & I) locations, so we were beyond disappointed with this experience. read more

Food was wonderful. However this is NOT a COVID safe restaurant. I came here with my family for my graduation, my parents are both high risk. Not one staff member inside was wearing a mask so we asked to sit outside. I asked our waitress if she could wear a mask since my parents are both immunocompromised. She said yes, left to go get waters, and came back still not wearing a mask. She did not wear one the entire service, extremely unsafe and disrespectful. If you have high risk family or are actually trying to be a good person during this global pandemic, do not go to this Epic Egg location. read more
