The service was consistently friendly - from the person who welcomed us in and seated us, the person that brought us drinks, our waitress, and the young man that rung us up. We were given water right away and our server came over a few minutes later. We opted for the Club Trio and the Mile High Omelette. Both dishes were fresh and hearty. However I advise doing the payment on your phone because the front desk clerk took a long time to notice a few of us in line ready to pay with our checks. Came in for a relatively cheap breakfast on the weekend. The restaurant is a bit small, but very comfortable. The decor is nostalgic and entertaining. We were seated and brought our waters right away. Our server took a bit longer to come over. She was pleasant enough, but didn't seem too happy to be there. Our food came out relatively quick and was just okay - certainly nothing to write home about. It was a hot meal and that's about it. Our server never came back to check on us until it was time to drop off the bill. Thankfully the busser kept our waters filled. Not sure what is going on with restaurant service lately, but it's severely lacking and this was sadly just another example of it. Basically a "local" Denny's in my opinion. I've lived here 8 years and have driven by many times, but finally had a chance to go in. It's not a "club". It's just a name. No membership required! The interior decor is tired, but the food and service are popping!!! I don't mind the decor because unlike everywhere else these prices are a great value. Huge portions of really delicious food served hot, fresh, and with a smile. The average customer age is, how do I put this,...retired. Clearly this place has a loyal following. And after my first experience I'm now a huge fan. I would absolutely get the corned beef hash Benedict's again. Great flavors, and not as heavy as it looks. I was very full. My friend could not finish their huevos rancheros. It was big. He didn't seem to love his dish as I loved mine. The menu is 5 pages so you'll definitely find something you like. read more

I just had to try this restaurant as it is the name of my favorite movie of all time! It didn't disappoint! And seeing how busy they were was a good sign. We were greeted immediately and had only a short 5 minute wait to be seated. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had the traditional eggs Benedict with home fries and a side of bacon. Crowded. Fast service. Delicious breakfasts. Our group had coffee, biscuits gravy, home fries potatoes, hash browns, pancakes, omelettes, over medium eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, green chili. Everything was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The only complaint we had is we didn't know the home fries had onions in them as our son has an onion allergy so we switched with my hash browns. The Breakfast Club is advertised over Pirate Radio so we gave it a try on Saturday morn. It was busy, but we got seated right away. The waitress was accommodating. We got our drinks right away. Our order came soon. My wife had the breakfast burrito. It is the blandest burrito she ever had eaten. Flour tortilla good. Egg and hash brown filling good. But filling missed seasoning, grated cheese, red or green chili, onions, garlic, cilantro. The topping had a small amount of melted cheese with a small amount of Cholula. I ordered the Poor Boy biscuit and gravy with hash browns. Hash browns were good, the biscuit was good. The gravy was bland. The Roux that was used to make the gravy seemed to be missing flavor. I could not tell if the Roux was made with vegetable oil, bacon grease, or from sausage grease. It was more like thickened milk with a little pepper mixed in. So I don't think the restaurant was special enough to return to for a while. read more

Lived here more then half my life and have never tried this place. I just wanted something small since I do food delivery for work so I got the hashbrowns with sausage gravy and it was satisfying. Was a good portion too. When I went inside to pick up my food, I noticed how good the atmosphere felt so I could tell it was a good place. This is such a cute little place to stop and get some breakfast!! Very vintage old town vibes here, feels like grandmas house. There is usually about a 20-25 minute wait, but the food is amazing. I enjoyed the eggs bennedict! The only thing I'd change is that they don't serve any alcohol (first world problem lol) but I'd love to have had a mimosa with my breakfast! Other than that pretty darn cute! Only one stall restroom for the whole restraunt. I really loved the decor in this place as well! read more

Hi all! I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews, and this one isn't awful as I've only been there one for the basic biscuits and gravy, the Plain Jane. I've been a line cook for 20+ years, so I know what I'm talking about. The portion was generous, a good value. The biscuits were not fluffy or crispy on the outside, reminded me of store bought. The gravy - could use a kick in the pants, it's pretty bland. Me, I'd hit it with a dash of Worcestershire, more sausage, a bit more black pepper, and red pepper flakes. But, let's be fair, this was only one meal, I've been reading the other reviews, and I understand that the clientele there is a bit older, so I get it. Just didn't have the zip I was looking for. This was my first time visiting. The parking lot is somewhat full, but it is large. My wait was less than 15 minutes (not bad for a Saturday morning). I was sat quickly and was immediately greeted by the waitress and my order was taken right away. It took all of about 10 minutes even including how busy they were and my food arrived. The crowd is all old people (as are we), and I guess it is a long time since their 4 p.m. dinner, so they were all eating breakfast early. It is a typical breakfast diner, not exciting. Decor is old, matches the clientele. The menu is also typical things you would expect, nothing too far out there. I had the breakfast burrito - it is stuffed with green chile and eggs and some hashbrowns. Had to put some cholula on it to give it a little kick (still not enough). Been in FOCO just over a year, and we continue to search out new places (to us) to try. Finding this little gem was a real plus. Their "Senior" specials are for anyone over 55, so my wife and I got out of The Breakfast Club for under $24, including the 20% tip, and both felt like we had over eaten. The omelette I had was perfectly cooked, and the Pork Green Chili sauce was incredibly flavorful without being overly spicy. Great breakfast food, served at a great price, in abundant quantities.
