On our second visit here, we again had Alicia as our waitress. Like the first time, she was friendly and wonderful! I again enjoyed the chili relleno omelet. Bummed to find out they no longer carry the quinoa cakes on the menu, I got the fruit (for an up charge) and potatoes as my sides. Everything was delicious. My daughter didn't feel like the barbarian omelette, which she loved last time, so she had the California Breakfast Burrito instead. It was big and filling. The breakfast tacos were so good and very filling!! My favorite part, other than the eggs, was absolutely the spicy salsa. I didn't love the potatoes as much, they could have been cooked maybe a tad more. This is a cute little breakfast place and the waitress was super kind. We chose this restaurant which is now in the former location of one of our favorite hometown restaurants, The Egg & I, to meet relatives when we made a rare visit back to CO. We should have listened to another relative who told us it wasn't good, because it really wasn't good. The staff was great, especially the young woman who took extra time to help an older member of our party get seated, but unfortunately that's the only positive in this dining experience with bland, mediocre food. We shared the crab cake Benedict, which was utterly tasteless and disappointing, with the only saving grace being the English muffin underneath. The others in our party were obviously underwhelmed, too. Alas, we expected better. read more

I've always been a fan of the Egg & I, Egg & You restaurants for breakfast and brunch. Christy and her staff are doing their own thing in a good way in Greeley. First time trying lunch there, I had the Bacon BBQ burger, medium of course with a side of potatoes. It was delicious, I obviously ordered take out. My lunch break is only 30 mins but that definitely filled me up and the prices were very reasonable. This to me is a better choice than fast food drive thru places. Second time coming here, and I'm sorry I have to give 3 stars, since the first visit was quite enjoyable. The biscuits and gravy was room temperature at best, and flavorless. I'm hoping this was just a one off, but hard earned money deserves to be met with good food quality. The Boss Bacon is worth the trip alone, however, and my server was attentive and helpful. read more

Horrible. They somehow can't even cook eggs to order. Yesterday I ordered over-medium eggs. Instead, they got my meal out 10 minutes after the rest of my party and the eggs were over-easy and ruined the whole dish. Everyone else was almost done eating, so I couldn't even send it back. Service: 5 stars very friendly and welcoming Hygiene: 2 stars, the menu and cutlery we were given had dried food and what appeared to be rust Food: 2 stars I ordered the country fried steak as recommended by the waitress, it was extremely soggy and dripping with oil. I had to pat it with a napkin to get pool off. The waitress did offer a replacement however with the time constraint I couldn't wait. My daughter ordered the French kiss, the bread center was extremely soggy and inedible. I ordered my toddler the pancake and eggs with a strip of bacon: the pancake was good as was the Bacon. The eggs however looked and tasted like substitute eggs, my toddler did not want to eat them and she loves eggs. I let her eat my fried eggs. read more

I do love me some eggs Benedict and the shredded ham they use in place of Canadian bacon is a nice touch. They also load you up with plenty of hollandaise which sometime is shorter at other joints. The loaded potatoes are just the right amount of spicy and bacon-y! Make sure to allow a little time for the wait (only because they are sooo good and popular) not due to the service. While in the neighborhood, we checked this breakfast joint after running the Broncos 5k hosted by Platte Valley High School cross country team. The line was about 20 min wait as they are a bit short staffed. Make sure to check in as they have a waiting list. The menu is extensive and after ordering our food came out pretty quick. I had a stuffed French toast with an OJ. Food was fresh and tasty. Others with me had the biscuit and gravy and a Tahoe omellet and they all enjoyed their meal. The "rustic" potatoes have changed to a mildly seasoned frozen bag of mediocrity. The steak was cooked to my requested temperature but lacked any seasoning . Visited to check out The Epic Egg. Hubby had the Huevos Rancheros with Rustic Potatoes and I had the Mediterranean Omelet with Rustic Potatoes. Hubby said his food tasted just okay, wasn't anything that stood out and the portion was small. The Huevos was basically street taco size and the serving of potatoes was skimpy as well. My omelet was not very good. The omelet itself was dense and dry and the veggies inside were not cooked enough and the serving of potatoes was undercooked but tough from sitting out and the serving was skimpy. We enjoyed the Egg & I and were hoping since The Epic Egg has the same owners that it would be a comparable experience but it wasn't. The servings were small for the price and the food just wasn't as good. When I dine at a breakfast place that is supposed to specialize in breakfast foods, I expect to have my eggs cooked properly and for my potatoes to be crispy but tender. Great Spot! We were visiting family, and decided to find us a good spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Luckily for us Epic Egg was at the top of the list. We were seated right away, and drink orders were taken. The staff was very pleasant and sweet. Our son had made a mess of his apple juice as soon as he got it, but they didn't complain cleaned it up and had another one right out. I ended up ordering the Latin Fare Benedict, my husband went with the Epic Skillet, our daughter got the usual which is Biscuits & Gravy, and our son went with the Double Chocolate Chip Pancakes (Kid Menu). Everything made it out in a timely manner, and we all dug in without having anything left over. The Latin Fare was interesting I had a different idea as to what the base was going to be, but it was sort of like a corn pancake... Which was really really good, I really enjoyed this dish it was delicious. No complaints from the rest of the crew, everybody loved it... Our son wanted to come back the next day, lol. All in all the service & food were great, and pricing was fair. The gal that checked us out who I presumed was the owner could tell my husband was in the military so she had provided us with a discount and told us how her husband and herself also served. Overpriced and underwhelming taste. They charge for lemons, which I have never had to pay for before.

The food here is amazing and the fact that they get it fresh and make it so fresh helps a lot with having an autoimmune disorder.
