My usual nail studio was too far, and I just wanted a quick pedicure after work. I figured it was worth giving a new place a try. When I walked in, the staff seemed unsure if they even wanted to take me since they were already with clients. I stood there awkwardly while they considered if anyone would take me. Eventually, one lady agreed and asked if I wanted regular or gel. When I said regular, she paused, sighed, and then they all burst into laughter. They made a few jokes I didn't fully hear, but by then my feelings were already hurt and I just wanted to leave. The vibes were so off already. She started running my water, but I said I needed to grab my medication from home so I could exit the situation gracefully. She gave me extreme attitude and asked when I'd be back, but the answer is N E V E R. Her response was so disrespectful and condescending that I wouldn't return even if it were free. I'm glad I trusted my instincts and went elsewhere. Maybe some clients don't mind nasty attitudes, but I did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Apparently just wanting simple polish was enough. If this is how they treat people who come in anxious and shy, I can't imagine how they'd act if there were an actual issue. Maybe their regulars are people who spend $100+ a visit, but I didn't realize it was unwelcome to want a basic pedicure. Not everyone can afford the luxury options; some of us just want to feel a little better after a long day. I'm so disappointed and hurt. read more

I don't ever Yelp review but I feel like this nail salon deserves the praise! I am so happy I found this place!!!! I genuinely had such a good time getting my nails done. I got lucky to have Michelle do my nails today. The staff is so fun, they interact with their clients and not just each other. They take their time and nothing felt rushed. I never want to go anywhere else and am so grateful my old salon was fully booked otherwise I would've never walked in. I want to bring everyone I know here! This is what self care should feel like. I don't get my nails done too often, but if I do, I come here! Everyone here is so so so good. The shop is clean and doesn't have a strong chemical scent. Everyone is really friendly too. I take my daughter here as well, and she loves it. The prices are super reasonable compared to other places. I've never had a bad experience. Definitely come check it out! read more

Going for a pedicure to Epic felt like a happy hour with your BFF's! Refreshing, funny, genuine! These are the things I pay attention to when I get my nails done: Hygiene- the salon was clean from top to bottom. Chairs, carts, bathroom, all spotless. Knowledge- They take their time, dig every corner, cut all excess. Customer Service- I'm big on this one if you know my reviews. They listen. They take care of what you need. Massage is great! Moved to Henderson less than a year ago and the wife and I are glad that we found Epic Nails. They take their time and never rush. They do really good work! Great atmosphere, as everyone there seems to really enjoy being there. There is always funny banter and laughing. The only knock is they were playing the creepiest AF Pinocchio movie I have ever seen today...LOL! read more

I come here for Mari - especially for My pedicure -but also my manicure. Mari understands toe issues. I've had ingrown toenails and I've had surgeries on both big toes for the pain. She knows how to work with me and not cause any more problems or pain. She just makes my feet better and more beautiful. I don't trust anyone else. She's also gorgeous fun sweet happy and wonderful! The salon is clean and pretty and with nice music and everyone there is always in a good mood. and I really appreciate that. I don't even mind driving 25 minutes to get here. I'm new to Henderson (2 months) and been in search of a new nail salon near me. I got a mani and pedi done here today and I love how they both came out! I loved the vibe and how chill and chatty everyone was. The salon is clean, cool, and had 2 TVs playing. Best nail salon I've been to in the 7 years of living in NV! Everyone in there is cool as hell, always laughing WITH the customers, not at them. They are young and fun and do an amazing job. Being new to Henderson. I have the joy of going somewhere new everyday. Today was the Epic Nail Spa. I called yesterday and set my appointment for 930. It was so simple the gent ale man who answered was cool as hell. I received a confirmation text to confirm/remind me of my appt. Upon walking in I was greet and welcomed In confirmed my name for the appt. Lorraine, was my technician she was amazing. The only place I'll go too in Henderson. Amazing work, amazing talent. And they LAST. I'm already a month in! I'm HARD on my nails, dishes everyday, a toddler, cooking, cleaning everyday. I found Allison through Instagram and booked an appointment quickly through her to come down to the salon. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile and everyone that worked there was very friendly. Everyone that worked there was laughing, smiling, and having a good time. It was such a refreshing and fun atmosphere! You can tell the people that work there enjoy their work and all of them create beautiful work. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a nail tech. 10/10 would come back when I revisit Vegas from Cali/Texas! I do wish that they do the whole shabang with pedicures. Because when homegirl started massaging me, I was like ouuu this feels nice!! I'm so used to the masks, massages, etc. other than that, this nail salon is a while ass vibe! The atmosphere of it; I already knew I was going to get a good set of polished toenails. Nope nope and nope - this was my go to salon when I lived in green valley - we moved yet I continued to drive the distance from Lake Las Vegas -- I think my last visit was 2018 - February -- anyways went back last week since I have not found the same quality nail salons since - dang - new owners higher pricing. Mind you I don't care about the increase -- yet after 6 days my "next gen dip" was chipping all but 4 fingers -- these always last me 3-4 weeks !!! Looking sharp till then -- nope! I don't this they're using the actual core line product, which is another nope ! And when I went yesterday to show her, she blames my nail beds- last nope -- do not go, stay far away !!!! The shop itself is very pretty, but I paid for a professional, premium luxury service and did not get that today. The pedicure technician (Jaden) was wonderful. The massage chair was nice, the service was relaxing, and she did a great job on the application. However, management failed to stock the premium Rose Quartz products included in the VIP package I paid for, substituting hot stones instead. Despite this, Jaden seemed genuinely interested in having my visit be as relaxing as possible.. and I appreciate her great service. She took her time with me and made it special. I really enjoyed the scents! While the menu explicitly states all nail services come with a complimentary beverage, I was never offered or given anything to drink. My manicure by a different technician (Julie) was incredibly disappointing, rushed, and looks cheap. There was zero proper nail prep...no cuticle work, cleaning, or detail work around the nail beds. To make matters worse, Julie repeatedly criticized my color preference. Jaden even explained to Julie that I liked the color, but Julie kept complaining that the tips were "too light" while painting them. Just do what makes your client happy. While rushing through my nails, Julie spent time checking her phone and talking to another client. She openly stated she was scared to ask that client to wait if she completed my brow wax. Instead of honoring the appointment I booked well in advance, she just apologized and turned me down for the brow service entirely. The finished Gel-X nails look messy around the edges. For Gel-X nails that cost $77, they should look flawless but look like cheap press-ons from a grocery store. Out of sheer frustration and the urgent need to scramble and find another salon to do my eyebrows immediately before my trip tomorrow, I just had to take it and get out of there. What an awful experience. The older guy at station 6 (sorry don't know his name) hurt me so many…read moretimes! He literally dug at my cuticles with his thumbnail to separate the cured gel from my skin...painful and gross!!! The shop was clean and the owner seemed to care when I gave him my feedback after service, but even for free I wouldn't go back. I went in for a gel fill. I had to point out multiple times that a couple of them had lifted and needed to have the gel removed where it was loose. At checkout for the $55 fill they tried to charge me an extra $5 for repairing the three lifted nails. Seriously??? I don't have tips, and my nails are barely longer than my fingertips...maybe 1/16th of an inch long so fixing them was no different than filling them.

He didn't soak the gel off he made my nails thin by pouring "acetone" in a bowl and filing my nails off so thin to the point I said it hurt so bad. He put on the wrong glitter made it super thick and smeared not even the correct color on my nails. Not sanitary. his nails were black underneath. didn't offer to help. I asked to just take the polish off. he said they were too busy to sit and wait. Do not go here. No clean. Not good customer service. His dirty hand touching mine was disgusting and not sanitary.

The appointment took around 3 hours, and the complimentary Moscato was served in what looks like the 4oz Dollar Tree champagne cups. I have to give Houston the edge when it comes to nail services, lashes, facials, and overall customer experience. And most htx salons don't have 1 beverage per service policies, because most nail salons pretty quickly (of course all dependent on type of service and level of design) and want you comfortable. This didn't live up to the real level of service I've come to expect in Las Vegas.

She had an appointment with a female. She was not there and told us that this older man could do the nails. She wanted polka dots on her nails. My daughter was in tears when we got to the car. The nails were badly shaped, and the polka dots were not dots. They looked like a kid did them. I went back and spoke to them. The guy asked me what I wanted, and they told me that it was good that they were different sizes. We left. We went to LV Nails on Eastern. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The girls there could not believe the job done on the nails and assured my daughter they would fix it. We went back to K Nails to show them what the nails should have looked like. The lady was there and looked at the nails. I told them they should not have anyone who is not trained to do the work. I asked for a refund, but they denied it even after seeing that my daughter's nails had been redone. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else. Definitely NOT WORTH GOING THERE!
