Decided to try this nail salon because it was near where I was having lunch. I wish I had looked at the reviews first. Everyone was nice and I got seated right away to get a manicure as a walk in but I was disappointed in the service. I wanted a basic manicure and it went quick which is fine but the nail tech cut me and didn't apologize. She cleaned it up but kept going. Once she found out I didn't want gel she went through doing my nails really quick and only gave me one coat of top coat. Made me feel like because I didn't want gel that my service wasn't that important. She then walked off and never came back which was disappointing because the service is supposed to include a hand massage and she left nail polish on my fingers. I had to call the receptionist over and she cleaned off the nail polish for me. Needless to say this experience was very disappointing and I will not be coming back. read more

Reviewing again since this place is my go to now! I've searched far and wide in Henderson in this area for a good go to spot that I loved, and I am do glad I have finally found it here! :) -This salon is very clean, well organized, and has lots of options to choose from which I sincerely appreciate. -I have had my nails done by maybe 5 different people now and they have always been great quality, which is unlike my experiences at other nearby salons. -They are so hardworking, they stay late past their closing time just to accomodate you, and they do not skimp on quality or try to rush even when they do so! They are very detail oriented and don't make you feel rushed. -They give great massages. -My nails are always shaped super well, and the quality is amazing! Even when I ask for complicated designs (see my photos). Never too thick, chunky, uneven, or sloppy like I've experienced elsewhere in town. -Vicki and Tammy are amazing! I went today for pedicure. The owner was so mean to the girl at the front desk, and even to the technicians as well. Seemed like she was degrading them. We won't come back because we don't want to support that behavior and I pray that they find someone better to work for. There's a lot of other nail salons. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and the service quality and cleanliness is consistently good. However, the atmosphere has felt less welcoming during recent visits. Interactions at the front desk have seemed rushed, and explanations about things like using Destiny points weren't clear, which made the experience feel dismissive at times. While the nail technicians themselves do solid work, it can also feel rushed. The overall vibe of the salon feels more cold than inviting. My nail technician was rude and kept jerking my hand in the position she wanted it. I was having my nails done with my mom, and after my nails were done I remained sitting next to her. It was not busy at all when we were there. The technician then coldly said, "You're done," indicating that I should get up and move. I should let you know that my gel manicure was $45 and I added a $5 tip out of courtesy. The nail salon that I go to in Southern California, and they offer you cold bottled water. When you buy a nail package of services they offer champagne or a Mimosa. With rising service prices, clear communication and a friendly environment are important, and unfortunately, this has been lacking. I've been going to this salon for as long as it's been opened because I've been following the owner for many years now. She's pretty busy so I don't always ask for her since I usually don't book my appointments early and usually book them the day of or a couple days before. Besides that, I've never had someone I didn't like. Everyone is so nice and easy to talk to. If you prefer something another way, speak up as they're doing your nails and they'll have no problem fixing it to your liking. They provide quality service. After having my nails done recently by Angel, I have been requesting her because she does a WONDERFUL job at executing the coffin shape while I also ask her to make them as short as possible. I train jiu jitsu so I need to have fairly short nails, but I still like them to look cute and feminine. Angel does a great job at making them short for me but still giving that shape. The salon itself is very clean, new, and spacious. There is always calming music playing (that even makes me sleepy sometimes) and cool food/cooking videos playing all the time. It's very easy to be relaxed with some entertainment, while getting your services done. They'll even offer water and coffee or tea most of the time. Everyone is great at providing a nice experience there. I live in summerlin but it's worth it to drive here and get my nails done every few weeks. Definitely recommend! read more

Destiny Nails would not honor the offer they texted me to get a birthday discount. I showed them my ID that it was in fact my birthday but they said it would only be off one service, the cheaper one of course. The text did not specify that. They were very rude about it. Plus I've been there a few times and the nail work isn't up to par. Why pay to have your nails look bad and why pay to be treated bad? I'll never go back. read more

I just love Destiny Nails. I drive all the way from Summerlin just to come here. They are just so nice and welcoming. They literally take the time on your nails to make them look perfect. The wait is never long because they have so any staff members there each day. It just opened up and I see they keep busy. The place is so clean and beautiful. I've been a loyal customer of Destiny Nails but after today, I'M DONE! They consistently are changing the prices. One lady charged me $35 for an acrylic fill for the past few years, then a few weeks ago another charged me $50 for the exact same thing. Today, when I went for a fill, they charged me $45. Then when paying, Lisa had the nerve to hand me a new menu showing their price increases starting in January!! The technicians here and the receptionist are cold. They do a rushed and or poor job at times. Then when a nail breaks and you go back the next day to fix it they make you feel like you're a pest. Also, they email you about discounts on certain days such as your birthday, but they expire before you have a chance to use ... They should honor it whenever you're ready to use it. First, a regular Destiny Nails (Anthem Village Drive) customer brought me to this salon as a guest (mainly) to support the business as it's a local in our neighborhood. My experience was horrible -- the technician Kathy (if that's her real name), deliberately OVER CHARGED me, and lied about the service. I requested the $55.00 gel deluxe package, and she lied and told me there was an additional $20.00 charge for the gel polish! A blatant lie! I paid $75.00 for a bogus charge (only I didn't know it at the time), and I didn't want to embarrass my friend. And, stupid me -- I even gave her an extra tip! (I always leave an extra tip to my tech). Well, if she did not want "people like me" in her salon, she hit a home run! I will share this information with everyone in my neighborhood so they will know that Destiny Nails (Anthem Village Drive) deals in deceptive billing practices to "unsuspecting" clients. Picked 2 different reds --- they had neither (as per usual). Just a flat true red, nothing fancy. Expressed to Lisa my disappointment and situation where I'm already 1/3 way thru pedi and can't just leave nor really want to. Asked Lisa if I could get either (1) a discount or (2) if I could pick a gel color for the same price as a regular pedicure so I could get a color close to what I wanted. NO. Lisa said "It's not in our policy to give discounts". Guess it's also not in their policy to put customers first either. I was frustrated, had to settle for another color and did NOT have a relaxing experience. Finally found a great nail salon close to my home. Loved how clean the salon was . I did a GelX full set with design and a deluxe pedicure by Tracey was awesome. Thorough and great massage! Megan did my full set nails and she did an excellent job creating just what I wanted! Highly recommend this place. It's not cheap but you pay for what you get. read more

This salon is completely unprofessional and unethical I went in today asking for a manicure and pedicure, I agreed to the $65 pedicure but Tracy to continue to sell a more expensive version, my heels were not cleaned and quickly in 30 minutes They have very poor customer service, and are very aggressive They kept hitting my feets and squeezing hard to " don't move " instead of just asking me nicely The salon clearly doesn't value customer service, the focus is purely on the money. Lucy has been my go to girl. She is professional and consistently does a great job on my nails; however, she just moved. So, I had Mina who is incredibly detailed in her work. In fact, when I was with a different technician this time around, Mina stepped in to show the technician exactly what I wanted. It was a training moment for the other technician, and I was grateful to Mina for stepping in and demonstrating her expertise. Mina also demonstrated her expertise in the waxing of my brows, lip and chin. Overall, mine and my husband's experience is consistently very good. We are always greeted immediately upon walking in. We are welcomed by the staff. The place is clean, inviting and soothing. Tools are sanitized and always used on one client only and new, clean tools brought out for next client. They offer water and coffee as well as free snacks. They are not pushy like many nail salons in the area (I have many, that can't even file nails properly.) wanting to upsell you. Had the best experience! One of my best friends moms comes here and I always would pay attention to her nails when she would talk. Her nails were so clean and nice looking and after a few times of thinking this I finally asked where she goes. She told me she goes to Destiny Nails in Anthem and sees Lisa. So I booked an appointment and couldn't wait for my nails to be done. The shop is extremely clean and relaxing , they have calming music playing with calming videos on the tv. The environment was just so relaxing compared to any other nail salon I've been too. Lisa did an absolute fantastic job on my nails and really took the time to make sure they were perfect before leaving. She also did the most relaxing hand massage and that is always something I look forward too. I moved to Henderson less than a year ago and found Destiny Nails after visiting a couple of others I didn't love. I do love this shop which I frequent quite often. It is large and busy at times, but the employees and customers always seem to be in a good mood and it is clean with a great vibe. I have enjoyed most of their services, including adding facials with Lisa more recently. Every one of the employees I have met there (Jenny, Nancy, Cindy and others) has been pleasant and upbeat, and I notice that they are very sweet, gentle and kind to some very elderly folks or those with special needs who come to the shop. They also give little ones (I brought my granddaughter there for a fun day when she was visiting) a wonderful experience - they use the regular sized pedicure stations but they adapt to be a special treat for littler bodies. I find their pricing reasonable for the services provided, and you will not find a much harder working team of women and men. read more

LAZY--- I've been here a few times when I was in a hurry only because the place I really like is busy. They never do a fully good job. They always rush thru the job. Skip a step or forget. Like today I went for a mani/pedi. I had to ask the guy to file my nails after he brushed the nail file over them once leaving them uneven. REALLY!! I know he can see. Then he only cut have of my cuticles. Got up and forgot when he came back. When I asked him to do it of course I looked like the bad guy.
