I could never hate you Epic. I'm a bit biased since I spent 3 summers working there, but everytime I've gone to Epic Theaters, I've had a great experience. The staff is usually younger but if you're respectful to them, they'll do their best to help you in any way possible. In the past, customers could just walk in and sit anywhere but now you need to purchase a ticket before hand and pick a seat. They've also streamlined the concessions process and you are essentially picking whatever you want a la carte instead of having them get it for you. They also have alcohol and reclining chairs! Price wise, it's the same everywhere so go earlier in the day and enjoy! read more

Came here to kill time waiting for my flight. We were able to walk right in and use the kiosk to purchase our tickets. Lobby area was clean but had to ignore my popcorn craving as the price was so expensive. Popcorn was $9 for a regular. I saw no small options. Inside the theatre room was okay. I visited this movie theater on a Monday at 2:30pm... it was empty, excluding employees. I remember this theater being one of my favorites about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, they've changed a lot. Everything is self service: purchase tickets on screen (the outside ticket area was closed); self-serve food (I stood there for a moment, waiting for an employee, before realizing this; unfortunately, this also means that no food was fresh and just sitting there, and many menu options were not available fresh to order- just $6 hot dogs (that were stale), pizza and popcorn. I walked into my movie 20 minutes late, thinking I skipped the previews. There was no movie playing. I had to go inform them... I was on a "time crunch," so I almost panicked. Overall, it's an average theater. Not a fan of the new self-serve services. The bar is a nice, new touch. read more

I absolutely love Epic! I bring my kids here every summer for the $1 Summer Kids Series, and my husband and I prefer this theater for movies we want to see over all the other local ones. The ticket prices here are $8-10 cheaper than other theatres, and the food and reclining seats are just as good if not better than those places. Plus, the employees are nicer. It's five minutes from our house, and it's three doors down from Fancy Sushi, which is the best after movie dinner you could ask for. read more

With poor/mediocre ratings, I went to this theater with low expectations. I saw an 11:25am movie on a Wednesday morning, and had the entire theater to myself! You can buy tickets online, or at one of the kiosks (two outside - one was broken) or additional kiosks inside. Follow the prompts and pick your assigned seat. Wait a minute for the receipt and ticket to print out...initially I was worried that I'd have nothing to show for my purchase! Proceed inside to have an employee check your ticket. Then to concessions, which are mostly self-serve but that isn't obvious when you walk up. You just take items out of the case and then pay at the cashier (a person!), where you'd get any cups for beverages. At the time of day when I arrived, the only 'food' options were hot dogs and pretzels...popcorn and candy too, along with drinks and icees. Fill your own beverage at another station, a little further down from the food. I took pictures of the menu and prices (as of Sept 2023) because I was unable to find a menu anywhere online. Theater was generally clean (a few pieces of popcorn on another seat), and all seats recline. Comfortable. Bathrooms were clean too. All in all, I'd return to this theater! And plenty of parking in the adjacent shopping center, with a few surrounding restaurant options in case you want to have a real meal. read more

Terrible Customer Service ! I had purchased tickets for the wrong day so when I went to go scan my tickets the worker had let me know they were for yesterday and to go to the customer service and the manager would be able to help me and give me a refund sense I didn't show up for my movie. When I talked to someone he let me know they don't do refunds and to email. he wrote the email on a flash card for me and told me I would get my refund if I emailed. A couple days had passed by and i still had not heard back so I called and asked when I would most likely receive a response from someone and he let me know to wait a couple days and if I still hadn't heard back to call again. I called again and I'm assuming I was on the phone with the manager i had let her know about the situation she told me that apparently I was supposed to have been given a refund right there and then at the movie theater. She then began to raise her voice and basically yell at me saying how she doesn't train her workers to tell us to email that this had been her first time hearing about something like this. I let her know I was trying to be difficult at all and I was simply just doing what her employer had asked me to do and if she needed any proof that I could be able to provide. She kept yelling saying she couldn't believe this and then told me there was nothing she can do for me. I've been reaching out asking if there's a corporate number I could reach out to or if I could speak with someone that would be able to help me but still no response. I find it very frustrating how this entire situation was handled and the unprofessionalism from the manager and how she spoke to me. I was getting told different information from every person I spoke to and each time I was simply just doing what I was told from each employer to make sure I would get my refund and this could be a smooth process for all parties. read more

Went to a movie here for the first time in a long time. Buying tickets is all automated now with a kiosk that was very easy to use . Staff was right there if you have questions or issues. Buying snacks and drinks is all automated as well but staff right there to help you through the process. After you have been through it the next time will be easy. The theater has been renovated since the last time I came. All cinemas have recliner seating, the seats are very comfortable. When purchasing your tickets you pick the seat you will be seating in. You can purchase tickets online prior to coming or by using a ticket kiosk. Ticket kiosks are located outside the theater as well as in the main lobby. If you choose to purchase your tickets online you will receive a barcode via email. Once you get to the theater you scan the barcode at one of the ticket kiosks and your tickets will print out. The theater has a bar with a mini dining area in the main lobby. It also has a self service refreshment area, that has prepared food items you can just grab. Next to the cashier section they have the candy area. Everything is easily accessible, hassle free and because of this there are less waiting times at the concession stands. All cinemas have been fully renovated and all have comfortable reclining chairs and spacious walkways. Definitely loving all the new upgrades! read more

Sound sound sound!!! Second time I come out here and there's just the lowest volume possible in the movies sound/audio. I normally like coming out to see a movie at Epic theaters in Clermont. Seats are comfy and it's pretty clean but they have a real problem... I can hear other people opening up their snacks and making noise chitchatting and moving around. It's very annoying. I've been to Epic many times since they opened in Clermont and have never had a bad experience. They have a rewards program where you get 1 point for every dollar spent and points earn you free free popcorn, drinks and movies. You can get discounted tickets on Tuesdays with their Value Promotions program. The theatre is always clean and the movies start on time. They recently completed a renovation and now have luxury loungers and self serve kiosks. The snack bar also expanded their food and drink choices. The snack bar employees are typically slow but friendly. In addition to current movies Epic has Event Cinema and Flashback Cinema. We have enjoyed some of the movies featured on Flashback Cinema but never viewed anything from Event Cinema. The operas, plays and movies are listed on their website. read more

Pricing was a plus! Was a little confusing with the concessions being that it was self serving and our first time. But we were able to finally flag someone down to get help. Popcorn was good, and the drink options were good! We got into the theater and the there was garbage and crumbs in our seats. After cleaning that up, I can say the reclining chairs were pretty comfy. The sound and picture quality were good. Bathrooms were gross. Around the sinks looked like nobody has cleaned them in a long time. Our first time here since they remodeled. Everything looks really nice. The snack area is now self serve with a cashier near the soda machines. The theater we were in is now stadium style seating with comfy recliners. They are a bit cheaper than other local theaters now have but are still nice. Tickets are now sold inside with kiosks available both inside and out too. It was cheaper to buy our tickets at the box office than using their app online. Kind of a letdown there as every other theater I go to if I have joined their club I pay no online fees. Overall it was a good experience and I hope to go back more often. So I was walking into the theater to check in with my ticket. Ticket lady is mumbling processes my ticket and tells me to go to the theater, and shes not really talking to me. Her eyes are down and I go to the theater where I thought it was supposed to go. There's a movie playing so I go back out to the lobby and they look at me like I'm crazy. They moved it to another theater, but they didn't tell me and then they threw a fit when I asked him to look it up. There was no apology no compensation nothing, very disappointing . We had the most bizarre experience at this theater today. We came for the 3:40 showing of Black Panther. When we arrived all the self service kiosks were out of order. There were numerous employees hovering around the lobby/ticket area but no one said a word. No greeting, no offer to help, no acknowledgement that the kiosks were out of order. We approached the register and the young woman working seemed less than enthused to assist. Her screen was also slow and she seemed confused. My husband and I selected our seats and paid, my sister then waited for her to sell her a ticket...instead, she took out her iPhone and began to text...while we stood there...waiting and watching. This was in plain view not even trying to hide it. My sister stood RIGHT IN FRONT of her, until she finally said "umm yeah, so I wanted to buy the seat next to them?" To which the cashier replied "oh I know" and rung her up...what on earth?? So we proceed to concessions and go to purchase a bag of popcorn. We ask for an additional empty bag so we can have a bag with out butter due to one of us with a health issue. They tell us they can't give us anything at all due to inventory count...this seems silly, there should be something you can provide, we can't be the only ones who request this.
