The staff are always on point, always courteous and the vibes are next to none. Everything is always great when she is there. Oh about last night.... My food was good (2 stars) but I ordered Mild but it is medium! The customer service is horrible!! I called in an order and went to pick it up. It was 9:00 pm per YELP they close at 9:30 pm. No one greeted me when I entered. I walked straight to the register and these two guys were having a conversation. I put my purse down and stood there. No one stopped talking and finally one guy said "He going to ring you up". The other guy said "It's after 9 I can't take her order." I just looked at them like no one asked why I'm here or says hello! I finally tell these two I'm here for my order I called in for. NOW THE REGISTER WORKS!! All I order is breadsticks, and I always order online and go pick up 30 min after (online it says to pick up 20 min after) but when I arrive they are never done and always have to wait the amount of time I would if I walked in and ordered. Maybe I shouldn't order from here when I'm in a rush (anymore). read more

The flavor is always great. The only bad thing about here is the wait. They always say 10 minutes and it's usually closer to 20. If you like you you wings with sauce order the extra wet. I prefer the strips. I get extra bread sticks and make little sandwiches. Yum read more

Walked in around noon on a Saturday it wasn't that busy, lucky me! I've been a fan of this chain over 30 years. The place looked clean and so did the Bathroom. The employees were friendly and efficient. I experienced Buffalo Chicken Wings for the first time at their old location on El Cajon Blvd near SDSU and fell in love...it's been about 4 years now since my last visit, after moving far away. I got the 6 piece meal, bone in wings and chose Hot for the sauce heat level with Blue Cheese Dressing and they were just as great as I remembered. Crispy outside, Tender Juicy inside, Hot, Spicy Savory sauce, just not too hot to burn your mouth or taste the meat...just right Baby! The Bread Rolls that come with the meal was nice and warm, soft and delicious. The Carrots and Celery was a great accompaniment as well. Why only 4 Stars you ask? Last time I visited they had more options like a delicious Macaroni and Potato Salad among other things...what happened? Also, I dislike that when they charge your card right after ordering, that's when the computer screen asks for your tip. I may be psycho, but I'm definitely not a psychic, I don't know in advance if I'm going to have good service or not, as they say in ole Missouri you have to show me first. Best wings and strips in El Cajon. The sweet chili strips are my favorite I highly recommend them. The breadsticks are literally always fresh and soft, but the best part about Wings and things is the service. The past few times I came here Aveen really helped me out. She's probably has the best customer service I've ever seen and she's is literally lightning quick... literally! She is always a big help especially when I ordered 2 party packs for the Mayweather fight (picture shown on profile) she made sure everything was perfect and fresh. Apparently, it was about ten minutes before closing time, so I was reluctant to go and bother them if their kitchen had already closed. However, I decided to pop my head in and ask if I can grab something to-go. They were really great with their customer service and was happy to get my order ready. They didn't show any signs of irritation that I came in so late, which is a great sign of professionalism. Their wings were pretty tasty- I got a mix of honey BBQ and garlic. The chicken was a little dry, but I love that they gave us ample amounts of sauce. Also, they gave a little baggy of fresh cut carrots and celery, along with some ranch. The order was meant for 2 people and came with 4 breadsticks, but they had almost no flavor to them and were dry, so we discarded them. I would definitely come back again! read more

Worst customer experience ever. Showed up to pick up a phone order and female taking order was to busy flirting with the guy training her and vice versa. After paying for meal female and her trainer walked away to go on there break. I waited 15 minutes while my food just sat there. Went up to the counter to see if my food was ready not knowing it was ready the whole time i was waiting but the cashier who took my order was to busy flirting and worrying about going on break. There are so many places to choose to eat from when it comes to eating wings but Allison's customer service makes it very easy to choose this Epic Wings N Things . My mom has a language barrier when it comes to ordering from places she's not use to ordering from and Allison told my mom that she has nothing to worry and memorized what I normally get my mom so that when my mom comes here and Allison is here, she right away takes care of my mom. She goes out of her way to make sure there is excellent customer service to all the people dining in the restaurant as I've witnessed many times. Not only her but every person who has worked for this epics lately has definitely been trained right and customer satisfaction will always be a priority from what I've seen with this place. " Nice Meal For Two People " I went to the Wings & Things on North Second Street in El Cajon today for the first time, to purchase a meal for two people. Allison the General Manager greeted me and answered all of my questions about Wings & Things Menu items. Allison has been working at this Wings & Things for almost 14 years and it showed. She was so nice and knowledgeable with such a great attitude, as her #1 goal was to please me. I tried the 12 piece Original Buffalo Wings, with 6 wings with medium Buffalo Wing sauce, and 6 wings with Honey Barbecue sauce. They have many different sauce flavors you can pick from for your wings.The meal also included 2 bags of carrots and celery sticks, with ranch or blue cheese sauce, and 4 freshly cooked Bread sticks. We also tried their Cinnabites for dessert, which are some sweet cooked cinnamon bread cooked and served with delicious icing for dipping the bread. This location is so amazing, by far my favorite Wings N Things! I came in last night, and the customer service I received was outstanding! Julia was so sweet and nice, I loved her! I spoke to the management team and they were awesome! My food was BOMB. I ordered only 4 breadsticks but ended up getting 4 extra (probably by mistake) but still AWESOME! I ordered the 8 piece chicken strips and got 10!! And I only ordered 1 ranch and got 3! I love that they aren't stingy with the food. It was so amazing. I'm not expecting to get extra food each time, but it was an amazing surprise anyway! I will always choose the El Cajon Wings N Things. They know what's good! Thank you guys for everything! Pains me to say this but this place has gone down hill very fast. Ever since the move to the new location their service has been terrible. The people behind the counter are nice and never rude. But the service from the kitchen is slow and just a disappointment because it was so much better in the past. The last time I ordered, I was told 30 min wait time. I showed up to pick up my order, I waited a few min and received my wings cold. Everything was cold, the sauce, the wings and the fries were all cold. When I got home I had to throw them in the microwave just to eat them. I was offered to get a fresh order but would have to wait another 30min. No thanks.. The time before that I ate in the restaurant and ordered fries which never came. The manager was nice and gave me a refund, but the what was bad is that we had to wait 40 min for our wings after being told 20min wait. The wings seem smaller and with the new pricing you get less and the prices went up. What used to be my wing go to place is now a once in a while "I hope I get a good order" place. Very disappointed in there store policy. I work in El cajon so I picked up food from this location got home in Spring Valley I was missing food yes you check before you leave the place but I never thought to count how much was in each container. Called right away manager said bring it back we will make you a new order. I told her that would really be out the way 5:30 on a fri no way. Welp there is nothing she can do. Spoke with the Gm the following day Allison she told me the same thing. So guess I must count each piece chicken in the containers. I will stick to my National City location. read more

Yesterday I ordered a single meal with 6pc Wings, when I got home I only had 4 wings and no veggies. I called today because apparently yesterday there wasn't a manger available and the supervisor tells me that basically even though I can show her a picture of the food I received along with a receipt showing that I ate there yesterday their store policy is that "they need to see the food in order for them to remake my order". From the minute that we walked in and were greeted by the friendly, young woman at the register to the moment that we picked up our order about 20 minutes later, the whole experience was A+. We've not been back since last year because the last time we were there the service was slow, unorganized and rude. It took forever to get the wings and they weren't worth the money we spent. Fast forward to last Sunday, the place has a new look, new more organized menu and chicken wing combos and the joint was clean and cheerful. When we go home, the bread sticks were yummy and buttery, the veggies fresh and crispy and the chicken wings were the bomb!!! We are very happy and will return often, love this place now! read more
