Have been coming here for YEARS. As locals we have also frequented the El Cajon location, the Carmel Mountain location, & the W. Valley Pkwy location (depending on where we are in the County). The El Norte Pkwy location, by a long shot, ALWAYS delivers (figuratively). I came in today (Wednesday) around 1230 and this place never disappoints. I asked the gal (who I presume to be perhaps be the franchisee)- and I requested extra attention to my breadsticks and I was absolutely over the moon when I got home, to see that she honored my request! I personally love my bread to be swimming in A LOT of butter and A LOT of garlic. This woman is an angel! I was such a happy lady and everyone at home was elated too. Always fresh. Always delicious. Epic Wings is probably my favorite chicken wings chain, so we decided to stop here for dinner after a long drive from LA. This is definitely the smallest location that I've been to, with only about 5 or 6 small tables to dine at inside, and it seems like most of their orders here are phone ins. I got my usual Single Meal order ($11.95) of boneless wings with buffalo hot sauce and honey bbq sauce mixed together. I would recommend phoning in your order since it does feel like this location took a bit longer than usual to bring our order out. However, they explained that they slightly messed up our order and had to fix it which is why ours look longer than usual, and they compensated for it. The cashier that we talked to was super nice and accommodating, so we had no issues with the customer service here. As far as quality of the food, it's just as good as the other locations. Everything came out piping hot, and they put a lot of sauce on the chicken as well so there was plenty to dip the breadsticks in too. read more

The five stars is for the staff that was working today at noon, the 2 slightly older Latina's. This was my first time trying this place I got the family bundle where you get 24 and I went with traditional wings and you get a half order of their homemade breadsticks and I chose extra hot as my sauce with a side of atomic hot sauce and a side of the spicy chili sauce and of course the veggie boats that come with it. I put my order in around 1 p.m. for pickup after work about 5:30 p.m. the staff were very friendly as I told him I've never ordered before to explain their menu and how they work when I got off of work my order was ready for me for pick up within 5 minutes. When I got home I was amazed how the wings were tender they still had that slight crunch to them even though it was about a 10-minute drive home they were super delicious worth every penny the staff was very friendly environment when I arrived was very clean definitely a place that I would try again. I just had the regular traditional wings but maybe next time I'll try the chicken strips or maybe the Boneless to see how those compare as well with some more of that sweet chili sauce because it was really good too. Let me start by saying that if I could give this review 0 stars I would. I will never go back to this place and it's all because of the staff! Mainly the cashier, who her being Mexican used the N word twice while I was there waiting for my order ! She then proceeded to make fun of a customers name by calling him flamingo! It may not be offensive but it was most definitely not appropriate! She when and told her co worked " i put in my two weeks i don't care N***a". The fact that's she was so comfortable using such a word while on the clock and getting PAYED to represent a place is completely unacceptable! This place is lot run well at all. I go to different epic wings locations and I never have a problem. This one is on my way home and it's the ONLY reason I have given them another chance. Orders take too long even if you place them an hour ahead, you still go in and it takes them 30-45 minutes. No one ever has an answer to any of your questions. My order was incomplete one time and I called in and they told me that next time I was in they would give the one missing item. Finally, 2 months later I put in an order an no one can tell me anything about my missing item and they asked me to come back after 4pm. I picked up my order and drove 15 minutes home only to find out that part of my order was missing when I called back and explained I would drive all the way back to pick it up but didn't expect to be charged the guy said no you need to pay and I said that doesn't work for me you messed up and it's a long drive back he said TOO BAD. Now this place is a pretty good spot to go to if you're looking for some decent junk food since it is pretty much fries and wings. I love eating here though whenever I have a cheat day from my normal diet! But don't expect a 5 star meal from here but it's definitely better than a McDonald's and definitely a lot more filling with much more flavor. Seems like a decent amount of people come here but there isn't usually a line either so you can expect a quick turnaround on getting your food. They do have tables inside the small restaurant if you wish to eat inside. Keep in mind that the area is a little more on the ghetto side so you may see a homeless person or two around the area. But they don't bother you from what I've seen so far so you'll be perfectly safe. In the end, I would recommend coming here. Looks like a hangout for the local young people, but, worth the wait when you take your first bite and pull to get the juicy meat and crispy skin that's dripping with the SAUCE! Go with the Mild Sauce for the flavorings, but, up it only if you have an iron gut and enough drinks around to put out the flames!!! The location in San Marcos was much faster preparing my order as well as having a much cleaner eating area than this location. I ordered and had to wait about 25 minutes or so for my order, however my order was not made correctly. Option 1 refund, option 2 seemingly hesitant was tor remake my order. I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes... normally customer service would dictate that if an order was made incorrectly, then the next order to come out should replace that order etc down the line instead of putting said customer to the back of the line... just my opinion. This was my first time going to this location and initially I was worried because of the reviews but today I wanted wings and refused to drive in traffic to get Buffalo Wild Wings so i went. With that being said I decided calling to place my order was my best option because I wanted to be back home as soon as I could. I was told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes I got there 25 minutes after I placed the order and it wasn't ready (so I was annoyed, pregnant lady hates being hungry lol) but i kept my tone light and a smile on my face because you never know whose day you can impact... within the next 8 minutes that I sat and waited for my food to get ready I noticed several things... 1. The phone was ringing the ENTIRE time, at no point was someone not answering a call for more than 10 seconds sooo many people were calling in orders. 2. Over 16 people had walked in the restaurant in the little time that I was sitting there and none of them had called in orders so they all had additional orders that needed to be made. 3. By the time I left the line was way out the door and I have no idea how many people were there at that point but I know there were three employees working and one stayed in the kitchen so they had a lot on their hands. I said all this to say that while I was initially upset, it's important to be mindful of people's situation. All in all, my food was hot and flavorful, the young man who brought out my order seemed very apologetic about my having to wait, my order was correct, and I even got a few extra goodies.
