Great customer service, the staff was very nice especially a staff member named Nico, he was very helpful with my questions on the menu. The food itself was great, the portions we're perfect. The restaurant itself is kept clean by the staff so dining in was pretty nice. Props to the person on the aux for playing good music too. read more

Accessibility: accessible/handicap parking in front of building with ramp to get onto the sidewalk. Doors to enter are pull doors. There is also a drive-thru of course. Experience: food is always hot, I have rarely ever had mistakes so all is well. read more

Ordered a steak grilled cheese burrito only problem is they forgot the steak . While Waiting for my food at the drive thru window I over heard employees saying the previous car order was incomplete while they drove off . This immediately made me wanna double check my order before leaving . Sure enough my order was incorrect. Don't drive off without checking your order here apparently it's to difficult to perform a simple task. read more

Shout out to Raphael/Rafael in the drive thru. I've seen him at the drive thru a few times and he always gives the best service. It's rare to see a fast food employee with such a great attitude especially at a place like Taco Bell. I went at 1am and he gave me the biggest smile and best service I've ever received in fast food. Stopped by here for a quick lunch. Service was prompt and served with a smile but there were no clean tables available. I had to clean one up to enjoy my meal. Food was good. Soda wasn't flat and parking was easy. I'd probably be back again but would do drive thru instead. This location is hard to get in and out of but its the only one on this side of town. read more

I always love Taco Bell. East Valley Blvd is always good. I had an issue with a recent order and I returned and spoke to them. No hassles at all. Only good service. A manager name Genesis was just awesome. Ellen at the counter was a gem as well. So they corrected my problem from the previous trip and then came up with a creative solution for my wife's special needs....as if this was just a normal transaction. Very impressed with Genesis. This hurts me more than it hurts you. I love TB but since moving and being closest to this store has had me completely stop eating TB. I came here twice, the first time was so incredibly bad my girlfriend and I left a comment for the order number which was completely wrong and food was messy and did not taste good - we were in a nice way asking for a refund.... MANAGEMENT NEVER REACHED OUT. The second time I came while my gf was out of town and simply wanted good old TB drive thru. My order again, botched with missing items and what seemed to be an overall sloppy job of throwing food into wax paper folded up. I again wrote them a disgruntled comment (both times providing an order number,time, etc) again, NO REPLY FROM MANAGEMENT. I loved TB but with all the delicious authentic Mexican food in San Diego I see no point to you anymore :( read more

After all of the much anticipated excitement for the Mexican pizza to be back on the menu and this is what they want it to look like? We ordered two, one had very little meat, the second one had very little beans. You can see in the pictures below what they looked like. That is ridiculous! I am very disappointed! Love this location ! Thank God it's close by since it's my favorite in Esco. Staff has always been either really nice or chill/ lay back. Food is not cold here (only one time a burrito) but still the service makes up for it. Can't think of any other instance that has been negative. Seems like a good environment to work in. Don't go in here if you're not fully vaccinated. Literally everyone was coughing! An employee was eating lunch in the dining room hacking it up, coughs behind the counter, the four or five guests eating were all coughing and no one evidently has heard of the renewed mask mandate (working employees did have theirs on). Sort of a weird thing to point out I know but I haven't heard that much coughing in one place since I quit going to Grateful Dead concerts. read more

This Taco Bell is the worst. Waited in line forever, asked for the fries box and a skittles freeze drink and my drink was half way. Like I payed full price for this and they didn't even bother to fill it up all the way. Honestly didn't even want to argue with the person at the front because he seemed rushed but seriously? No one answers and answering machine says memory full it is 805pm now. I'm hoping a manager reads this and gives a whole for inconvenience. But the kids there are really nice. I don't know what happened to Taco Bell, but the food doesn't taste like it did pre-pandemic. It used to be savory and satisfying , but something changed. Refried beans are like soup. Cheese is as if someone scraped vinyl and added yellow dye. Tortillas were stale. What a shame. Seems the new people in their taste kitchen have lost their gustatory senses. read more

Got a late night craving for Taco Bell, drove across town to the only one open until 12 in Escondido... got there about 10 minutes before closing and was just ignored in the drive thru. I totally understand that coming to get food 10 mins before close is not ideal (I miss the days of late, late night Taco Bell!), but if you're not gonna serve customers, you might as well change the hours accordingly as to not waste anyone's time. This was my first trip to this location and it's bummer it'll be my last! read more

The people around me were friendly, and one gentleman even mentioned this was the place that used to be near Peterson's Donuts. Overall, it was a great first impression and I left happy, already planning to come back. Fast forward to today, Saturday, April 25, 2026 around 10:30 AM, and unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. This time there was a young woman working the register, and from the moment I approached, she didn't seem very welcoming. I told her I wanted to order a breakfast burrito but wasn't sure what kind I wanted today. She told me the only options were bacon, egg, cheese and tater tots, or egg and cheese. I politely asked if I could add ham and sausage and pay extra, since that's what I had ordered before. She immediately responded that they "didn't have that type of breakfast burrito." A few minutes later, another woman called my name and handed me the burrito. I sat down and realized it wasn't cut in half like I requested. At that point, I had to go back up and ask for a plastic knife and fork just to cut it myself. Which was not a problem or issue for me. I ate half of the burrito, but honestly, it wasn't nearly as good as the first one. The taste was underwhelming, and by the time I left I was just so disappointed. I ended up throwing the other half away after I left. Consistency matters, especially when the first experience set the bar high. The food was great the first time, but the service and quality were lacking the second time around. My honest opinion: if someone is having a bad day, they probably shouldn't be the first face customers interact with at the register.
