I ordered a Family pack which is 16 tenderloin strips for family of 7. It usually feeds everyone. This time it did not live up to the usually service. I picked up the food and got home and divided up the food, I noticed that some of the strips were extremely small and that there was only 12 strips. I called the store to get the missing food and they told me at first that they cant fix any orders picked up via Postmates. But they told me to bring back ALL of the food and they will remake it. I had already given some of the food out to my kids who already begun eating it and I just wanted the 4 pieces that were missing and replacement for the wings that were way to small. I had my wife go bring in the food, she 5 months pregnant brought in the food and they gave me the 4 but the 3 wings that were .25 size of what I usually get they threw away and I was like what about those 5 wings and they said that the 4 all they can do. My wife said this is food for our kids and the girl Gladys said she didnt care about the kids and said that its not her problem. After she told me this I angrily entered the store demanding to talk to the manager for that poor excuse of customer service. Kiki the one I talked to on the phone said she was the manager, found out later she was just a supervisor so she lied. I told her my predicament and asked her what if I was you, how would you want me to handle your problem, this is all too much fuss for a few wings. After trying to reason with her she made 2 more wings. So lets update the count. Ordered 16 tenderloin strips was given 12 pieces of chicken, 7 being okay, and 5 that were the size smaller than a chicken wing ( think they were the boneless bites) I brought back 5 pieces they gave me 4, so now I have a total of 11 pieces, I ordered 16 pieces. Even when she looked at the chicken she said that not a complete piece and I said exactly. She goes to the back and talks to the her cashier gladys and a cook as they pointed and it seemed they were complaining about me, yet I was right there watching them and that is unprofessional. I worked the food service industry as a restaurant manager and no matter how mad you get at a customer you do that behind the scenes not in the open window kitchen. I asked for the real manager name and phone number and I left, having to get my kids McDonalds. This morning I called Diana the GM of the store. She seemed to have their back and seemed they did nothing wrong, she told me Im sorry for your bad customer service, and I that all she said. Nothing to make it right no half off not even 10% off. I have eaten at this wings and things, epic wings since 2004, and now I will eat else where as the lack of respect for customers with kids, pregnant woman is not there and the unapologetic tone of the GM was just a kick in the nuts. Anyways, my brother had just walked in and I told him what happened, and he said he'd go back and take the strip. When he got there, the manager argued with him in front of customers and denied that the chicken was undercooked. She also pulled out utensils and cut into the strip, as if she didn't believe my brother. Keep in mind this is at 9:50pm. Ridiculous! The issue is not about getting my food made again or getting my money back. The issue is about serving quality service/ products to ensure no one gets sick. You get two plates, each with half of what I just listed. I ordered mine with mild sauce and ranch the first time and my boyfriend got lemon pepper and ranch. That Wednesday the chicken came out super hot (temperature wise) and I loved it! The sauce was delicious, and the breadsticks were amazing! My boyfriend really enjoyed his lemon pepper as well. The 2nd time, I ordered the same thing except with bleu cheese, and my boyfriend got what he got last time. This time I wasn't impressed. The food took forever to come out, and when it did my chicken was room temperature! It seriously felt like the whole time I was waiting, my chicken was sitting here. I seriously felt sick eating it. The prices are fair for what you get...for $6.95 you can get wings, celery and carrot sticks, 2 breadsticks, and a side of ranch/blue cheese dressing (your choice). This place is pretty big, but your order can take a while to come through...still, it's not bad. I've been to worse where orders took forever. The restaurant has plenty of seating and is clean. There are a couple television sets and noise level is fairly loud. This place seems pretty popular from what I saw yesterday, but I thought the wings were okay. Not because I didn't think they were spicy enough (I'll get to that later) but the way they were cooked. The skin is course and dry, not like any other Buffalo wings I've ever eaten. Texture could be different/better with the other strips, but I would expect something a little better for something as ubiquitous as Buffalo wings. I think Wings N Things likes to hide the rough texture by dousing them with their hot sauce...not that I consider that a bad thing as I like hot sauce, but you can't hide texture by doing that. I ordered their wings with the Atomic Hot Sauce, thinking I could handle it. I always like to challenge myself when it comes to spicy food, especially when I don't consider most American food to not be very spicy. The first couple wings went through just fine; however, by the time I got to the fourth wing, my nose was running and my mouth was on fire. I've been served! No wonder there is they have this 12 atomic wing challenge. What I order: 24 wing family pack with carrots, celery, and 8 bread sticks. My colleague and I got 12 hot buffalo style and 12 honey bbq. The flavors were amazing! The honey bbq was smokey but sweet and the hot, well...was pretty awesome. The bread was hard on the outside but very soft in the inside. We were given a large container of ranch to go well with everything. We ordered chicken tenders as well and in my opinion that stole the show. The only thing that keep this location from being a 5 was the location itself. Very busy and full of traffic. The parking lot was small which shared its boundaries with Pizza Hut and Starbucks.
