4 pc Tenderloin Strips Meal ($13) + Fresh Cut Fries ($5)

My first time coming to this location (used to go to the SDSU one as a student) and the food still hits! I always get the garlic parmesan tenderloin meal, the chicken is so flavorful and juicy! The ranch is also so good and the carrots are a nice addition to the meal. The breadstick is a bit dry so not my fav. Fries are pretty thick and crispy! Parking can be hard but there is additional parking in the back. I would definitely come back

This is the closest Epic Wings to the UCSD campus and I mean when I'm craving wings it's kind of the go to. The food is honestly always good although a bit pricy but that's also kind of expected if you consider the area and the amount of food you're getting. I personally vote for the Tenders Meal that comes with: 4 Tenders, 2 Bread, Celery & Carrots, and 1 Ranch. I'm a religious Medium Buffalo kinda person at these kinds of wing places so that's the only thing I can full heartedly recommend. My friend is also a medium person, just cause hot has a weird flavor almost like chamoy which I really dislike. The interior is also really spacious and they have the news playing. I didn't even realize watching the news could be so entertaining and the bathrooms are clean with no code needed to enter. They even asked if I wanted a water cup, overall sweet people and nice place. I've been here and I'll definitely be back. Overall, DAYGOEATS APPROVED

At $13.95, I FULLY expected my meal to be delivered to my table by a wheel barrel. I also expect an outlet to charge my phone while I eat. I also expect to take home some leftovers. I recon 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Some cattots and celery would have been a nice touch. I'm still struggling with paying what I used to pay for splurge meals on very special occasions for an everyday meal. - One of the downfalls of being a Baby Boomer, I suppose. I ordered from the app. I would like the app to allow me a Veterans discount. It did not , but I've yet to find one that does. They had the Cardinals vs Padres game on the big screen TV tonight. This evoked fond memories of the 50's through 70's when I watched the Cincinnati Reds on TV with my dad. But you don't want to read about my childhood memories. I'm guessing you stopped by to read my unbiased review of Epic Wings on Convoy. I wish I had caught the young lady's name that served me. She was friendly, had a nice smile, and answered all my questions in a way I could easily understand. I liked that she asked me if I'd like my drink while I waited for my food, before I could ask for it. My food arrived sooner than expected It had 3 nice big tender tasty strips of chicken, 3 breads ticks, pickles ranch dressing, and I opted for the sweet chili sauce, which they provided pleanty of. It was very good but a tad hotter than I've began to enjoy as I've gotten older. Note to self : next time pick a milder sauce. The place was clean and nicely decorated in a sports motif. While I enjoyed my meal very much, it's too expensive for me to visit on a regular basis . I will keep it on my radar when I want to splurge.

We typically prefer going to the Mira mesa location, but we were in the area. Used to be called Wings n things.. which you can still tell by the signage on the window. This a great chicken fries place. Our go to is: Garlic Medium Chicken Fries. The chicken is so moist and flavorful. If you like your fries crispy, you won't get them here. I'm not a chicken fries person typically but it's yummy here !!

One of the worst wings I've had at a restaurant hahaha really nice worker though. Parking in this plaza is tough.

I called in my order to go so once I arrived it still wasn't ready Then once it was done the guy in the front never gave it to me until I asked about my order it was sitting around getting cold Usually when I dine in at a early time the food is fresh hot & on point but this time it was soo dry & cold as you can see in the photo it's dry. The customer service this time wasn't that good because he knew I was waiting for my order & didn't stay on top of it to get it out at a timely manner.

Love this place. They have amazing wings with a variety of flavors! Also have a better deal on breadsticks than Olive Garden. Their pizza sticks are THE best. The service here is top notch. Great place to watch the game, hang with friends, or just treat yourself to some delicious food.

We chose to get 3 orders of the crispy fried wings with sauce (9 pieces), because we wanted to try three different sauces. The crispy batter for all of the wings stayed quite crispy, even though the wings were tossed in sauce. My favorite one was the signature sauce (yangnyeom) which was the perfect mixture of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. It has a slight kick to it from the gochujang. My second favorite was the honey soy, and the third was the cheese flavor. They were all tasty though! We also got the tteokbokki which is chewy rice cakes with fish cakes. It was good, and a pretty decent size for $16. The only dish I wouldn't get again is the corn cheese because it was a bit overcooked. Overall, this is an amazing choice for Korean fried chicken in SD, and I'd definitely return.

Came here on a Sunday evening and was surprised that there weren't many people dining inside,…read morealthough there were definitely plenty of to-go orders coming through. My party and I decided to dine in and ordered the family special, which included 24 wings, veggies, and breadsticks, and we added fries on the side. One thing I really liked was the option to choose up to three wing flavors. We decided on mild buffalo and lemon pepper with extra seasoning. While placing the order, I made it very clear that I wanted extra lemon pepper seasoning but did not want the wings overly drenched in the butter/oil base. The cashier acknowledged me, but I noticed she never entered the request into the register, which honestly became my first red flag. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assumed maybe she would communicate it directly to the kitchen... unfortunately, that didn't happen. After paying upfront and taking our number to sit down, it seemed like there had been a rush before we arrived because several tables still needed to be wiped down. I had to request for our table to be cleaned, which normally wouldn't bother me, but it was disappointing seeing one employee standing around while another staff member was clearly overwhelmed handling the register, bagging to-go orders, and assisting customers. When our food finally arrived, the mild buffalo wings were delicious, the fries were hot and fresh, and the veggies were crisp. No complaints there at all. However, the lemon pepper wings were exactly what I feared they would be -- sitting in an excessive amount of oily butter base. I explained again to who appeared to be the manager that I had specifically requested extra seasoning without all the excess oil. Her solution was to bring extra seasoning on the side and suggest that next time I order it that way from the beginning. But the issue wasn't the seasoning itself -- it was the preparation. Once the wings are swimming in oil frying, coated lightly and dried, sprinkling extra seasoning on afterward doesn't really help because it doesn't stick the same way. It just throws the whole experience off seeing your food swimming in visible oil. I ended up having to remove the wings from the excess buttered oil myself, request another plate, and re-coat them at the table. At that point, it felt like I was finishing the prep work that should've already been done in the kitchen. Overall, I'd give this establishment about 3.5 stars. There's definitely room for improvement when it comes to lobby cleanliness, teamwork during busy periods, order accuracy, and food prep consistency. This experience wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't the best. I'd still recommend this location because franchises can vary depending on management and staff, and the food itself was fresh and made to order. If I'm ever back in the area craving wings, I'd probably do takeout next time and make extra sure my lemon pepper wings aren't overloaded with oil.

What made it worse was the attitude as I was leaving, both employees were laughing and smirking, clearly mocking the situation. Completely disrespectful and immature behavior toward a customer. After looking through older reviews from 7 months ago, it's obvious I'm not the only person who has had issues with the "no cash" policy and poor customer service. Management keeps replying with "your feedback is important," but clearly nothing has been done to address the problem. Customer concerns mean nothing if the same complaints keep happening over and over. I won't be returning.
