Last time I got epic wings was in college but it's still as good as I remember! My first time at this location and parking is a bit hard to find but there's additional parking in the back. Inside is spacious with tons of tables. My sister and I shared the 4 piece garlic parmesan tenderloin single meal and fries and it left us stuffed! This is the closest Epic Wings to the UCSD campus and I mean when I'm craving wings it's kind of the go to. Can't say enough bad things about this location! Never any garlic butter on the bread, really basic. Requested to have it added and the entire to go bag was soaked in garlic butter. Thanks for taking it so literal. The app has its issues and it's understandable but this location handles it the worst out of any other location in San Diego. I always request a side of carrots with more ranch in the app because it isn't an option... I would pay for the ranch if I could obviously. I assume most locations know it isn't an option in the app and they just give the ranch to me. It would make sense for the carrots to come with ranch anyways. Other locations make it seem like it's supposed to come with ranch I guess since the description on the app ONLY says carrots / celery, they got me by definition. This location every single time charges me for ranch (after I already placed a mobile order) and when I asked them why they charge me and other locations don't they said it's because this location charges for ranch... Do they charge for ranch with the meals? No... So they shouldn't charge for ranch when you're ordering a side that should come with it. I am at this location too often for them to treat me like this. Friendly employees, good food, bad management. I ordered a double meal over the phone which comprised of 8 tenders, 4 breadsticks, ranch, and veggies. I drove to the location to grab the food, and everything went fine inside the store with the employee working behind the register. It wasn't until I got home that I realized they gave me the alternative option of the double meal which is 12 wings instead. (Which I get it, I could've checked the bag before leaving to make sure the order was accurate but admittedly, it was a long day and I just wanted to get home to share a meal with my girlfriend and call it a night.) I called them up to let them know that the order was not accurate, to which they said sorry and to come back over with the food so they can show the manager (Javier) the mistake and get my order fixed. Once I got back to the store they swapped out the wings for the tenders and just said sorry. I asked if it was possible to get some store credit or even just keep the wings for compensation since I had to drive back to the location (in the rain), on account of their error to begin with. They said that the manager wouldn't allow it but they would ask again anyways, which I appreciated them at least trying to help the customer out. The manager of course said no, dumped the wings in the trash, and offered an extra breadstick for the trouble. Which to me is wild because we just ordered 4 breadsticks, what difference would a 5th breadstick make in a situation like this? Just speaks volumes to how much this manager disregards it's customers, for a reason I can't find. I've loved this place for years but wont be returning after this interaction. read more

The guy at the register wasn't exactly friendly nor was he rude, he just seemed like he didn't care - so customer service was just meh. The food came out around 5-7 minutes later. The portion size for the fries were huge, but the cheese was not melted - it looked like it was some packaged cheese that was just thrown on. My plate of boneless wings were super salty, I think it was the sauce. It was so salty I couldn't finish it all, so I tried eating it with my breadsticks and veggies. Also, the boneless wings were drenched in sauce - I know some people like that, but I did not ask for extra sauce or anything. I felt like my poor boneless wings were drowning in the buffalo sauce. The boneless wings were soggy from the excess sauce and they were also pretty dry. I wasn't a huge fan of the boneless wings. The good part of the meal was the breadsticks! Super buttery and garlicky, I was a big fan of them. My friends fries were okay, I tried a fry and they were just kinda dry and could definitely be better.
