The outside is a bit weird since they blackout all of their windows, so we were unsure of whether or not they were open/it's the right place. We made an online order and it was ready by the time we got there. The Chicken 65 Pizza was my favorite and it is absolutely an explosion of flavor! While it's very savory, the added tomatoes, cilantro, and red onions really help to balance the overall flavor. I am a huge fan of their white sauce and I encourage anyone coming here to get at least 1 pizza that has it. It's really life-changing. We also got the Shahi Paneer which was also very tasty. I was skeptical of the curry and pizza combo, but man was it TASTY! We got the pesto pizza sticks (tasty) a paneer pizza (even better ) and the chicken tikka pizza (absolutely delicious)!!! I will definitely go back here again, as the staff was super nice and the service was also fast. My only negative comment is that the acoustics in the restaurant are very loud and echoing. We were a group of 4 and we could barely hear each other because of all the noise from other patrons in the space. I went on a Tuesday evening around 6pm and we were seated immediately. There was only one menu for the two of us which was a little inconvenient as I was sitting across from my friend but the food was pretty good so I would definitely come back. The large and XL pizza sizes you can do half and half, so we got the achari ghobi and chili paneer since they both had little hearts next to them. We got the large size and had 3 pieces left, so it was a good size for 2 adult eaters. If you're particularly hungry, the XL might be a better bet for 2 people though. The achari ghobi was definitely our favorite of the two, which was unexpected! I think both were really well seasoned and I liked them a lot, but if you're sensitive to spice I would try to ask which ones are least spicy because they have a little kick to them. I didn't find the chili paneer spicier than the other one, as a heads up--I think I would have liked it more if it had been spicier. There was tapatío on the tables though. The interior is mostly like a sports bar except there's a very large mural that takes up one wall. Came here on a Tuesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place was packed but our friends arrived before us and were able to get a table. We had a large group (between 10-12 at any given time) so a few of us stood seeing the table to accommodate as our table was for 8. I think they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was since they had 2 people in the front with the manager checking in on the tables, asking how things were and if we had any recommendations. Our party was patient and did our best not to overwhelm the staff, so at times we went to the bar area to get the drinks so that they didn't have to bring them over. They were busy all night and there were often people coming in to pick up food and waiting for tables. We got a few pizzas which they let us do half and half of different orders, wings, and some potatoes. They don't skimp out on toppings and every piece was well covered. I had a curry chicken slice, a cauliflower and potato slice and some potatoes. All items were well spiced. If you're sensitive to heat, it was just on the edge of a bit too spicy. Our friend's daughter wasn't able to enjoy the potatoes and a few types of the pizzas as it was too spicy for her. For me, I really liked the flavors. Based on my friends opinions, they had a good beer selection as well. I also appreciated that they offered the option to have two flavors for the larger pizzas. Curry Pizza House has opened in the Mesa Shopping Center of Mira Mesa. It's affiliated with Hidden Tap & Barrel as they share the corner suite. The plaza was dense with two levels of businesses which meant the parking lot was frequently near capacity. The interior decor was both modern and whimsical with neon light fixtures and cartoon murals on the walls. The bar had four spots while a mix of countertop seating and tables could seat about three dozen customers. All the pizzas were made to order, and nothing was sold by the slice so keep that in mind. One menu page was dedicated to pizzas that were separated into two categories, Classic and Craft Curry. Of the nearly 20 varieties in the latter, I picked a small (10") Curry Chicken Masala. The toppings were curry sauce, cheese, diced tomatoes, red onions, bell peppers, curry chicken, and cilantro. It took about half an hour before my takeout item was ready. The kitchen did not skimp on the ingredients, and the product was well-assembled if you look at my photo. The curry sauce was mild while the rest of the toppings were balanced and flavorful. A bonus was that I received a 25% discount for my visit during their soft opening period. If you are a pizza lover with an adventurous palate, then I am certain you will find a pie from the 30 combinations (or build your own) that will suit your tastes. read more

Well, this place was absolutely delicious. We were trying to decide some place unique to bring and try for our annual scary movie night with friends, and we landed on Curry Pizza House. It was hard to decide what to order since there were so many choices but we landed on the following: - Achari wings - Desi Garlic sticks - Ordered Half / Half Pizza - Lamb Kabob - Chili Paneer Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and had terrific flavour. Very unique. I had read an earlier review that said the lamb kabob was not very flavourful but I would disagree as I thought it had a lot of flavour. I don't mind gamey meat at all, but I wouldn't say it had a very strong lamb flavour. The meat was tender, the pizza had heat. If you're looking for a non vegetarian or vegan choice, this is great for a meat lover (who likes lamb). The Chili Paneer had a stronger flavour, and was my partner's favourite out of everything. The crust is pretty great - these are really good pizzas. Out of the only other time when we tried an Indian flavoured pizza, the crust was the main complaint, but Curry Pizza House has a really good crust. I think my favourite was actually the desi garlic sticks as I'm a sucker for maximum garlic and had a great flavour. I'm a sucker also for onions, so it offered a nice little crunch. They're cut up into small rectangles so they're perfectly sized as opposed to large typical pizza slices. I was so excited (and hungry) trying the food that I forgot to take pictures! When we went to pick up the pizza we were pleasantly surprised with how clean the interior was and the staff was super nice, got us extra sauce. They have large televisions everywhere and a nice bar area too. The lighting is nice and bright and the establishment is welcoming. I enjoyed the comic painting on the wall as I feel it's a bit unique. The owner must be fun. I still don't eat indoors, and I didn't see any outdoor seating, but other than that I think it appears to be a cool place to hang out. If you love Indian food and love pizza, it's hard to picture that this place would disappoint anyone. However, if you're also not confident about Indian flavours, they make all the traditional American types of pizza too if you're not ready to dip toes quite in. read more
