Came in to Epic Wings N things because VA doesn't have anything like this. Everything on the menu look the same, taste the same since the last time I've been here. It's been over a few years since I move to VA and been craving some Wings N things. I love there breadstick here it so bomb. Well, I'm here writing about how much customer service has changed here. And it's a good thing. I was greeted by the girl at the cash register once I walked in. I think her name was mirlinda. She asked me if I was familiar with there menu which I was. She took my order very promptly. Asked me if I wanted extra breadstick for a few dollars more. I said YES! Overall my order came out less than 10 mins. Wings are solid, but service is absolutely terrible. Fast food shouldn't take above 15-20 min, but there have been 3 separate occasions where I've waited 45 min to an hour. I go here almost every night after my gym workout and this place never fails to disappoint. I always get the chicken tenders prepared with mild sauce including bread and the veggie mix. The chefs Manny, Carlos and Noah know me so well that they always prepare my order upon seeing me. They are super nice and always cook the food to perfection. The servers up front always greet me with a smile and provide anything you need upon request. A big shoutout to Zach, Marissa and Sarah N. you guys are super helpful and always caring. They are quick on the register and always available to tend to a customer upon their needs. Thank you guys for making this place my favorite location. Maybe I was there on an off day. I love Epic Wings n Things and have been eating there for years before the name change. I usually go to the Kearny Mesa or College Area location but I was near this location so I called in a pickup order. 2 out of my 4 chicken strips were so over cooked they were inedible and the buffalo sauce was so watered down it was gross and runny. The bread seemed liked it could have been cooked longer and barely had any garlic butter on it so it was very bland. The vegetables looked old and gross, the celery was brown and both the celery and carrots sticks had other discoloration probably from sitting out too long. It's pretty bad when the ranch dressing is the best part of the meal and half the meal ends up in the trash. read more

I was the only person in the restaurant picking up food-to- go. Once I got home the entire order was wrong. I called and spoke to a manager and he apologized and said to bring the food back and he would remake it and give me a full refund. Although that was generous, I explained that I do not live or work close and it is too far for me to come back. He explained that it is against policy to refund without the food back (even if I bring the food back on a different day). So even though they are willing to remake food and give a full refund (spending more cost on their end) they will not do it without the food. Needless to say we threw away the food and spent money for no reason. I gave them 2 stars because the manager was actually really trying to do the right thing but his supervisor wouldn't let him make it right. read more

My boyfriend and I were just in there doing a take out for quarantine. We both ordered meals, and the entire meal is your wings, breadsticks, and veggies. You have to order drinks and fries extra. We got home and they had given us no breadsticks and only one set of veggies. So we paid extra for the meals to literally receive half of the products we paid for. For the cost, everything was all bad. We went in hoping it would be amazing, but the food was absolutely disgusting! I ordered the hot boneless wings and my boyfriend ordered the sweet bbq. The hot was so cut with vinegar that you couldn't even taste the heat. The bbq was crazy watered down. For a place right in the middle of college town, you'd figure it would be high profile enough to serve decent food, but I suppose they're taking advantage of drunk college kids. I felt the need to write another review for this location! I am always overly satisfied every time I come. I got the buffalo chicken fries for the first time today and I swear its the best thing my mouth has ever tasted. I will still get my regular order but these for a special treat is what my weekend needs. Not even that expensive either. This place is located on SDSU campus and as a long time customer of Wings N Things, I find this location to be a lot different than the others. Menu is the same as the other locations, but the atmosphere is more student oriented. I get the lemon pepper wings every time and they are always perfect. This place exceeded my expectations! I have been to many wings and things and this by far has been my favorite! Food was delicious, restaurant was clean and to top it off service was AMAZING!!! The moment we came in everyone was friendly and welcoming. The staff member (which sadly wasn't able to get his name) who took our order was super patient, helpful, and friendly. And the guy who took our food to the table was friendly and constantly asking if we were doing good or needed anything and offering to take away our trash for us. Thank you guys for being awesome! I had to write this review because I have been there 3 times since they opened and each time it has been excellent in every aspect. The food is authentic and delicious, the service impeccable, and love the local beer selections. Can't beat the great prices either! There is something about their sauces that is addictive.
