The beer here is great, lots of quality choices and a great environment but I was very disappointed in the burger. You can see from my picture that the burger pattie is VERY thin. The bun is also very plain like a market basket bun. This is a cool place to hang out with craft beers. However, the food service was not that great. Made my pizza wrong, no biggie. After waiting for at least another 30 min it still was not made. The waiter gave a piss poor excuse about the kitchen. I canceled the order. The manager I'm guessing, came out another 15 min later and said it was done if we still wanted to take it in which I said no. He got pissy and stomped off. We weren't fans. At all. When you first walk in it's "seat yourself " which you think is no big deal until it's busy and you end up walking around this huge place trying to find a spot. I get they're trying to cut down on staffing, but this feels super lazy and inconvenient. The staff were nice, but absent. We don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, but an occasional check in would be nice. My salad didn't come with its dressing. By the time the waitress finally came back we were done with our meals. Just a waste. Sorry, but the food really looked and tasted like cafeteria food. The nacho cheese tater tots were cold and the fried pickles were too hot to touch. Our sandwiches were bland and slim. Maybe the place should think about limiting the menu to just pizza. Lots of people seem to be getting the pizza. Where they shine is their beer. Very good and tasty which is why I gave them two stars, but again no waitstaff so I couldn't have a second beer. I know they're new and are feeling out the market. I think they may need to change the menu up A LOT and be a bit more beer centric. read more

First off, great location, ample parking...Now the food, they have legitimate south shore bar pizza that is as good if not better than I've had over the years..Comparable to "Cape Cod" from Brockton, or Monti's...Also great chicken tenders, deep fried pickle chips, and the beer...Ahh the beer, very good selection. I grew up on the South Shore and Epigram has outstanding bar pizza. The only thing missing is being able to get one with linguisa on it.

Went on Tuesday, February 25th and it seems the owner had their kid and a bunch of kids running around kicking menus and throwing toys all over the floor. Even the staff was shaking was shaking their heads. So the food. We ordered wings. They were good. Crispy with buffalo sauce. But we came for the South Shore Pizza that was touted on Phantom Gourmet. I guess I prefer good pizza, this was not. More like Pizza Hut pan pizza. Not worth for wings. read more

Pros: Beer was great Staff was super nice Cons It is way too bright inside. While I have no issues with kids being in a brewery/bar, they need some ground rules for parents or potentially an outside adult only space in another area. It was a nice night out and the patio was over run with kids who didn't have parental supervision. I get that it's fenced in so it's a "safe" area but definitely not a relaxing space for an adult night out. Welcome to the neighborhood, Epigram! Ever since I moved to Mass from the west coast there has been a sad, dry, brewery-shaped hole in my heart... So I'd been stalking this place online since I noticed the building/signs go up. It was definitely worth the wait! The Cali girl in me strongly endorses the avocado bites (they were fresh and beautiful and green) with the spicy (chipotle?) dipping sauce. The 'za is your typical bar pizza fare but it was perfectly paired with my cold beer- I can only speak for the Going Low IPA which was light/citrusy but the Temptation was also very popular. I will definitely be back to try their stout (and pretzels!) Only constructive criticism is that I noticed some patrons getting frustrated with when to expect a server vs order at the bar and tried to steer them in the right direction before they gave up and left. I don't know if they blew past the host who explained it to them or if they didn't understand (it was opening weekend and very busy/loud), but maybe some signage may help in the future :) Cheers! read more

What a fun place to spend the afternoon! Sat outside in the sunshine. The food and the beer are great and the service is great!

Tonight my husband and I stopped in for the opening night. He started with their flagship beer "Temptation" and I had a flight of 4. (Temptation,Eternity,Witty,&Going Low) Eternity is a new favorite! Beer was cold and delicious.I was surprised how much space there is and how many different areas for quaint seating are available. Fun atmosphere with music and a family friendly place with menu options for all. Peter the pizza man makes a killer bacon jalapeño thin crust pizza!From the second we walked in the door the staff welcomed us with smiles like we were visiting longtime friends. Ample room in the bar seats with a mezzanine over looking the brewery. Our bartenders were fantastic! Brianna and Joanna were a riot keeping things running smoothly and suggesting different options that we tried. You would never know it was opening night.The place was packed but never a long wait for food or drinks. Dan came over to say hello and welcomed every guest with some history of the new bar.He's genuinely a nice guy who was buzzing around along with GM Chris. They made sure to say hi to each patron that was great to see since you don't at most places anymore.The outdoor area is complete with heaters and ample lighting for a fall evening with friends. I was counting down the days for this brewery to finally open! I am really excited that this place is now in the Tyngsboro area. We went on a Sunday afternoon and to start I ordered a beer flight. For food, we ordered a cheese pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and some buffalo tenders. Our server was great and she would come by often to make sure that everything was OK. The beers were tasty and my favorite one was temptation, I took a four pack cans on my way home. The place has a clean looking industrial look and I would say that it was worth the wait for me! This place does have a lot of families that visit so I would say for parents to just be careful with their kids running. I look forward to going during the spring/summer season to sit out in the patio. read more

The beer and food are tasty. I'll go back again. The outdoor seating was nice, the turf under foot was comfy. The service was attentive without being annoying. My only complaint is that the shaker and goblet-style "pint" glasses aren't marked as pints. My pet peeve with many places that serve "pints" is that the supposed pint glasses are not actually pints, but something less. I wish we had more EU-style regulations that show that indeed you are being served a legit pint. Either that, or mark the actual volume served for a particular brew in the menu clearly. We're locals so the wife and I would come in all the time when they first opened, love the atmosphere the food and of course the beer! The bartenders are always awesome no matter who you have. Went to Epigram today with my daughter and her boyfriend to watch the Cheese It Bowl. The atmosphere was brewery perfect and the waitstaff attentive to our needs. We had the Pickle Bar Pie which was surprisingly good (never had anything like this). Also had a very good BBQ Bar Pie. An excellent variety of beers and a superb espresso martini (not brewery typical). Overall, an excellent experience that is highly recommended. read more

This place is my new favorite brewery around! If you're looking for great customer service good beers and excellent food this is your place. I came here with my wife and cousin before a movie and we had a blast almost sucked leaving but Mean Girls had to be seen... they had a live one man band whom sang beautifully and played the guitar just as good. We sat way upstairs because it was so packed but our service was just as fast as if we were right by the kegs and kitchen! Food and beer selection is excellent. The space is big and beautiful. Service started out great, even though it was incredibly busy. Our flights were brought promptly and appetize order taken right away. However, we were not visited again for a very long time, not offered another drink when our were empty, and waited so long for the attention of our waitress to place an additional order that we ended up deciding against it and tracked down our check. i say we waited for her attention because she was near us the entire time but was more involved in cleaning and rearranging empty tables than tending to her full ones. And there was no one waiting for those tables either, it was way less busy by this time. Not sure we'll return, at least not with the expectation of a full meal. read more

So we went there today. Food was good and beer was good BUT the sanitation practices are abysmal. The upstairs seating area over-see's the kitchen area... and it's bad, really bad- like mop the counter with a dirty rag, dip it in dirty mop water and then wipe off the knives and pizza cutters. We were so disgusted it's literaly a one and done. This is squarely on management. We even saw the manager (owner?) wipe his hands on his pants and then take hot peppers out of a jar, cut them and put them on someone's pizza and walk away. You all either need to train your staff better or shut down before you make someone sick. Pull your cameras and take a look- you are going to hurt someone if you do t take it more seriously. UPDATE: As I see this has been responded to... I want to be upfront the pizza chef was wearing gloves the entire time however it was someone completely else BARE HANDS who put toppings on a customers pizza and drove my review. Well that and, cleaning the utensils which were used for food preparation in the slop bucket used to clean the countertop. My wife and I went here for the first time today, and overall we were very pleased. We shared a pastrami sandwich which was plenty for us. There was an ample amount of very lean pastrami, and the Cuban bread was excellent. I was a little disappointed that the beer menu was pretty limited. I would have liked a stout or porter, and it seemed strange to me that they didn't have either. But the lagers we got were fine. This is a nice, new, clean restaurant with a lot of seating. I'll give it 3 stars because the food, beer, and waitress were good. THE ATMOSPHERE IS BASICALLY A PLAYGROUND THAT SERVES BEER!!!! And I'm not "being a Karen". I brought my one year old with me who almost got knocked down in his high chair by the 35+ kids RUNNING around our table. It looks like Tyngsboro Lacrosse had a meet up there. Omg - kids running all around, standing on stools, standing on patio furniture, running around the parking lot, girls running around doing tiktok dances, standing on top of the massive train looking storage crate. We were astonished not one parent (who was inside) came to look after their kids. It was literally wild. And I NEVER review places. And I'm not easily bothered. I'm shocked management did not have control of the establishment. The poor waitresses couldn't even open doors or walk by without a child running into them. I'll tell you, you'll lose a TON of business if this keeps up. I'm all for bringing kids to breweries, but as the parent, you should be looking after them. Also, the cherry on top was that it took an 1 1/2 hrs for ONE burger to come out. Ordered at 6:30pm and I got my burger at 8:15pm. Again, love the place, the food, beer, and staff, but if I wanted to go to a zoo, I'd go to a zoo. I eat out every night of the week. I was looking for dinner and I tried Epigram in Tyngsboro, MA. I sat at the bar and an older bartender handed me a menu and asked me if I wanted a drink. I said yes may I have temptation please. (temptation is their signature beer) She said could I have a credit card to start a tab. I said no I pay cash for everything. She looked at me like I was an idiot. Like I said I eat out every night. I have never been sitting and asked for a card to start a tab. It is different if I walk up to the bar and order. So she gets me the beer and walks away. I know that she saw me looking at the menu when she walked away. I watched a younger bartender ask the people around me if they wanted to order and get more drinks. When the older lady came back she kept her back to me. I had no intention of shouting to her ... "may I place an order"? 20 minutes later I finished my beer. threw 10 dollars on the bar and left. I went to Tremontes down the street and got great service and a pulled pork sandwich. I will not be going back to Epigram any time soon. read more
