Epiphany Bowling is the perfect place to host a surprise birthday party! Booking was easy, my questions were quickly answered by the manager via email, and they were in touch the week ahead of the party working through any final details. The staff was so friendly and professional, making us feel at ease throughout the party! Some tips: I bought an extra hour of time to decorate for a 40th birthday. They give you 20 minutes before your start time to decorate but I went all out with decor so it was worth the extra time! I had a Sunday afternoon party with 60 guests including adults and children. One party platter and 6 pizzas was more than enough to feed everyone and I was able to bring my own cupcakes and pasta salad (you can bring vegetarian options). I covered the bar tab and it really wasn't that bad for a Sunday party. Make a playlist! They can hook up to Spotify so it definitely made the party more exciting with a themed playlist. Tip the staff! They worked hard to help make our day special so we made sure to give them 30% gratuity on food and drink. Wheelchairs can make it through the front door and into the bowling alley! I came here for a Boyscout event. I had no idea what to expect. This is an old school bowling alley that is attached to the former school of the parish. It is a handful of lanes, maybe 8 in total. It felt like stepping back in time. We had the place all to ourselves and it is probably more of a rental than open lane sort of place. The venue is just as great as it was 20 years ago when I was in a bowling league there! We had my daughter's 4th bday at Epiphany- it was a great experience for all. We had about 50 people in attendance for 3 hours, it was great not having to pay per person. Lane 3 had issues which eventually caused us to have to move all the kiddos to another lane... gate (?) kept coming down at random times/ when we were bowling. Ed (?) and his son were very helpful and fun hosts. Unfortunately our food order wasn't sent to the guys ahead of time (even though I received an email back from the manager), but luckily they were able to get everything out in a timely manner. read more

Fantastic venue! We hosted a recruitment event for work here and it was the perfect place! Having a low-stakes, easy activity like bowling was the perfect way to break the ice and make conversation with attendees! It is such a fun, retro place and so affordable! We will be back! read more

We came here for a holiday work event - it was very casual, tucked in between a church parish and school, but very cool! The graphics on the TV were very retro and being there was like a blast from the past! The people working were VERY nice - with shoes, food, questions if the system wasn't working, etc. we enjoyed it! read more

I plan events for graduate students at Saint Louis University and Epiphany Lanes is my go to spot. The price is fair, the food prices are low, and they allow us to play whatever music we want to hear, which is appreciated by my international students. In particular, on our last trip a group of male international students seemed to literally be having the time of their lives.  I was watching them and thinking, "bowling is fun, but wow - I've never seen a group of people enjoying something so much in my life."  I think it was a combination of the free food I provided students, being able to bowl longer than they expected, and their personalities because these men did not stop laughing and talking for well over two hours. We had a great time bowling this week. St ambrose was looking for a Catholic schools week, middle school event and the lanes were a great solution. I had a great time here! This is a nice little bowling alley with all the amenities that you need for a fun night out! They have a total of eight lanes with electronic scoring. Epiphany has a decent size food menu and offers pizzas, chicken fingers, burgers, fries and more. They also have several drink options like bottled and canned beer, soda, tea and juice. Staff was friendly and helpful with ordering food, drinks and any questions and help we needed for the lanes. No worries if you don't have your own ball or shoes because they have many available if needed. They also have leagues, so call ahead to find out about open play. This is a great small bowling alley if what you want is old school, family friendly bowling. They are only open for open-bowl on MONDAYS from 6 to 9 PM. $10 all-you-can-bowl including shoes. The rest of the week they are open for league and private events only. read more

I bowled here for the first time this past week. Wow, this place was in a way a blast from my past. I grew up in south St Louis and attended a Catholic grade school that no longer exist ( it was sold and torn down) but I remember the old bowling alley in the lower level of the gym. At one time that small bowling alley helped support the parish and the school as I'm sure Epiphany's alleys still do today. It's good to see this type of place still going strong. Epiphany only has 8 lanes so don't expect massive bowling leagues but it's a great place as a neighborhood hangout and super nice for private parties. The bar has a good selection of beer and other drinks and the pizza chicken strips and toasted raviolis were great. Overall, I enjoyed bowling at Epiphany and look forward to returning soon. read more

8 lanes made a small rentable bowling alley for a semi-private event. They offer some canned beers and sodas at reasonable prices, but I did not try the food. The workers were very nice. The place is not the most modern, but has a nice 50s appeal. read more

I went there with a group of girls for a, get this, bowling/line dancing/silent auction! Squeal! This place is totally rad! They are super friendly and will bend over backwards to help you out with your group. One of our ladies had a birthday, and we brought it a cake, they were more than happy to offer a knife. Bowling was great fun. Food was typical bowling food: burgers, fried-fried-fried, chips, soda-type fare, at reasonable prices. A good family atmosphere. To be expected, as they are adjacent to the churge. Prices seemed pretty reasonable, but we did have a flat rate given we were a large group. Check their hours before you come-they are located in a neighborhood, so they close early some nights. But it really ties the neighborhood together. read more

I grew up here, went to school here, was a pinsetter here, & bowled here frequently. Place is like a diver bar but so much fun. Outdoes Tropicana & all the other ones. Seriously, great place. We had a great time at Epiphany Lanes. It was super cheap ($12/lane/hr - total - which includes shoes) and even cheaper beer ($2.75 Schlafly bottles). The attendant had generous amounts of 'tude, which only added to the experience. They're willing to accomodate late bowling, as long as you call them ahead of time, as their normal hours are pretty limited. I'm planning on making this place a habit. Only downside- limited selection of bowling balls. Plus they have food! read more

I can't say enough about this place! We had my 9 year olds birthday party here. The place has 8 lanes, great prices and food was tasty (think decent bar food). It's a great space for a birthday party. Because it's smaller and set inside of a community building- it's safer. I didn't feel I had to watch the kiddos like a hawk. It was the least expensive birthday party we've ever had. I think it would make a great couples night out with friends. They do serve alcohol. They also have some pin balls and arcade games. Plus no smoking inside which is great! read more
