One thing I love about Austin is the amount of coffee shops they have here. I love trying new places out and I haven't run out of them to try yet! This was a new one for me and I really enjoyed this place. The coffee was great, service was quick and friendly and it had a chill vibe and atmosphere. People sitting on their laptops, plenty of seating. They did have a small menu and some pastries. I always love when a place has almond croissants too because that is my favorite. They didn't have any but they did have regular croissants. I would definitely come back here.

I really appreciated how quiet and intimate this coffee shop is. It's a nice place to do work and has plenty of seating and outlets. I also appreciated how welcoming and safe it felt. The coffee was also great! I got an iced vanilla latte and it did not disappoint. Only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small.

Rude staff and the music was like Mario kart video game on steroids so over stimulating. The latte was way too milky.

5 Stars Epoch Coffee Your New Favorite Spot My boyfriend and I stopped by Epoch Coffee on a hot evening, and let me just say, it was a perfect decision. We were instantly intrigued by something on the menu called "freezeys," and after asking the barista what they were, she kindly explained that they're basically frozen, icy versions of whatever flavor you want. Refreshing and simple. Perfect for the weather. We decided on a matcha and a mocha, and I asked her about customizing flavors or adding sweeteners. She advised me that their mocha freezy is naturally sweeter and that adding more might be a bit much. I really appreciated that honest feedback, and she was totally right. Both drinks came out in under five minutes and were absolutely delicious. We were honestly blown away. We tried each other's drinks and both had the same reaction: "These are amazing." We had to pace ourselves not to inhale them in two seconds flat. They were that good. The barista was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly cares about the drinks she's making. That kind of service is a big part of what makes a coffee shop feel special. Inside, the vibe was relaxed and inviting. I was surprised (in a good way!) by the seating layout. There are two long communal tables that could seat about 15-20 people, which worked out great for us since we both had laptops and study materials. The smaller tables might not have fit everything we brought. Even though it was a shared space, everyone was respectful and it never felt crowded or loud. There's also a fun little game corner stocked with card and board games, it was such a charming touch. The music was a bit of a wildcard, but not distracting, and easy to tune out if you're trying to focus. All in all, Epoch has quickly become our new go-to spot. We've already joked (half-seriously) about making Sunday freezy trips a ritual. It's only a short drive away, and with drinks and service this good, I can't imagine not coming back. Highly recommend!

I tried the blueberry matcha ($6). I saw that it was on the special menu, so I last minute decided to order that. The server recommended it, saying that the blueberry flavor was pretty strong. So I had high expectations! Sadly, I did not really like this drink. It tasted watered down, even when I asked for less ice. I BARELY tasted the blueberry, it was only a very brief taste at the beginning of the sip. The matcha tasted okay. Lots of cool seating inside. Servers were nice!! Maybe their food or pastries are better.

I loved the iced matcha with passionfruit! The passionfruit flavor was consistent through the whole drink. I would've ordered it twice! I was visiting from out of state and heard of this place from a local. If I'm ever in town again, I'd definitely go back

What a good morning to get coffee and sit on a patio. This spot is at the top of my list for coffee shops in Austin. Walking in you are greeted by staff and lots of clean oxygen from all their plants. The coffee was great and we were able to order and were served within 5 mini of walking in. Great service and good coffee.

FIVE STARS for a wonderful ambiance. This Epoch Coffee location is such a vibe. My partner had me try this place while I was up in Austin one day (as it is one of their favorite coffee shops). I ordered an iced matcha green tea latte which was light, but just PERFECT. My partner ordered an iced americano. The staff were great and super friendly. Next time I am up in Austin, you know where I will be hitting up in the A.M.!

I really like this coffee house. There are two entrances (easy entrance from multiple parking locations).  There are tables of different sizes throughout the two rooms. This allows group meet-ups or small private conversations. The coffee, tea, cidar, and hot chocolate all taste wonderful.  They also provide really good service. If you're interested, they have merchandise for sale and have chair massages available for sign up.

Comfy and cute place with good coffee but not so good tacos. Blueberry matcha latte tastes great, rich matcha and coffee beans..tried the tacos, not very good

Rude waiter/owner(?) called me out for not tipping to his liking. If your minimum tip is $1 for a $2.50 drink, that's 40%.

I get customer service jobs are difficult but all you have to do is smile and pretend that you enjoy your job and enjoy the guest-this is particularly important if you are the employee who is dealing with the customer head on. I had an experience here girl made me feel really uncomfortable for not promptly understanding how their credit card swiper works (my card has money on it, i just didn't see you had to pick the tip option first before moving forward with the transaction). She blatantly and painfully expressed her annoyance at my slowness. I choose to pay cash as opposed to using my card (it was easier in the moment). She dropped the change back in my hand like my hand was diseased. She did not say thank you or "have a good day", the normal, simple, easy yet soothing platitudes one shares in their position. I'm not sure if she is perpetually moody, miffed I did not tip, or just irritated by my incompetence. But either, this is disheartening, disappointing and unprofessional. This situation has permanently deterred me from a continued customer.

Dog Day is located on Burnet Road. When I walked into Dog Day I was fascinated by what was going on inside. There are dog pictures on the walls for sell. These cute little doggie pictures are for sale with the scan of their respective QR code. They also have nitro coffee. If you're unfamiliar with nitro coffee, you're not alone. Here's the scoop...Nitro coffee begins as cold brew and is then infused with nitrogen gas, which creates tiny little bubbles that give it a creamy, velvety texture. It has the foaminess of beer. Important to note, it has no alcohol. They have an assortment of food- pastries, tacos and sandwiches. The coffee shop is large with seating space on both sides of the coffee shop. There is also outside seating. I ordered the matcha latte and a migas taco with potato and avocado. The matcha latte was initially too matcha-y. I added a lavender flavoring and it was perfect. The migas taco was especially tasty. Mark, the barista, was very friendly and accommodating. He said that Dog Day had been open for 1.5 years and the name was based on a love for dogs...surprise, surprise. Smile.

Once inside, you get this very comfortable feeling. Nothing over the top but still very nice. We were greeted by the hostess who seated us right away. Definitely make reservations. They bake fresh pastries daily and have them all on display for purchase even if you aren't dining in. Our server came as soon as we were seated and was very friendly. He recommended starting with the fresh biscuits with jam. It can take a little while to bake so order as soon as you are seated. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long; the biscuits are very fresh and I don't know what the jam was but it's delicious. I had the stuffed French toast and I think this was the first time I didn't put any syrup on the French toast. It was incredibly fresh and so delicious I didn't want to add anything else to it. I also had a side of bacon and that was the only disappointment. The bacon came out cold, and most pieces were extremely overcooked to make them inedible. Before leaving, we got a bag of the fresh baked pastries and they were amazing. The dining experience was quite good but unfortunately, we spent a fair amount of our time swatting flies away. Not a good sign. It was only my first time there so maybe that was just a fluke. Overall, very attractive place, very friendly servers and amazing food (except for the bacon). I will definitely return to try their lunch and dinner menu.
