Eppig Brewery at the waterfront is a beautiful spot for a beer flight! So many good choices and not a bad seat on the patio! On the weekends there is usually a bbq pop up or sandwich stall...always good quality! Service is friendly and quick! They now have several tv screens inside and outside for sports events. Take a guest in for the holiday! It's easy to spend hours here!
This is mostly a brewery. They usually have a smash burger vendor and the burgers looked good but what we love is to grab some fish tacos from Mitch Seafood a few feet away and enjoy them with some kombucha. There are picnic tables and several outdoor lounge chairs for you to enjoy the Marina view. Lovely during sunset. The service is fast and there are always cleaning the cups left on the patio. Fantastic casual date.
Great beers, fantastic views, and super friendly service. Tabula Rasa Porter is one of our favorites. Very yummy. Mulligan Amber Ale is great also. Good flavor, goes down smooth. Beach Bum Burgers were there. So we had delicious burgers with Eppig beers. And Multiple TVs to watch the World Cup! Life was perfect this afternoon. Nectar coffee also there. Lots of tables/chairs. Indoor and outdoor seating/couches. Clean and very well managed. Great spot for all!! And they are pet friendly.
Omg what a surprise! Definitely go here! Hazy IPA was divine!!!! So delicious. Amazing views inside and out we had the best time the staff was super friendly. What a beautiful spot to enjoy a great selection of beer by the waterfront in Point Loma! I ordered a beautiful delicious fruity drink! If you recognize it, lmk the name! One of the servers wasn't happy that I asked for it because he said it's not a real beer. Oh well, I really enjoyed it. They have events during the week. They also offer burgers and other treats! I will definitely drop in again to enjoy the lovely outdoor seating and pleasant atmosphere.
Eppig Brewing is a cool place to grab a drink by the ocean and enjoy good views. Parking is a little tricky. The beer wasn't my favorite, but they have a lot of options. They also have a pop up burger shop and smelled delicious! Servers are not so friendly.
Great brewery for good beer, group meet ups and beautiful views. We had a large group come here to watch the World Cup and it was so nice! They even had a pop up tent with a food vendor. Such a beautiful venue on the water with good beer selection.
Went here to meet up with friends. The parking is only for employees. Had to park almost two blocks away. No biggy, nice walk. It was such a nice day. We had a table outside. You order from a section outside the main bar area. They were supposed to have great burgers. I decided to get the Pig Beach Burger. It was so flavorful and I loved it. I would get it again. The staff were so nice and helpful. I got the pineapple cream cider and it was pretty good. Since I hate beer. We had a great time here and recommend the place

I should start by noting that this review is coming from a non-beer drinker. As of last night, I have now been to Eppig twice, both times when beer-loving friends have been visiting from out of town. As a non-beer drinker, when I go to a brewery, I look for a comfortable and scenic location, a place that is dog friendly, food options, beer that my friends enjoy, and at least one or two non-beer options (cider or wine) for myself. Eppig checks all of these boxes. First, they always seem to have some type of food booth outside. I'm not sure if they always have the same food, or if they have various pop-ups. Last night, they had pizza. My friend enjoyed some garlic cheese bread. Eppig is located along the harbor near Shelter Island, which is one of my favorite places in San Diego. We sat in comfy Adirondack chairs, watching the sun set over the city while we enjoyed our drinks. Next, my dog was welcome there, and she had fun meeting a few friends. Finally, my friend enjoyed his Hazy IPA. I, on the other hand, had a choice of three ciders. They gave me tastes and I chose the SPG Cider. It was smooth and not too sweet. It is rare for me to say that I look forward to going to a brewery, but I will definitely return to Eppig.
I've always loved visiting the Eppig Biergarten in Point Loma. You cannot get any better of an atmosphere to hang out with friends or family. It's absolutely beautiful by the marina with all the boats and there's tons of seating. I used to hesitate going there though because there wasn't food available for the longest time. Finally, you can get something to eat! There's an Italian woman that owns a downtown panini restaurant on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays that is serving up, bomb Paninis and a couple of salads, made fresh for you on the spot. We tried the spicy shrimp hoagie and the meatball sandwich and both were fantastic. Huge portions, wonderful flavor and ready in just a couple minutes. She also told me that when the weather gets a little bit cooler, she will be making fresh pastas!!! Yum! My only beef with Eppig now is that if you don't feel like drinking alcohol, they don't really have very many non-alcoholic options. They have a couple of bougie local craft sodas and tea, but I'm really surprised they don't make even one nonalcoholic beer or cider. I'm not always in the mood to drink alcohol but I love the atmosphere and the availability of food now. There is a big sober/drink less movement now and they are missing out on potentially attracting more people. Most of the other local breweries that I have been to have at least one non-alcoholic offering that's not a soda.
Great place for beers with a great view, right on the water. They had a pop-up for burgers. Menu looked great but we had just finished lunch. Our last visit there was no food so unexpected. We decided to just grab some beers to go and enjoy them back at our hotel (we have a nice private patio). Beers were great. We brought back a Double IPA, Eagle Ride and a Lager, 1866.
Found this nice ocean front view brewing spot, with tasty ciders and nice sunshine! There is a lot of outside sitting all around the brewery, lots of options to drink - and eat, along with nice staff! I will be honest though, I walked into the area feeling a bit out of place, it may because my friend and I looked much younger then the crowd that was there, or maybe I had an all pink outfit. Either way, I got over it immediately because I'm allowed even entitled I would say, to take up space in different places. Everyone should when going to new places! Still a great spot for catching up with friends, looking at the ocean filled with boats, and having some great drinks!
Hands down, Eppig is the best brewery with a view! Excellent location in Point Loma overlooking the Marina with great seating areas and a good selection of beverages. It's also excellent for dogs and large parties. I honestly could sit there all day watching the boats come in and out sipping on a flight of beer. While parking can be a little challenging, it's a great hang out spot and perfect for an after boating beverage! read more

Eppig has easily become my favorite brewery to visit on a sunny weekend day! They have a wide selection of beers on tap including ciders and sours and they're reasonably priced. The views are incredible with plenty of seating overlooking the water and a nice breeze that blows through the open indoor area. The staff is all incredibly nice and helpful when picking your drink! They do request that you cover outside brands logo on growlers if you fill them there, but I feel like that's pretty standard read more
Excellent place to kick back for some drinks along the waterfront. A super causal place that a wide selection of beer offerings in addition seltzers and ciders. If you are not interested in alcohol there some Addie drinks on the menu. Plus the brewery offers limited snacks for purchase such as nuts, pretzels, etc. if you fancy more, often on the patio there a food pop ups. The last time we visited they were offering bbq. The main reason I like to visit this place as they offer solid beer and cider choices. Something for every palette. To order you go up to the counter and grab a seat. There is a wide selection of seating indoors and outdoors. Inside you can find some comfy lounge chairs. Whereas outside there are large tables with bench seating plus a bar like area with stools overlooking the water. Plenty of umbrellas to stay in the shade. I prefer to sit outside to take in the view which is the main attraction. Cheers! read more

Really fun spot next to the water. Some of my family and I flew in that morning so we decided to stop by for a quick refresher. Lots of seating. Service was friendly and the beer was delicious. There was a food station nearby but we had already ate somewhere else, so I was bummed I didn't get to try what they had going on that day. Maybe on my next visit. I had one of their flagship IPA's - 10:45 to Denver. Super delicious. One of the best IPA's I've tasted. read more

One of my favorite breweries in San Diego. I highly recommend it. One of favorites is their Festbier. I also like their pink lemonade. This is my favorite location because of the views. Staff is very friendly. I stopped by with my dogs after a walk on shelter island and the staff was nice enough to help me by bringing out my beer to me while I held the leashes. I love this place! read more

My friends and I walked over after doing a tiki boat tour. I LOVE how many IPAs and lagers they have on the menu - my kinda biergarten. There's something for every taste palette, though. We ordered at the counter and managed to snag a table outside for the four of us. I wish I had tried a Michelada here. Next time! Such good vibes enjoying cold beers in lovely, crisp San Diego weather. read more

This place is great for groups. Came here for some beers and food after our boat cruise. You order and pay at the counter. They had a food tent pair up with beach bum burgers which was great too, but we got there when they were starting to sell out so they ran out of chips. We got a sour beer (forgot the name) that had guava, strawberry- delicious. Another beer my friend said tasted like "a bbq" . Great beers and food read more

Fantastic beer and even better atmosphere! Perfect place to meet friends and enjoy the view of the marina and downtown. You can't beat this place on a nice day. I can't believe it took me 2 years to find this place. I'll be coming back and is now my favorite brewery in San Diego. Staff was friendly and they had a great burger food truck. I think it's only there on fridays and saturdays. read more

Our license allows us to serve the beer we produce! We have a wide variety, and our Glitz & Glam Berliner Weisse w/ raspberry & cherry is often popular with wine/ cider lovers! Cheers!

We no longer have the food truck on-site on a regular basis - you are welcome to bring in outside food ! We do still offer a light snack menu (hummus tray, cheese & charcuterie, etc) as well. See you soon!
