[[HIGHLIGHT]]A lot of bars will have, at best, simple bar games and a few board games, but this one is almost centered around them. They had tones of free ones that were not crowded and most of which I had never seen[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lighting is also fun and unique as well. It is similar to an arcade style without being too jarring[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The beer itself was good as well. I got a hazy and it was nice and refreshing on the hot day we got there on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was some nice outdoor seating that, even with a nice sunset, wasnt too crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a nice place with atmosphere that mixes it up from the usual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had seen this place either on TikTok or instagram and it immediately caught my attention. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A cool ambiance, games, AND beer? Girllll, count me in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We grabbed five different small ones because flights are always fun and they had an interesting variety of flavors. Our favorite beer ended up being the pickle one, we grabbed a four pack on the way out. If this place wasn't two hours away from me, I would be here so often. This is definitely a spot I'll be coming back to whenever I'm in San Diego.

This is the coolest brewery i've ever been to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I recommend going at night because the black lights are so fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have 3D glasses you can use to walk around and look at the art work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The deck is very cool too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are so free games to play while you are there as well as a variety of drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do flights and have options like pickle beer if you want to get adventurous! If you're like me and not a beer drinker, they have cider. But my favorite options are their frozen drinks. Yummy!

Absolutely, Positively the BEST brewery in the Ocean Beach area. First and foremost the variety of beer is so good that you've got to try as many as you can. I had a flight to start and all of the 5 beers I tried were excellent. I favor dark beers so I went full pour on my absolute favorite, Chocolate Macadamia Stout. The OB Bubble Dubble a dark Belgian Ale was right up there as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As you take your time drinking your favorite, enjoy the VERY COOL vibe. The blacklight along with posters and artifacts bring out the atmosphere of one FUN place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They've got a lot of games to play as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On our trip to San Diego, (we stayed near Ocean Beach) we started here as our first stop and then 5 days later we made it our last stop. Just had to have one more of that Chocolate Macadamia Stout. Christie our bartender the first time was just so nice and accommodating in answering all my questions and letting me taste samples. She was just pleasant as pleasant can be. SO, if you're looking for GREAT beer at a brewery with a GREAT vibe with absolutely GREAT bartenders, check out Kilowatt Brewing in Ocean Beach. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

Lucky to find parking on the same block. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dog friendly space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their IPA's were pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a few other games besides pinball.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cool spot with a nice outdoor area to enjoy some craft beers in the sun. I enjoyed my IPA and my wife liked her Korean lager. Would def come back again in the future.

Loved the vibe of this spot! Glowing pictures and artwork with black lights, cool. You can even put on 3D glasses to enhance the trippy color vibe! Service was nice and you're able to sample stuff before you get your drink or flight of choice! I'd definitely come back for the awesome vibes, great music and fun selection of beers! Dog friendly :)

My girlfriend took me here, her favorite brewery in town. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance with great drink.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The background lighting is cool and fun to take photos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A psychadelic neon fest of beer! Kilowatt Brewing is a super cool spot with lots of games, lights, and of course beer. You can't miss the lights from the street as both the outside and inside are extremely colorful. I love how many different games they have too. They have fun group games like a maze and balance game. Plus they have board/card games in the back too that you can use. And next to the games, they have 3-D glasses you can wear to see the bar in a whole other way. We went before dinner on a Friday and it wasn't too busy. I got a flight of beer and I'd say that the ones I got weren't too memorable. I'm not sure what the maximum number is but the bartender said that you can have a flight in any 4/5 (maybe more?). But overall I think Kilowatt is a great place to hang out with friends since there's so much to do and see!

What a place! Not only are they a brewery but they are a place where your imagination and sense of competition can go wild! They have lots of games to play, 3D glasses and infinity mirrors! Not to mention the art! Neither my wife nor I drink beer which was no problem at this neon gem! They had 3-4 seltzer or malt liquor based drinks some of which were brightly colored alcoholic slushies! We sipped on the watermelon seltzer and took in the sights of all the cute dogs coming and going on a Sunday afternoon. It was truly a perfect random stop. The guy who helped us out had vibes just as chill as the spot he worked in! This place lights me up with 1000 Kilowatts of coolness!

Recently came in to a hat painting event with the fabulous Azul. This was my first visit to this location and definitely not my last! I love the decor and the lighting (black light). The place was clean and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. They explained the beers and assisted me in my selection, 250kWh IPA. I also tried their slushies which I must say were perfect! Not too sweet. The hat painting event itself was so much fun!!!! If you haven't been to one of the classes with Azul, I strongly recommend trying it out. Cheers!

I would die for their wings and the truffalo sauce, which you can order by the bottle for take home. Forgot to take a picture during my visit but they were piping hot, large wing that were sauced up beautifully. Staff is always friendly and the ambiance is a vibe. A classic tap room for sure. Beers are excellent and they even have ones that are rare to find like Cascade brewery (once the keg is empty it's gone forever, since Cascade closed). They note freshly tapped kegs which is nice too. 100% recommend. In fact I gotta go back for more wings soon.

I immediately enjoyed the open environment and the bar set up, but the high top tables were scattered seemingly randomly throughout the restaurant, making it very hard to weave your way through if you need to get to the back of the restaurant for any reason or to use the restroom. Our waitress was very friendly and always smiling, which was really refreshing. We ordered two drinks (not pictured), but I had a hard kombucha or cider that was made by the taproom and very delicious. We ordered the chicken wings and spicy tuna melt with sweet potato fries. Both items came out hot and we're satisfying, but you're not going to have an aha culinary moment here. All in all, I would definitely return for the drinks and atmosphere, but would not run back for the food.

As a girl who was born and raised in the Midwest with immaculate BBQ, I was skeptical that San Diego BBQ could be good (no offense I miss you Porky Butts in Omaha, Nebraska... this was the food I had at my wedding...lots of love!). But wow! I was super impressed by their brisket! Prime rib brisket...? Never had heard of her but wow was it so good. It wasn't dry which is easy to do with brisket and it was flavorful. Their BBQ sauce was good. Another amazing thing about Coaster Saloon is they have homemade ranch!!!! :') That was really good with their fries which were also good. The mac n cheese was also incredible. Food was great! Service was also amazing! We had a great server who was friendly and personable. They have lots of cool photos of Belmont Park from years ago as well as an open air concept with lots of seating. There is a big bar as well as lots of tvs inside. The virgin piña colada was probably the worst one I've had. It wasn't a typical white color of a piña colada and wasn't creamy it tasted more like lime citrus. I didn't enjoy it very much. Definitely would come back for the food, but not for the blended drinks. Well done Coaster Saloon!

A whole vibe. Absolutely perfect in this regard. I would myself go back for the vibe and ambiance. A few firepit tables, nice views. Service 5/5 Servers were warm, accommodating, so attentive from start to finish. Amazing service. Even from initially calling to coordinate - they were kind, helpful, set a custom menu and really was a fantastic experience. Food 2/5 ... maybe 3 for some *Beverages were fine *We ordered mainly the following: American breakfast: Eggs unseasoned, potatoes unseasoned, bacon burnt beyond edible, a few opened jams had mold in them Eggs Benedict: no complaints Fish n chips: Small portions overall, overly breaded, tiny fish portions. You have to request fries or these are served with chips. Chicken n waffles: Most people enjoyed but felt like a child sized portion. One said the waffles were incredibly sweet. Caesar salad: unsure Egg sandwich: fine I don't know if it was an off day because this was my first experience here but I feel like you pay for the vibe, food may be meh. Why 3 stars? When we had made our reservation days before we had requested a table next to the water and were told that would not be a problem. When we arrived, both hostesses did not acknowledge us, instead they stood in conversation with each other. Perhaps talking about restaurant business, I'm not sure, but to stand there and not be acknowledged for what felt like quite awhile felt odd. When we gave our name and said that we had spoken to someone on the phone (while also using an app and mentioning the seating request) that we would like to have a table next to the water, and when we arrived, one hostess acted completely annoyed that we asked if we were getting a table by the water. We sat in a back table outside, which honestly was fine. Our server was fantastic, attentive, and friendly, checking on us often. Only other fail for food was the shrimp cocktail, it tasted really fishy and was warm, even though it was on ice. We only ate half of one, but we didn't mention it to the server. The hummus with crudite was delicious, and the rosemary bread was outstanding! Mains were a wedge salad with grilled chicken which was very good! The hot honey salmon with quinoa we ordered and shared was also delicious.
