I wanted a new well pump because at 22 years old, I wanted to replace it before it suddenly stopped. The crew arrived as scheduled at 11 this morning. We discussed the symptoms and the plumbing. In my experiences in owning multiple properties and having almost every problem imaginable, I have to say "Epping Well and Pump" ranks as one of the best, if not the best company I've done business with. They said what they were going to do and did it with expertise. They had unseen issues, and one by one, and kept moving forward till they finished. The team work, by a group of young workers was a pleasure to watch. My well was updated from the 70's with a modern set-up and I couldn't be more satisfied. A sincere thank you to the folks at Epping Well and Pump. During the same week of a planned surgery our well started acting weird. Epping Well and Pump were able to come right out to us immediately the same morning which was impressive. The attention they gave the job was top notch. The people that helped were just about the kindest people you could meet (thank you Hank and Jeremiah so much). The problem was solved with their suggestions. The part that meant the most is that they continued to check back in and offer assistance to be sure we were all set before the big day. We had a fantastic experience with Epping Well & Pump! We called 2 different companies. It wasn't an emergency; we still had an operable pump, but it was running constantly and costing us a fortune on our electric bill. It was only a matter of time before it stopped working and we knew it so, we wanted to get it done before disaster struck! The first company came last week. (name begins with a C) They told us we needed to replace the pump and all the lines going out from the house to the pump. The price was $4k! We were in shock as we never anticipated it would cost that much! They wanted to do it there and then, but we wanted to get a second opinion, so we called Epping Well & Pump. They came out today and, they were fantastic in every way! Both guys (wish I had got their names), were great! They spent ample time diagnosing the problem and were extremely knowledgeable about what was going on. We were impressed as they explained everything to us in a way we were able to understand. They were polite, friendly, honest. We were told what to expect and what to do and not to do in the following 24 hours. In the end, we got the new pump installed and a new check valve. They did NOT need to install new lines! Total cost: $2350, a WHOPPING $1650 less that the first guy quoted us! What a relief to have the new pump installed and running perfectly! I can't wait to see the difference in our electric bill next month!! My husband, Beagle (they loved her) and I, could not recommend these honest and friendly guys enough! Unfortunately, I've had to revise my review and move on from Epping Well & Pump. While they gave me great service the day I had an emergency (8/3), communication after the fact has been very difficult. As of 8/29, my water still hasn't cleared up. On 8/7, I expressed concern to the tech and was told I would get a call from the office to set up someone to come to my home to put the cover back on my well (which was forgotten), to look at my water concerns, and give a quote on a replacement water system. On 8/13, I followed up with photos to the tech and noted that I hadn't received a call back and was told I would get one the following day. When he followed up with me to ensure I got a call back, I advised that I had not and this went on for 2 more days. On 8/16, I called the office manager to express my concern about the water quality and not having heard back and immediately got a call from the scheduler who was abrupt and argumentative with me. He kept insisting the water quality was not their fault (which I had not suggested) and I kept having to repeat my request for support to determine what the solution was . He explained that someone available on the 21st (5 days later) and when I asked if anyone was available sooner, he did get someone to me that day. When the tech arrived, he explained that the color could take some time to clear out but took 2 water samples to check on the safety of it and told me I would have results the following day, or Friday at the latest and someone would quote me on a replacement solution. On 8/23, I got the results from the water sample and learned there was bacteria in my water, likely from the well replacement. It also showed other water qualities issues that were likely from failure of my old system., I replied with concerns asking about whether I should shock it again and asking, again for a quotation and did not hear back. On 8/25, I messaged the office manager about it and on 8/27 messaged the tech. The tech did respond about purchasing a shock kit from the office. But I still don't have a response from the office with a solution for the other problems the water sample showed. I know that they've been very busy, and I felt that my tech was very knowledgeable but I don't appreciate the lack of responsiveness or ability to support me with a solution. What would've been a very easy sale for them and a continuation of the relationship the tech and office manager initially worked to build with me is lost. I've had to call another company. read more

We had issues with our water quality before we called Epping Well, Hank came out and gave us some options, we took one of them that helped but wanted a little better quality, called Hank back, he came out again, gave us a few more options with the understanding he wanted to save us money as much as we wanted to save money. We took all of his advice, went with his suggestions and now, issues solved. Hank definitely went above and beyond a lot more than we expected, a LOT more. He is knowledgeable, friendly and always shows up when he says he will. If I could give more than 5-Stars I would. Thank you Epping Well and Pump and thank you very much Hank. read more

We lost our well pump late at night. I called them the next morning, they had a very busy schedule but said they would be here to replace the pump and get our water back on. They kept me posted throughout the day of their schedule, as they said they would. Three guys showed up at 7pm! Yep...7:00p to get us water again. They worked on the job as if it were their first job of the day. It was a Friday night and we know they had better places to be after a long week, but they "rescued" us. We are so happy we were referred to them and will tell anyone who asks where to find a good well company! read more

This company is definite worth a 5-star review and then some. I had to replace main water line from outside the house into tank. The guys had to hand dig on a cold day in January I was quoted around 1500$ for the job I was told it would take about 7 hours. They showed up on time and finished the job in 4 hours. These guys are the best at what they do. Total cost was 720$ I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you epping well and pump. read more

The people were nice there. But after spending over 500 dollars on an installation of a new pump. The pump started to leak from 3 different joints. Getting water on my cellar floor. When I called for help they were too busy. They kept saying will try and fit you in. I have to revise my review. There coming in on a Saturday to fix the pump :) read more
