Lol Did a quick search on Google Maps and this shop was the closest to us. We arrived at the business and was greeted by gentleman named Kevin. I told him what our issue was. About 20 minutes later he let me know that one of the tire valve stems failed and was causing the tire to lose pressure. I pulled out my wallet and asked him what I owed and he said "don't even worry about it, you're traveling through with your wife, little one, and a pooch. I'm happy to get you back on the road and off to where you're heading" Now I'm not saying, go to this business with the expectation to get free service(s) lol but I just wanted to share my experience and I think it should at least show that the folks that run/ own this business are good hearted/honest people. They could have easily charged me $30-40 if he wanted but he didn't. Clean waiting area with amenities, friendly, quick service. Couldn't recommend these guys more if I wanted. They will NEVER do a repair that doesn't need to me done, or upsell you without consent. This should be baseline, but I've experienced this so many other places, especially in Kirksville. The price of replacing my radiator had me feeling physically sick for days because I had no idea if it would total my car or not. They worked around the budget that I had said to find the most workable price for me, and then when my transmission shot in my car 2 weeks later, they found a way to connect a minor transmission repair to my radiator and gave it to me for free. Saving me, what could have been, 100-1k at other stores. Their customer service is off the charts, very knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to bring my car here for the coming years.

Each time we asked for an update, we were told the issue was being handled, but nothing ever truly got fixed. After all the delays, excuses, and additional charges, we were finally told the repair couldn't be completed--after we had already paid them. When I picked up my vehicle, it didn't even make it a mile before dying on the side of the road. I ended up spending money, time, and trust for absolutely nothing. My vehicle came back in worse condition than when I dropped it off, and the lack of honesty throughout the whole process was incredibly frustrating. Showed up to DMV to renew license plate and they informed me I needed another one done. Called LTS to see if it would be possible to get A same day emissions test performed and they got me in within 20 minutes. They completed the oil change and let us know we didn't need to rotate our tires yet that they were too new and that would be needed at the next oil change. They explained to us how to get the mileage we needed on the car so they could do emissions. Didn't need a follow up appointment, pulled in this morning. They completed the emissions and I was out of there in 10 minutes. This place is crazy busy but I had no problem getting an appointment and getting taken care of. I'm so impressed that they were so honest and upfront about the tire rotation. They could've easily done that and just charged us even though it wasn't necessary. Definitely will be back to this place anytime the car needs anything. Was able to schedule the appointment online, which is so convenient! And, really nice friendly people!

I had a bad experience at mid America transmission. I had a Ford Focus 2014 that had an check…read moreengine light on. It only had 97,000 miles and they told me it was the clutch and it would cost $2000 dollars which I paid for. Then to found out a few miles later it came on again so they took it to a Ford dealer ship which found out they just need to update the computer. Which was free. So the conclusion is I spent $2000 dollars on something that was free and they didn't give me a refund. Smh
