I called ERB Handyman after finding them on Yelp because I needed a very simple job done: installing new door handles on 9 new cabinet doors. Each handle required only two screws. I explained that these were standard cabinets and standard cabinet handles, but instead of giving a basic answer or asking normal scheduling questions, he kept acting like the request was complicated and wanted pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was not custom work, not a remodel, and not a difficult project. If a handyman service cannot understand or handle something as basic as installing cabinet handles, that tells me everything I need to know. TLDR: mr. erb came to fix a leaky faucet and left it worse off than when he arrived. he was unable to fix a leaky kitchen faucet (it's an old faucet), but said he tightened it and cleaned it out. after he left, i went to use the faucet and the handle popped right off as if it wasn't attached at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]mr. erb returned to reattach the faucet handle four days later (response to messages was slow) and yanked on it to show me it was firmly attached.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] however, after he left, the handle again popped right off. [[HIGHLIGHT]]when i contacted him again (via text message and voicemail) to ask if he's able to reattach it correctly, he ghosted me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] also, he didn't clean up after himself during either visit. he failed to use a protective covering between his wrench and the faucet, resulting in the marks you see in the photo. he forgot to reattach the little plug with the logo (see photo) twice, and then attached it askew. [[HIGHLIGHT]]note: after i initially contacted him i realized i'd contacted him about some work seven years ago and he'd ghosted me then too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] tried giving him a second chance -- my mistake. read more

I had requested a quote via Yelp so they understood what I needed and they followed up with a call ASAP after that. I was able to set up an appointment for that very next week and Rich the handyman was right on time! I had several minor fixes and maintenance that needed to be taken care of (HVAC filter replacement, bathroom caulking, curtain and towel rod installation, kitchen light and light cover replacement and front door lock replacement). Rich came to my condo, took note of what was needed and then went and bought all of the necessary items on my behalf. He had receipts to prove what he spent and was able to take care of everything in half of one day. So far, I'm happy with the work, but I'll surely update my review if anything changes! read more

Richard showed up on time and worked efficiently. The new sink was 2 inches bigger. I don't know how difficult it was, but Richard never complained.
