Ugh! Do not shop here! Such bad customer service, no class! I ordered a piece of Jewelry, paid in full, even paid their special order "fee". Went to pick up my brass pendant to find out that only the front was brass and that it was lined and backed with silver. I have a silver allergy. I asked if I could get a refund or at least store credit, Was told that the owner would call me. I later get a message from who I'm assuming is a sales associate stating "The owner will NOT refund your money because it is what you ordered, Come pick up your pendant, Good bye" Like I said, NO class. Keep your pendant, Keep my money too I guess, you must really need it. Shop at Anthropologie instead! They carry a lot of the same home/body items and are cheaper if you can even imagine that. In Reply to Linda: Two things, when I ordered my pendant I DID mention that I only wear Gold or Brass and I guess It's my fault for assuming that a brass pendant would be......Brass? I was only shown a picture of the front of the piece. Second, When I went to pick up my Pendant, The very first thing the sales girl said was, "WOW, This was the third order we've had for these this summer, they've become so popular, my boss decided to bring them back and carry them again" So please don't pretend like you did me any favors. I love this place and so does my pup for everything they have done to help him. He was diagnosed with doggy dementia a few months back and had trouble sleeping and would be very anxious at night. The doggy cbd oil they offer here has been life saving for my dog! He sleeps through the night now and is so calm and happy. I'm so thankful for the staff here as they help figure out dosing and are always so kind and helpful. Let me start by saying this is my absolute favorite shop in San Clemente! Every time I have an event or an occasion where I need to bring the perfect gift I start here. Their selections and prices are fantastic. Why 4 stars? The only downfall is the lovely French lady that works there. It initially seems as though she must be the owner but she's not, she takes so much pride in this wonderful place that she follows everyone around and micro-adjusts what you touch. Great place for knowledgeable help and good selection. The prescription I was using for inflammation wasn't effective and I found this place! Looking for gifts for MOM, Aunts and my girlfriend can be tough. Erba ALWAYS has the perfect thing---always packed choc full of great gift ideas- even for us last minute shoppers. Last year I gave MOM European Verbena Body care and candles that she loved... this year, I found her some edgy and beautiful jewelry- she LOVED! Erba's staff is always so helpful...making shopping very comfortable, and they always wrap the gifts in a way I can appreciate. Erba has a lot to offer - body care, candles, now even Men's products for shaving. My favorite is the Jack Black shaving cream and deodorant (the only one that works for me.) Eek, me thinks not is right! My mom, 5 yr. old daughter and I walked in on 8/2 and the older lady working there neither greeted us or even smiled. She looked at me then my daughter who is a very well behaved, hands to herself little one, and made it clear with her expression she wasn't happy to have us in there. I wouldn't usually take this to heart, we are in a snooty OC tourist trap after all. But this isn't the first time I've had this experience in Erba. My mom likes their stuff so we went in for her. The sales gal made her feel very uncomfortable so we walked out as soon as we walked in. Their stuff is beautiful but incredibly over priced and if you look around you can find things that are just as beautiful elsewhere without having to endure the scowls of bitter old sales people who feel the need to judge. Waited for the very last minute to get the wife a birthday gift. Walked into Erba at 5:30 pm saw a unique assortment of trendy eye catching affordable jewelry that fit her taste perfectly. The salesperson took it out of the case wrapped it nicely (even sprayed the wrapping which was a nice touch) . Most guys like to shop as much as they like getting a flu shot, but this quaint little boutique on Del Mar street in San Clemente had me in and out of their shop in less than ten minutes. Now that's how a guy likes to shop. It takes me ten minutes just to find a parking space at the mall. read more

I like that I can know ahead of time that I can slip in quick and find something unique and thoughtful without spending a lot of time or money. I've been shopping at Erba since they opened on Del Mar. I've always been happy with their customer service until last week when I had an issue with a chain on a necklace I purchased. When I got the necklace home the chain was hopelessly tangled. I tried to cut the tag off the chain to help untangle it and in doing so accidentally cut a link off the chain. An hour after I purchase it I went back to the store to see if they could help with a repair. The saleslady that initially helped me said "You cut the chain" proceeded to give it to the manager then walked away. She was extremely rude. The Manager, who was sitting on the floor behind the counter assembling gift baskets looked at it, said I shouldn't have cut the tag and that she could give me the name of the designer and I could send it to her for a repair. She did agree that the tags are difficult to take off the chains and that it should have been taken off at the store. When I questioned that she repeated that she'd give me the address of the designer, etc. All the while she couldn't even get off the floor to come speak to me at the counter. Very unprofessional. I'm very disappointed will not shop there again and will be spreading the word to my San Clemente friends and associates. read more

I'm finally done with this store. I have had too many uncomfortable moments whle browsing in here. I always feel like the saleslady (with the French accent) is hovering over me as if I'm a thief, and answers questions like she's annoyed or disgusted. I've been coming into this store since it opened and have bought things many times, and frankly I feel like she doesn't want me in the store, so I am going to do her a favor and not return. Friends of mine have said the same thing about her and the store. The last straw for me was over the holidays. I bought some things and the saleslady and the owner were disdainful and rude. I was looking to buy a piece of jewelry for my sister-in-law and debating between something at Erba and something from Bliss down the street. I chose Bliss because I'd finally had enough of the haughty and obnoxious vibe of Erba's owner and saleslady. They talked to each other and gossiped about another customer while the owner's mother rang up and wrapped my purchase. I have plenty of money to spend and if Erba doesn't want it, fine!
