Not sure what I paid for on this delivery. My sandwich was missing almost all the ingredients. Just had turkey mayo and lettuce. No cheese. No avocado. Kids meal was missing the drink and chips, which I noticed right away and they fixed that. Then opened my sandwich and it's basically another kids meal plus lettuce. Real disappointing. Awful. Ordered and paid for a bowl of chili, but they gave me a cup (smaller size) instead. Ordered the Quattro as a salad - charged full price- got 1 slice of turkey and 1/2 sliced bacon and a bowl full of iceberg lettuce. Pathetic. Fail! A sandwich is a sandwich, but delivery sandwich should be fast. Ordered Erbs and Gerbs on a Sunday night after a long day of traveling-too lazy to cook. We placed our order online at 7:50, the system told us it would be delivered in 35 minutes. At 9:00 called the store and was told the driver left 15 minutes ago. Dubious. At 9:25 the driver showed up with our food. The store is 6 blocks from my house. I retain the right to be lazy when I'm willing to pay for it. The soup was cold when it got here, and we were starving and getting grumpy. There's a $0.65 fee to each sandwich for delivery, and the driver was shocked when I told him I wanted exact change. Sorry bro, you don't get a tip when it takes an hour and a half to deliver two sandwiches and a bowl of soup to a location six blocks from your store. read more

As I walked in this lady practically yelled at me to welcome me, I don't know about you but I don't find that particularly welcoming. Bread used to be good but it's started to taste reaaally undercooked lately. They are CONSTANTLY running out of things. Every time I go in they're out of some type of chips/soda/meat/cheese/etc. Whoever runs this place needs to learn how to properly run a restaurant. Either that or it takes absurdly long to get orders because they're horribly understaffed. read more

So disappointed! I haven't been to an Erbert and Gerbert's in years and was excited to see one while in town for a college visit with my daughter. We each ordered the half-sandwich soup combo. The sandwiches were barely kid-sized and the "avocado" on my daughter's sandwich was just a weird paste that looked more like something you'd find in a baby's diaper. My roast beef sandwich was ok, nothing special, definitely not worth the $10.87. Wild rice soup was runny and was bizarrely devoid of...rice. It didn't even necessitate a spoon, you could easily drink it as it was barely a thick broth. I wanted a small cup of mac'n' cheese ($5), that was good...until I noticed what appeared to be a melted plastic wrapper in it. Our meals, and then the up-charge to add chips and drinks, amounted to the bill for the two of us of $30. Ridiculous for the quantity and quality of the food. :( read more

We called for a delivery order and were put on hold for a few minutes. Because we were on hold (no longer than I have been at other places) they gave us a discount off ourmeal, a sincere apology, and very fast service. It was great customer service. read more

Two months ago I'd never heard of erbs and gerbs and then one day I decided to try it. Not only was the customer service off the charts amazing, but the quality of the food is even better. I love stopping by for a quick bite or sitting down and dining in. I'd recommend to anyone with any sort of diet restriction- their gluten free bread is amazing and their vegetarian option slaps!! 11/10 recommended on this food! read more

Meh. Like most chain sandwich shops there could be less bread and more toppings, and, let's face it, there's only so much you can do with ham, beef, and turkey. Sandwiches are only offered cold, and I like a hot sandwich. Strictly run-of-the-mill, Average. Inoffensive. Hardly even worth reading this review. read more

Great place! Service is always, quick & friendly. Sandwiches & soups taste exactly like other Erb & Gerb locations- as they should, because they are delicious. I've never noticed any issues with cleanliness as other reviews mentioned. read more
