Really cool space and Eric is the best tailor I have had the pleasure to meet in all my travels. Very glad to have him in the neighborhood.

We were greeted at the door by two friendly and warm associates who took us first to stop at the bathroom, and then to our couch and chair area with a mirror and a pedestal for proper dress viewing. Roughly two days before my appointment with Adorn, an associate (who's name I forgot!) called me to discuss my vision and what I was wanting to look at. They were really sweet and attentive before I ever even got there. Once we arrived and were with my consultant, Bethany, I had a really really good feeling. Please let it be known that I absolutely adore Bethany. She must be protected at all costs. She's a genius. I tried on my very first dress ever (ah!) and it felt incredible. It checked all my boxes but I wasn't ready to say yes to the very first dress. So we tried on some more, and none of them lived up to the very first. And THEN I confided in Bethany that I really wanted to go back to that first dress and I wanted a cape. But I broke down crying because we lost my mom 9 years ago and I was struggling to say yet to anything without her. But she put me back in that first dress and my cape and I lost it. I knew I was standing in my dress. I showed my shopping buddies and they all agreed, we were done. This was it. Bethany popped a bottle of champagne for us and we checked out and left. I'm still waiting for my dress to arrive from the maker, but it is not expected until Feb 2022. I can't wait to go back and see the amazing staff at Adorn when it get it back, and when I get to go have it altered. I am so lucky that Adorn was my first bridal appointment because they hit it out of the park! I can't imagine going anywhere else! 5 stars all day everyday! Thank you Bethany!

Our experience with this bridal shop surrounding my daughter's wedding dress has been incredibly…read moredisappointing--not only because of what happened with the dress, but because of the way we have been treated since. My daughter's approximately $4,000 wedding dress, with an additional $1,200 spent on alterations, would not zip on her wedding day. After nearly three hours of trying everything we could, the zipper ultimately broke less than an hour before the ceremony. This was an incredibly stressful and heartbreaking situation on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. The shop has stated that they "went out of their way" to help us, but I feel it is important to clarify what actually happened. When we initially reached out for help, no one offered to come assist us. It was only after our wedding planner became involved that the shop brought sample dresses for my daughter to wear. We were grateful that she ultimately had something to walk down the aisle in, but that assistance came after significant stress and after someone else had to advocate for us. What has been equally upsetting is the treatment we have received afterward. I am the mother of the bride and the person who purchased the dress, yet I was treated rudely and essentially told that they would only communicate with my daughter because she was the bride. Regardless of who wore the dress, I was also their customer and deserved to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. During our conversation following the wedding, the shop agreed to contact the designer about gifting my daughter the sample dress she was forced to wear for her wedding. Since that conversation, our follow-up emails have gone unanswered. At this point, the lack of communication feels especially disappointing given everything that happened. We understand that problems can occur. What defines a business is how it responds when something goes wrong. We were not expecting perfection--we were expecting empathy, professionalism, communication, and a genuine effort to make an extremely upsetting situation right. Instead, we have been left feeling dismissed and as though the shop believes bringing a replacement dress after our planner intervened should end the conversation. My daughter will never get another wedding day, and she will never have the experience of wearing the dress she carefully chose and paid thousands of dollars for. I sincerely hoped this business would handle the situation differently. Unfortunately, based on both the wedding-day response and the lack of follow-through afterward, I cannot recommend this bridal shop.

They have all the elements to create any costume you could imagine as well as fully prepared costumes for rental and for sale. I've used Bittner's to find my wig when I was Princess Lolly. I came when I needed prizes for my Sweet Transvestite Party (a tiara and a wand). I bought rainbow colored fake eyelashes for some party I don't even remember, but I do remember my friend gluing my eye shut during application. Its awkwardness is obvious, there's something about the idea of going to the same place that you found your Halloween costume to rent a tux thats unsettling. Yet it makes sense - why not, its all just clothing, and arguably isn't formal wear a costume of a different kind? (ooo I'm deep hah!) I've never actually purchased or rented either type of costume here, partly because I'm a firm believer in creating my own Halloween costumes and partly because, well I'm female and don't generally come across an event where I would need to be decked out in a tuxedo. I have, however, spent many an hour here over the years perusing the merchandise. Its a great place just to get some ideas, or even just pick up some accessories. The staff here is friendly and helpful and its location on West End makes it incredibly convenient. I can't really say anything about their prices as I don't really know what the clothing rental market is like, but their quality seems to be right on and I've known anyone to have a bad experience here. Obviously there are certain times of the year when they are more popular, so if you're shopping for something at those times, I'd suggest getting the jump on it early or you might find yourself with some limited options.

It looked like a roll of fabric threw up all over the floor. I couldn't believe how unorganized and messy everything looked. B. I had to speak up and talk to them first, no one greated me at the door. So I said "Hey, the place down the hall sent me over - they said you do wedding dress alterations." 3 of the women stared at me until I turned my head and saw a younger lady sitting there. She was very nice and asked me what I needed. I believe she was the daughter of the owner. So I told her and she showed me into a dressing room and told me to put my dress on. C. I go into the dressing room and there is stuff everywhere. No one offered to help me put on my HUGE ballroom gown wedding dress so after struggling for about 10 minutes, I finally got it on. D. When the nice girl that helped me came back - she brought her mom (I assume). Her mom looks at me and says..."well - this will be very expensive". I knew alterations would be so I said that's fine. Then she continued to look at me with such distasted and said "Well, we make clothes, so it'll look good but before I pin you, let me do an estimate." Maybe I just looked poor or they didn't care to help me, I don't know. But she came back and said my dress alterations would cost $700. Ha, I laughed, because I thought she was kidding. I'm not a moron, I knew it would be expensive (as in $400), but there was now way I was going to pay them $700 after their poor customer service. So I got undressed and walked out. I will never visit them again for any alterations I'll ever need. They were rude, acted like they were better than me and their studio was awfully cluttered. My dress would have been lost in there.

We poked around and then asked about the price of a shirt that didn't have a tag to which the woman behind the counter responded "seven fifty", to which I responded to my friend "oh nice! do it!" to which the old lady behind the counter responded "Did you think I meant seven dollars and fifty cents? Go to Walmart." I'm not hating on Walmart but who tf talks to a customer like that? Lol And yes, I did think she meant $7.50 because I was standing in a small, hot shack that smelled like moth balls and was packed to the brim with crusty, oversized graphic t-shirts and men's cargo pants that I could find in my brothers closet.
