I called these guys in a panic...lol. I have a (separate entrance) room for rent (short term rental/ AirBnB) in my home. After I washed the bedding I took it out of the dryer and there were stains that would not come out. I had a second set of sheets still in the bag, but they were tinsel cotton- very comfy, but they wrinkle if you're breathing- my turn around was immediate and I had to have the room ready within 90 minutes! I brought an item to be cleaned and was given a price of $35 to do so. When I went to retrieve the item the woman who I believe to be the owner,who initially gave me the price asked for $45. I advised her of the price she initially gave me and she said she never said that. I asked her if she was calling me a liar and she said I must have misunderstood. This cleaning was dropped off the day before and I believe my memory serves me pretty well to remember the day before. I saw Jax's reco on Nextdoor, then saw amazing reviews on Yelp, knew I gotta come here. And they got another 5 stars super happy customer !!! A person has amazing great vibe, happy and fun, friendly. Explain so well w transparency. I love they text letting me know when it's ready. I dropped 2 vintage pieces. 1 wool white coat, 2, lining detached, 2 buttons missing poncho coat. Bc the condition of the lining being not great, I didn't know they take those type of repairs or not. They did! And did amazing Beautiful work! Both coats got pimped and all liner repair one was like brand new, even using the same lining. Also he found other part was safety pinned, which I think I did long time ago and forgot about :p. He also repaired that which is more than estimate but I asked to make it good. So I'm happy For missing buttons, I asked him where will be good place to have buttons that I had old school leather ones but he reco not to and explained me reason which I appreciated so much. Ended up Got buttons at Joanne's and brought back days after. It came back w all buttons in place too! I do strongly recommend Jax's and willl also drop any dry cleaning in the future. Top notch service and price! I was quoted (to the best of my memory) a little over $100 for wedding dress preservation (including my veil). Roger was friendly, courteous, and professional. He answered all my questions concerning my dress. I love the fact that they were environmentally friendly. I came here over a year ago to have them clean and preserve my wedding gown and lace veil. After their first cleaning, I noticed there were still some dirt embedded on the underside hem of my dress. Not too much but still enough for me to notice it. I asked if they can do a second cleaning just to get the dirt out. They were more than willing to do that and didn't give me any problems for requesting that. My dress was wrinkle free and pristine after the second cleaning! They placed my dress and veil in a nice decorative, archival-quality box. Thank you Jax cleaners for your awesome service! This is my neighborhood cleaner. I think they are great. There is plenty of parking in the back which I prefer because you avoid all the traffic. The back entrance is always open. Don't park in the front; it's very tight and always crowded because of Cici's cafe. read more
