Via free consult, I was able to get a price that CRUSHED the competition, and got the parts of my apartment cleaned that I wanted to. Mr. Love provided excellent customer service throughout, and Betty did a great job making my Kitchen and Bathroom look spotless! The cleaners were a bit late (maybe 30m or so), but I don't want to take off a star, because after seeing how they work, which is ending when the things you wanted cleaned are fully cleaned and not peace-ing out when the time commitment is over the time is more of an estimate than a hard-locked schedule. SWL is a newer company and have a smaller base of cleaners than other more established companies, so give 'em a break! He walked me through the details of what they do and gave me an awesome quote for a 1 bed / 1 bath apartment. He said I wouldn't be disappointed so we scheduled a cleaning for today (Monday, 8:45am). I thought it was a bit strange that he didn't ask for an email or address or anything to send a confirmation like all the other cleaning services I've used. So of course I asked and he said they would call me the next day (Sunday) to confirm. I waited all day Sunday and finally called them around 5:30pm and didn't get an answer. I figured I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and see if they call me this morning and I'll wait to write out a check because this seems sketchy. 8:45am came and went and I didn't hear back from them so I left to work. I was very disappointed because I turned down other, more professional cleaning companies, to go with these guys and now I've lost a day. Will have to book for later in the week with another company. He's been asking me to hire Gregg again, which we will, once I get our budget sorted out to include one awesome cleaner. Gregg is meticulous. He cleans walls, nooks and crannies, and crayon/dry erase marker off of walls. I've tried Swept Away, Homejoy and Curwick Cleaner and Curwick was the best. Swept Away was also very good, but they are limited in what they can accomplish given they use only environmentally friendly and safe products. Homejoy was pretty bad. He dusts, sweeps, wipes. If you have a kiddie room, you can request he use the Clorox green line of supposedly environmentally-friendly stuff (although Im not the most fond of Clorox for anywhere besides the kitchen and bathroom). FYI - he will also take on work as a handyman. Gregg was on time and stayed even a little extra. We played phone tag a bit but he was responsive and never gave me the impression of being flaky. He is a character though, so if you're looking for someone to shut up and clean, he is not the one :) If you are not horrible antisocial and don't mind someone with a personality cleaning your house who can clean really well, you've found your cleaner.

In fact, he offered to come to our place at 4am on a Sunday if we wanted. We chose not to go that route, but it was good to know it was an option. He cleaned my apartment carpet, floors, windows, bathroom ceiling, computer monitors...it's ALL done. I'm happy. My wife is happy. My kids are happy. Everyone in the apartment complex is happier. When he showed up (on time) on the appointed day, he arrived with poinsettias! I'm not a flower guy, but my wife loved them. If he was looking for brownie points - er, flower points, he found them.
