My sister got a planner last year given to her by my brother-in-law and she came back to get a refill. This is such a cool place. She was able to get the same cover and the refills that she wanted. She can change it and customize the cover however she wants and she can change the refill also. It was such an easy process and they were really helpful. read more

First off... I drove 35 miles with my bestie who loves planners! I was excited to build a personal planner... but the bloom was sold out... I was told after I spent 15 mins trying to decide what I wanted!!! I was going to just order it online, but was told that I would not be able to purchase the blue/pink spiral. So bottom line! I spent almost $70 for a planner that I partially like. Not to mention... my bestie's planner was packaged in a beautiful box and she received a few goodies... while mine was stuffed in a bag.. with no goodies. Wow. This store is BEAUTIFUL. It's full of everything you don't really need, but truly want. So many great planners, and notebooks, pens/pencils, and everything else in between. I even said to the friendly staff behind the counter that I don't need anything I'm buying, and they agreed that most people who purchase from them don't, lol. The store is near the Target end of Irvine Spectrum and you must make an effort to go look in there if you're a lover of all things pretty and stationery. It's just gorgeous and well laid out and the staff are helpful too. Pricing is maybe a little up there, but it's all good quality and it's definitely a favourite store of mine now and can't wait to go back again soon. read more

I just discovered this gem through some of my coworkers, so thought I'd pop on my by on Saturday. I ended up leaving with a customized planner with my name printed on the book (which is complimentary), dual marker, highlighters, and some pens. I actually ended up coming into the store again the next day with my sister and bought more highlighters and pens because they were so amazing. Customer service was great. Everyone was super helpful and shared their excitement with me because yes, I was fangirling over everything which just made this feel more like an experience instead of errand running! Super fun. I definitely will be back to purchase again - writing utensils and all. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because they seemed a little understocked. I'm not sure if this is normal or if this location in particular was affected. There were some bookmarks that they didn't have that I just ended up ordering on Amazon but would have really like to have just gotten here. That's just me though because I wanted everything to match. I also was looking for the teacher planner with the spiral, but luckily I ended up finding another notebook style I liked better and took that one. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for new, effective ways to stay organized! read more

I had always heard of Erin Condren planners and while I used to use a planner daily for teaching and another one completely for my personal life, I still have yet to use an Erin Condren planner. The reason I am giving 5 stars is for the service of the staff of this store. My friend and l walked in and while the store was busy with other shoppers, we were still immediately greeted warmly and offered help if we needed anything. I had questions and both ladies had answers for me. I didn't have my personal planner on hand (I often do because it's much smaller than my teaching planner and l have it in my purse half the time) but I saw some supplies in the store that were awesome for a spiral bound planner (which my planners are also, but different than the Condren brand). I bought them and sadly found out they wouldn't work for my planners so I took them back a week or so later. The lady helping me with returns was also very kind and allowed me to keep the beautiful gift which was a reusable bag that came with my original purchase because it was of a certain amount, which I thought was very kind. While I don't use Condren planners for teaching or my personal planner, I am considering using her Reading Log Planner and I think what draws most people to her brand most is the ability for it to be so diversified and modifiable to each individual's needs. Most reading planners I have seen have had at most 100-150 books per journal and I need at least 150 and possibly more for a yearly journal. I am going to inquire to see if I can have pages added to her reading journal. If so, I cannot wait to start using it and all the cute little items she has in the store that go with the planners. I did end up keeping this cute accordion bag which has 3 separate pouches that are sewn together. I bought it for my diaper bag and put diapers in one pocket, wipes in another, and an extra set of clothes in the third pocket. It worked amazingly well. The bright colors also made it fun and easy to find in my bag, which was also a perk! If you like office supplies and organization, it's definitely worth stepping into the store to see all the goodies. Not everything is about the planners in the store. Also, the rest of the Spectrum has so much to see. So make sure to stop in next time you come. There is a lot of serious eye candy in the store. I love all the fun colors and characters she has added to her collections! read more

I finally made it out the OC for Erin Condren. I really miss the one in Hawthorne closer to home, but I did come to the Spectrum specifically for Erin Condren. It was so pretty just like the photos and I was shocked to see dual-tip markers for a dollar a piece. If you buy 6, you get the case too and it comes out to less than 6 bucks. I am a pen/marker kinda girl so you can feel my excitement when I saw all the colored pens! Everything was so neat and organized. The staff is very nice and friendly. Again, I really wish the one in the South Bay was still open. But I enjoyed my time last Saturday purchasing my pens! read more

Don't get me wrong, I am a HUUUUGE Erin Condren fan and it's my second year of purchasing my planner here, which has become a personal lifesaver, but I think this store location could use some work on its customer servicing. The retail worker that I initially approached about getting a new planner for year 2020 looked at me with a blank stare when I had asked if it was more cost effective to get a new planner or to refill my current planner with the updated monthly page printouts, and then just pointed to the planner section. I was a little frustrated because it was clear that I wanted a new planner. However, the store always has at least two employees in the store for help if you're needing assistance. The store has an overwhelmingly amount of options, so I typically just ask an employee for assistance as soon as I go in. Overall, I would highly recommend! read more

What a great store! I'm so glad I was able to come to their grand opening celebration on Sunday. The inside is filled with such inspiration that it just motivated me to start getting my life back together. After two kids, I felt like my life would always be hectic. But this store really encourages you to do better with your life. If you really pay attention to all the things they have to offer, you will really appreciate everything they do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can custom design your planner from the cover to the spiral binder. It's amazing. I haven't been this excited to start planning my days since forever. I absolutely LOVE this brand and now this STORE I am so so so happy having an Erin Condren store so close by. EC is known for their amazing paper quality and planner and now to explore a store that is so much more than that, I am living in a dream! I am definitely a person that prefers to see and feel things in person (I think most of us in the planner world do!). I have visited this location 3 times and every time I have been blown away by their customer service. With COVID going on the employees were very diligent in their execution of safety and cleanliness. Fri 8/28 Olivia was a huge help! She greeted us when we came in and gave my friend and I space to shop but was attentive and available when we were in need of help. She went above and beyond to help ensure my marker bar experience was phenomenal. I have so many already and wanted to do the Make Your Own Pack without any duplicates and she was more than happy to double check on my past orders and what I currently had! Olivia also went out of her way to double check on a product for me in the back! Sat 8/29 I had returned to see if I had missed any goodies I may want and to execute an exchange, the Celestine was so sweet and made the whole process quick and painless! I ended up grabbing a thank you/birthday/inspire/congrats/support card file, I have been looking for one for some time now and am happy to have found one with such great quality. Cards from OTHER brands in the past have bleed and smeared which definitely do not make for a great keepsake card. This store also has THE CLEAR planner bag I about died, I was so excited! Perfect for your planner and of course a DUAL use for all the EVENTS that will take place requiring a clear bag, such a steal! On Sun 8/29 Mckayla (I apologize if I misspelled your name!) was there to help and was so sweet and incredibly helpful! She was very understanding of all of my needs and was right there to help with any questions I had! This store is amazing!!! I have been a customer of EC since 2014. For the past 3 years I have purchased a Teacher planner. This year there were so many mistakes/issues with my planner that I had to return it. Sadly, the online customer service was not the business and I had been waiting since June for my refund. As a teacher I needed a planner so I decided to drive to the Irvine location. I am so glad I did. Bella was able to help me with my refund and get me my custom planner within 30 mins. I discovered this store on the first day of my vacation and fell in love. The associate who helped me on the first day was AMAZING! Because of her help I spent way more than planned but was so excited! I went back the next day to get more things. I purchased a new planner and was so excited to start using is. I started filling out the rest of this year, and when I opened to January, the month page was upside down and backwards. The monthly overview is the main thing I use in my planner. I went back to the store in Irvine (I had now gone everyday for the last 3 days). When I showed the manager she kept saying how strange, and then told me there was nothing they could do since it was "just one page." She asked me if I just wanted her to take it out and I said no, because that's an important page in my planning. She just kept repeating that it was just one page like it wasn't a big deal, however after just spending $75 on a planner, I expect it to be perfect and be able to used in the way it was intended. She said I could return it, and I asked can I just rebuy it. She said yes, but she'd have to double check to see if it's in stock. I returned it and then handed her the return slip and said I'd like to buy this. She immediately said "it's out of stock." Didn't check. Didn't try to do anything to help me. I went in with the intention of purchasing a second planner as a gift and additional accessories, however the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I would always rather support brick and motor over online, however I instead placed my order online and quite frankly am tempted to return the other $200 worth of accessories I purchased in the store and order them online. Somehow I don't think the lack of empathy or respect for your customer is the way your brand would want to be portrayed, especially since the store is a great way to introduce people to your brand. I would have given this store a 1 star review but added the second star because of how amazing the associate was on my first visit. read more

Had no idea this was here at the Spectrum! My very first intro to Erin Condren were the planners at Target when I was in undergrad. Only limited items there. The store here has much more items besides planners. There are markers, pens, to-do lists, organizers (which are gorgeous!), and even blankets! All beautifully laid out on the white tables and shelves. Even the layout of the store is nice! An awesome store for those who prefer a tangible feel to paper versus going digital or those like me who just appreciate stationary and want to use the products because they feel beautiful and inspiring. I usually buy EC planners online but it was so refreshing to see a brick and mortar store!! To get to flip through pages and see all the accessories on shelves, man I went crazy in there. Julianne and Diana (I think I got these names right) were sooo patient and totally geeked out with me over planners. They were so helpful and I loved the experience. I can see the store getting a little crazy if it was crowded, but I was in there by myself so I had a very personalized experience. If you are interested in a EC planner, this is the way to go. Extremely disappointed with my visit this afternoon 7/10/21. Walked into the store with what seemed to be a Star Wars/Darth Vader event. This was completely fine. I walked around and could not find the section (teacher planners) I was looking for. I found a team member and asked and was completely ignored. The employee apparently was being called over for a photo op with Darth Vader. I decided to leave and try again at the end of my visit to the spectrum. About 2 hours later I tried again. The event was over, but none of the team members cared about helping their customers and were busy socializing. It was very unprofessional. I will continue to buy my planners online. Not sure why the company even has a store front with employees like this. read more

I waited weeks after rush ordering my planner since classes were going to start. My planner did not arrive even two weeks after they told me it would be delivered. I found the store location online to visit and complain. They said they could immediately print my book and did so within 10min. I was given a refund but nothing else was done. I was shocked at their customer service. The girls in the store were really nice but not apologetic. The email corespondents states they don't compromise on the quality of their product, but it took them 10min to print it beautifully in store. This doesn't make sense. I'm just not sure why the online correspondence didn't offer to have me pick it up in store if it was only going to take 10min, not 3 weeks!!! After everything was said and done, I wish there was at least an apology, discounted accessory, or something that could show they want my business again. read more

I had wanted to purchase several books as gifts but from the online descriptions could not decide. So I called the store to inquire if the sale would end that day or still be there tomorrow. Was told by the associate that the sale would end tomorrow. When I looked online the following day, there was no sale. When I called the store again, was told the sale had ended. I came in tonight to order my teacher planner and the employee who assisted me was very nice. I already had everything picked out in my online shopping cart so ordering was quick and easy. It took about ten minutes for them to print and assemble by customer teacher planner since mine was the only one in line at the time. Their custom teacher planner costs $55. They had super cute options and I just love that it is custom and they can print my name on it (no shipping fees, YAY!) Inside is decorated cute and they have a small clearance section. There are examples of their products all over the store and I highly recommend their products overall. Yes, they are pricey, but super cute and supporting a woman-owned business is always good! read more

This review is for an online order. I placed an order online that was scheduled to deliver on September 3. It didn't arrive. It sat on a doc in Texas for days. Once it arrived to my town, the package sat on a dock there for another three days. Then FedEx turned my package over to USPS. Now it has traveled all over the cities around me while the support team keeps telling me, it will be there tomorrow. Only it never comes. I tried to file it as a lost package and support team ignored me. Saying it was on its way. Why pay 80.00 for a planner for September that I can't even use in September. BEWARE... once your item ships, they don't care if it gets to you or not. Response from customer service : We're very sorry to hear that you still haven't received your package. We understand your concern. Upon checking your order with the tracking ID it shows that the package is still in transit and the scheduled delivery date is expected today. *that was today, then tonight when it didn't come I emailed again. The response was: Please know that shipments may move through regional sorting locations before arriving at their final delivery destination. Often shipments may not appear to be moving on the most direct route from the pickup location to the final delivery destination. We highly suggest waiting for the package to be delivered on September 13 at the latest. You can also contact FedEx to get real-time updates for the package. -My package was scheduled to be here on the 4th. They don't even recognize that FedEx no longer has it. If they had called FedEx like I had, they would know they gave it to USPS. Erin Condrin will not allow me to file a lost package claim. read more

Just happened to come across this place, never knew it existed until today. They have notebooks, planners, pens, etc. Thought it was your typical cute stationary/office supply store until I was ready to make a purchase. They told me I could personalize my notebook at no extra cost! (Not sure if it applies to all of their notebooks/planners) Staff was really helpful and friendly doing so. Told me it would take 30 minutes to get done (no problem, I can walk around and shop), only took 10 minutes! I gave this place 4 stars only because despite being the 2nd person in line, they took quite a bit of time with the person in front of me and myself when checking out. Took more time checking us out than it did actually creating our personalized notebooks. I didn't mind too much, but it may cause problems in the future for other guests having to wait to purchase. Been a fan of this brand for awhile and excited they were offering a new location. I believe in the motivation behind the brand. However, I was in line to buy two items. I ended up leaving the line without purchasing because there was only one cashier open and she was friendly, but talked excessively to customers while there's a long line forming and others waiting. It left a bad first impression when I was actually looking forward to coming. Meanwhile there were at least 3 other associates walking around, including 2 stationed at the door just to greet customers. There needs to be better division of efforts here. Really disappointed with the store. I was excited to purchase a couple packs of pens and a notebook because I needed another bullet journal and wanted to splurge on a gift for my 21st birthday. There were two workers on the floor and one other customer in the store. One of the ladies was helping the other customer and the other worker was at the register. I got in line and waited for the lady to be ready to help me. I waited for 10 minutes and in that time, the worker that was at the register went to go fix some of the notebooks on the tables and the worker that was helping the lady was now at the register but after a couple minutes when it the back. Then the lady that was fixing the notebooks helped the other customer. After being ignored while waiting in line, I just put all my stuff back and left. It was so excited to try their products but I most likely won't go back because it was so embarrassing being ignored by the staff. read more
