Today I visited this store with my three children to purchase a few items and when I reached the…read morefront, I politely asked if someone could assist me at the register. I was directed to the self-checkout area instead. While I was in the process of checking out and obviously struggling the employee at the front began making comments about my children. As a parent managing three young kids by herself, it is extremely difficult to complete a transaction at a self-checkout station while also ensuring my children are supervised appropriately. This is precisely why I requested assistance in the first place. I was disappointed not only by the lack of support, but also by the tone and comments made during our visit. Customer service should feel supportive and welcoming, especially for families. It was frustrating to see multiple employees present, yet none available to provide direct assistance when requested. I should not be expected to perform the duties of a cashier while an employee stands nearby making comments about my children instead of providing assistance. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the overall lack of professionalism, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the customer experience for others in the future.
