We arrived for dinner and we're told that we needed to wait since they were out of menus so we sat at the bar and ate (they had menus at the bar). The Reuben and sweet potato fries were great as was Shelby's Healthy Salad with apples, walnuts, spinach, blue cheese with raspberry vinaigrette on the side. They have a very broad draft beer list for a beer drinker's delight. A well appointed interior with character and hard working staff make Erin's highly recommended! read more

It's OK. Typical Irish Pub-in-a-Box. The same can be found in Birmingham, Berlin, LA, Bucharest or anywhere else in the world, Dark stained wood, Guinness on tap, Irish/Gaelic Slogans in gold on the walls, a decent selection of Irish whiskeys and mediocre food. It's fine - if you are on the road with family, you know what you are getting into; it's a decent option. We started off our Friday evening here with a half & half and a Bushmills. Service very busy - bartender working hard to keep up, but still disappeared time to time. Need another bartender on a busy Friday. Obligatory completely average Rueben rolls, and then I insisted we get out of there and head someplace with some local flavor. What a fun place! If we were closer we would be here every week! We had a Guinness flight and we loved it. I got to have a Guinness Stout and a Porter of some sort while my wife had a Harp and a Smithwycke. The flight was a perfect amount to get the taste but continue driving home. I had their Guinness Stew and loved it. My wife tried the one similar (Erin's Farm House Stew) and it was not as good. I liked the Guinness stew so much I came home and made it for dinner that week (theirs was a bit better). The service was excellent and we just had a great time. Stopped in Wisconsin today. Time to have some cheese right? This place was close to our hotel so we went over and we're amazed at the ambiance here! We have always liked coming here for date night but what they charge for my go to Tito's martini is outrageous! I have never paid over $10 for a Tito's martini and they up charge $6.25 for Tito's for a total of $16! I questioned the charge the last time we were here and was hoping it would be different this time. I told my husband I don't want to come here again as I can get 2 martinis somewhere else for the price of their one. We wanted our bill and out waitress disappeared for a very long time. We stopped here for some supper one night while we were in town. They have an extensive liquor selection and their pours are fairly hefty. We ordered their pretzels and got the three cheese sauce and some honey mustard on a recommendation from our server. The pretzels were delicious and the honey mustard did go well with them. The cheese sauce was not very good, but I didn't really even need a dipping sauce from how well done the pretzels were. I ordered a steak plus colcannon (a mashed potato plus cabbage concoction) that was delicious. The steak was cooked to my request and the colcannon was very good. read more

Cute and cozy. It's bigger than you think it is, but at the same time, they divvy up the rooms to make it feel like a quaint Irish pub. The low TV count is welcoming. The beer is plentiful. The food is really good. It will definitely set you back in the wallet a bit more than your regular restaurant, but for the atmosphere and food, it's probably worth it. So glad they were open New Year's Eve - and waitress was very friendly and helpful with our questions. Pretzels with beer cheese - hot and yummy. Irish cream mint - warmed me up out of the cold. Rolls with a bit of cheese and real butter - warm and delicious. Husband got the naked wings - very good. 15 yo son got petite filet - devoured it all - said it was cooked perfectly medium with good flavor. Also said the broccoli was cooked perfectly, not mushy. We were here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate Christmas a bit early. We had arranged for a private space but the room they had set aside was too small for our group. They did a good job finding us a better spot. Given it was 3pm we were able to get a seating area by a large fireplace - it was perfect. In addition their Christmas decorations were quite nice so it really was a festive atmosphere. The server who worked with our group of 12 did a very nice job keeping the drinks flowing and bringing out the appetizers we ordered. I would have rated our experience at Erins higher but the food was pretty mediocre - the chicken wings were perhaps some of the worse ones I have every had and the rest of the starters were heavy and greasy. I am reluctant to eat a full meal here but I would definitely come for a drink at the holidays! read more

Only in Wisconsin can you find an Irish Restaurant with an entire section dedicated to Mac & Cheese! This places has a pretty classic Irish feel to it with the music and decorations. Lots of seating and an outdoor patio area great for the summers. Being that I saw this Mac & Cheese section, I couldn't resist and went with the MGregors Mac & Cheese. First impression was that visually it looked great! There was definitely no shortage of cheese, the only problem was that the cheese was a little soupy. But still taste was good! The blend of jalapeños and tomatoes was actually great and it was even too hot, just right! The toasted bread that comes with it was nothing special, just plate filler. Service was horrible and it was not our waitress. It was a total kitchen failure. Expediter sent out only 5 dinners and there were 6 diners. Someone claiming to be the manager refused to comp the 6th diners meal even after it came out 10 minutes later. Horrible customer service. We chose this restaurant because of location and yelp reviews. We were all impressed. We got the pit of gold appetizer to share to start. It was good. The egg roll things were a bit weird but everything else was good. I ordered the Erin's Corn Beef sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was soooooooo good. Best corn beef sandwich I've ever had. And the sweet potato fries were amazing! My coworkers ordered reuben, the Rachel sandwich and one ordered the Reuben wrap. The one who ordered the wrap said she wished she got the sandwich instead. She missed the flavor of the rye bread. Btw:the rye bread is soooo good. Our service was great. We were well taken care of. Portion sizes were huge. We all took half our sandwiches home because we couldn't eat it all. The restaurant is large with booth, table and bar seating. Stopped by on St Patrick's Day, after a day of snowboarding. As you can imagine the place was packed. Parking was atrocious. People just didn't give a F and parked where they wanted. I was lucky enough to find a legit spot and then watched a Land Rover park directly behind me, on the curb, in front of a fire hydrant. Before heading there we had called to see how the wait was and was told they were turning over tables fast, since they weren't letting customers linger. If they weren't ordering food, then they had to sit by the bar. When we got there, the indoor bar was packed. They had a band going, which was nice, but a pain if you were seated in the back or needed to go to the bathroom since you had to pass the bar to get to either place. Initially we had a 45 minute wait, which only ended up being 10 mins. Thankful for that, since there wasn't a good place to stand and wait, without being in the chaos of it all. Wish I had good things to say about the food. I ordered the Shepherds pie and the husband had the Irish breakfast. The shepherds pie lacked any flavor. Absolutely nothing special stood out about it. It wasn't bad, but it was great either. As for the Irish breakfast, portions were small and again, my husband said there wasn't anything that stood out about it. Our server was nice. Kept our drinks full and checked in on us a couple times. We'll stick to our traditional Culver's stop on the way back from snowboarding next time. read more

Had been here before for drinks and to listen to a band, it was great! Tonight I was alone and wanted to get a bite to eat and didn't want to travel too far from my hotel. Saw some great food reviews on Yelp and decided to stop in. The restaurant was about half full which I'm sure was about average for a Thursday night after 8pm. I sat down at the bar to get a drink and to watch TV while I ate. I waited a few minutes but the bartender did not see me so I moved to a location closer to where he seemed to spend most of his time. I still had to flag him down to get his attention. Then I found out what was up! Apparently the single woman in the corner needed a lot of attention! Poor girl was having problems with the menu or something! I got my drink finally, but he did not take my order and I really thought about putting a couple of bucks down and going somewhere else. At that time a second bartender appeared so I asked him to take my order. I had chicken noodle soup which was lukewarm and very average, (which came quick). My salad was very fresh and had great flavor. I was very surprised that my main dish came up about a minute latter. Hardly had two bites of my salad! I'm a huge Irish food fan and was looking forward to trying their Shepard's Pie. It was pretty good, maybe a little dry , but had good flavor. Not the best ever but I did like it. It was well worth the price. If you go hopefully you get a better bartender or sit at a table . I liked most everything except the service. My bartender said four things to me the whole night "what will you have" "here you go" "are you done with this?" And "would you like your check?" Wow what a find. This place is so "out of place". My Sister lives in Sun Prairie and took us here for a family lunch outing. It's located in the middle of a business park and is such a quaint fun place that it seems like the last thing you'd find here. They sat us in our own private room which was great since there were 6 of us and we were kinda loud. Really great beer selection, Irish of course. But they also have a lot of local craft beers as well. I love Black & Tans and they probably have a dozen different versions. The menu is big and of course Corn Beef rules. My daughter had the Ruben and loved it. I had the prime rib sandwich with onion, pepers, mushrooms & jalapenos. Yum! It was Winter but my Sis said they have an awesome patio so I cn't wait to go back and check that out. read more

Travelling to Mayo Clinic, we wanted a unique place to eat, and this fun pub definitely fit the bill for atmosphere and variety of beverages!! There was a very long bar area upon entering the restaurant, with multiple small rooms to either side of the bar. We were seated in a quiet corner and our server was very friendly and attentive, offering suggestions and tips. Making a beverage choice was difficult with so many offered, but we both settled on locally brewed IPAs and were not disappointed! We ordered the fish and chips to split, since it is an Irish pub, and my husband ordered the naked, rubbed wings with a tangy sauce for dipping. The housemade dinner rolls were the tastiest part of the meal. The blue gill was super salty, and it was fried in too much oil. The coleslaw had way too much mayonnaise for my liking. My husband was not impressed at all with the wings. I am giving this establishment 4 stars because of the service and atmosphere and beverage list. We would definitely return here for drinks!!
