(2016 review) SUPER happy & satisfy to get my annual window cleaning (2016) again using Ernest Windows company. Today, I have the pleasure to meet Evaldas who had absolutely done a wonderful job for my 40 plus Windows & screens. He came to the appointment early (how refreshing not needing to wait for appointment). He was very professional, pleasant, courteous, and very detail in making sure every window is done to the perfection. He will go back to each window multiple times rechecking, inside-out to make sure it is spotless!!! He is also very neat, clean up & tidy up the space afterwards. Great attitude!! Thank you so much, Evaldas! Besides, Ernest pricing is very reasonable compare to the other company. Will definitely use Ernest next year again!!! P.s. I tried to post a separate review for Ernest since this is a different year (I posted my first one last year). But all I can do in Yelp is to go back to my last year to add in more comments to update the review. But I think Ernest deserves another 5 stars from me this year. But to just update my 2015 review by adding my 2016 review to the same review, that won't be fair for the total calculation of "Stars" for Ernest because my review essentially only get counted as "One" time 5-Star, not "Two" times. My wife was the one that decided on Ernest Windows after receiving 3x estimates. And I am very glad that she selected Ernest. Martin was our cleaning specialist, and that is an excellent title for him. Not only was he extremely conscientious about making sure there were no messes in the home, he was extremely polite, very helpful, and (while I know this was to the business' benefit) suggested additional services that just made sense once you saw the excellent results he did on other items we requested. We gladly added on additional services in the moment, and he was able to accomplish all of them the same day on the same visit! Talk about immediate gratification. Martin clearly took great care as well as great pride in what he does for a living - excellent work ethic and professionalism, while maintaining a pleasant attitude for the entire day. When all was said and done, in one day they cleaned inside and outside of 50 windows, 20 screens, 8 skylights, power washed outside from outside the gutter to the brick below, and power washed our cement patio, including removal and replacement of all the patio furniture! My wife and I couldn't be happier with the outstanding service and pricing from Martin and Ernest Windows. I had my windows, gutters, storms and patio doors cleaned by Ernest Windows Inc. today The appointment time was made and serviceman arrived promptly and on time (actually 10 minutes before the time) I was impressed because most service contractors that I have dealt with never arrived on time. He cleaned everything to my satisfaction and also answer all my questions and concerns. He was efficient, thorough, knowledgeable, polite and very tidy. He went above his cleaning services. I will definitely hire Ernest Windows Inc. again and I strongly recommend this company for windows and gutters cleaning to anyone. This company kick the ball out of the park, It is a home run services, you cant beat this company cleaning services. He cleaned the windows and doors individually, the inside windows and doors were cleaned first before the outside and gutters. The serviceman used a ladder to reach the upper floors. Ernest Windows is an A+ business. Scheduling was easy, and as the day of service neared, the owner asked to reschedule due to a threat of rain. The cleaning was done entirely by a single person, Andrew, who did a fantastic job. He was very thorough and polite. The service included cleaning the screens, and unlike other companies we have used, each screen was cleaned with soap and water. We also requested an estimate for gutter repair, which we have had fixed in the past. The estimate was reasonable, and the work, again thorough. While the seals have not been tested yet, we received assurances that the work would be guaranteed. The price for both cleaning and gutter repair was affordable and less than other companies who have provided service of a lesser quality. Seventy windows, three gutter patches and 8 hours later, we could not be happier. Next time, we'll be requesting Andrew personally. Ernest, thank you for your quality service! read more

My patio (19 ft x 19.5 ft cement) had seen better days - even after powerwashing with a 2300 PSI machine last year, I still couldn't get the grime completely off. Seriously, there were areas of that patio that were blacker than Keyser Soze's soul. Summer was soon upon us and my family was dying to get the patio furniture out... and so I had to call in the cavalry. I had to call Ernest. Next to my electric toothbrush and the Shakeweight, this was probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. Ernest came in with a heavy duty power washing machine (3200+ PSI I believe) and spent a good 3 hours out there - surgically cutting through the grime and eliminated even the toughest stains. Heck he was even kind enough to clean up my BBQ grill crates so I could grill out with my tongs out later that evening. The patio looked great afterwards and I have Ernest to thank. I used Ernest Windows to wash my 113 windows (inside and out) screens, and clean the gutters. It was a big job. Ernest over the phone and when he came to my home for an estimate was friendly and professional. The 2 guys (Ted and Rocky) who came to do the job were hardworking and polite as well. They worked 7 hours without a break (I had no issue with them taking breaks). Ted was not disturbed by my two toddlers watching him and asking him questions, which I appreciated. They did a fantastic jobs on the windows, I could not be happier. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars, instead of 5 stars, is because Ernest said that they wipe down the window sills with the inside and outside window cleaning. Although 2/3 of the windows had the sills wiped, about a 1/3 did not. It probably was due to exhaustion from the long day. I would use them again and refer them to my friends and neighbors. read more

I've been using Ernest Windows washing for several years. Never had any single issue or misunderstanding... Prompt in returning calls, very specific and detailed providing info over the phone. Professional appearance and demeanor. Sorry folks (for those who saying had a bad experience)... cannot imagine the owner Ernest screaming or arguing with somebody, nice, polite and very professional guy... as well as all his team... should note here - these guys have been in business for a long time, would be hard to even survive arguing with the customers... Few great benefits for me - they are flexible and worked out with me to accommodate my super busy schedule, reasonable pricing and outstanding quality. I cant say enough good things about the job he did. He was efficient, thorough, polite, and very tidy. He went above and beyond with his cleaning and also his customer service. We've used them for two years now. This year I had college aged kids spend about 4 hours in the heat mucking out my gutters (it was just after biblical sized thunderstorms the day before) and cleaning windows inside and out. They were extremely polite, efficient, and work horses. At one point I saw one covered in muck after he unclogged my gutter, he was covered but smiled proudly like he'd just conquered Everest! All of them were very respectful of the place both inside and out and left with everything cleaned up afterward. The only clue as to who they were is that under "Technician" it just says: A-M-L. I have used them to clean my windows and gutters and thought: "let's see how they do with carpet cleaning?" Well, that was a mistake! They arranged to be here between 2:30-4:30 pm but never showed up. I called to find out where they were and the person I talked to said that they had left me a message that they could not come today. When I remarked that no, there was no message left, he curtly replied that that did not mean that they had not left a message. Huh? No apology, just wanted to argue that they had indeed left me a message. Sorry, will never use them again! If you are comfortable with a company that will frequently cancel on you then go ahead. I had Ernest do all of the windows in my house, inside and out (over 40). Evaldas was the window cleaner that was sent and he was professional, courteous and precise. Not only was he on time but highly efficient as well. With the heat index of over 100 degrees, he completed the job with perfect results. I used to use another company to do my windows every year, but after seeing the work that Evaldas and Ernest Windows do, I'll never use another cleaner. They take the time and care to make sure EVERY single blemish is removed (even using a razor blade in some cases)! No brainer going forward, won't use anyone else from now on. Excellent business. I called to set up an appointment for windows and gutters. I had to leave a message but no sooner did I hang up, my phone rang back and they scheduled the work. The weather was rainy but they were immediately at my home to clean the gutters. The following day they returned for the window cleaning. The job was done expertly. They came to the house around 2:45 and finished at 8:45. Totally dedicated, courteous, professional. When inside my home, they took care wearing boot covers and worked quietly. Couldn't ask for more! This company's website is very transparent with prices which is a huge plus. I called in the afternoon to set up a time to have my parents gutters cleaned. This company had someone out within a couple of hours! The job was completed in a very timely and efficient manner. David texted me before cleaning and after cleaning pictures of the gutters. If you are getting your MBA, go to work for this company and write your final paper on how to not run a company. They cancelled twice, and then when they finally decide to show up, it was two hours late. They were supposed to do the gutters, outside windows, and interiors windows. I could go on and on, but I'm done with crappy customer service, and after reading the rest of the reviews, it's obvious this company isn't long for the world. Everything others wrote about the owner is true, a complete and total jackass on the phone. My neighbor recommended them but I was hesitant to call at first because I do read reviews but they were priced VERY reasonable comparing to other companies and I'm glad I called. Now we love Ernest Windows! I have been using their services for 2 years twice a year once in the spring and once in the fall for my windows and gutters and they really do a good job, so I reward with a bigger tip! Justin cleaned our windows inside and out in mid July, in Booomingdale IL. Justin was prompt, professional and did an excellent job. This company hand cleans the Windows. I always place towels on my hardwood floors under my Windows. This catches any small drips, that may occur. Justin wore protective cloth boots over his shoes, when working indoors. I appreciate this, with all indoor services. I have used other window cleaning companies that were not nearly as good. I will continue to call Ernest Windows INC. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I felt I had to this time. I was surprised I got a live person when I called and they actually came out the same day. I had to wait until it rained to see how clean my gutters were. I must say I've lived in this house 17 years and they actually work the way they're supposed to for the first time. I have used Ernest Windows for window washing and gutter cleaning for quite a while now. They are prompt and professional. I appreciate how they will try to accommodate me with scheduling and which windows I want done, etc. Robert had to come to my house 2 days in a row because of rainy weather.
