And there are plenty of plants to chose from, both in size and variety. Not everything is priced, but those that were marked were quite reasonable. So reasonable, in fact, that I ended up buying a beautiful pinwheel gardenia that was such a great deal that I had to have it ... of course! There are also lots of blue ceramic planters and a variety of turf for sale. Wear footwear appropriate for a garden or nursery as there are wet areas. My favorite is the arrangements. They are beautifully put together and they are in bags so easy to put in a pot/planter. When I asked Mario how often they put out arrangements, he said daily. You can drive right up to the plants, but it can get very hot as there is no shade. It is located in sort of a field. I would also bring cash as it is easier to purchase. I have paid through Facebook before, but it was inconvenient because the people who help you are the workers and they are usually in the field. I saw Judy C.'s photos, review, and check-in for Happy Koi Nursery and decided to visit this small, local business on the second level of the "Uptown" part of the mall, next to the escalator. Krysten I.'s review mentioned that the prices were reasonable and that the plants are labeled with names, prices, and how to care for the plant. She was right! There was a very helpful, friendly worker who gave me a box, lined with plastic (to prevent leaking) for my purchases. She guided me through the decision-making process and explained that this location in the mall is good for these houseplants because the natural light comes in from the ceiling. I ended up buying three different plants with yellow, purple, and pink flowers. The nice woman suggested that I look for planters at Ross... because the prices might be lower than other places... and she pointed the way... Thanks for the tips and great advice!

My worms are local! It was easy enough to call Zachary to set up a time to pick up worms. He sells them out of his home/worm ranch, and we got a fun little tour of his operations. He has an amazing garden and it looked like tons of worm production. He had already pulled out a batch of worms for me, but poured them out to show me before bundling them up. They were very lively and so plentiful. He explained that he sells only blue worms and they're the faster eaters (as opposed to red worms), and that I wouldn't need to wait to feed the worms--in the past, the worms needed to acclimate for a few days before feeding. Zachary is very knowledgeable, and he also sells vermicast by the pound, if worm farming isn't your cup of (worm) tea. In my opinion, his prices are quite reasonable.
