    Dinner with friends.

My public speaking group, which dines our at a different restaurant monthly, took advantage of Ernie's Seafood Restaurant's wonderful private room. There were around 25 in our group. Upon arrival, the room was setup just as we needed it. Brandy, our server for the evening, took care of us with TLC throughout the evening. My wife, who is not a big lover of seafood, ordered the potato skins. We're regular diner at Ernie's since it's close to our home. She LOVES Ernie's potato skins. I ordered the blackboard special, the Cajun Salmon. The two sides I ordered was Cole Slaw and a "loaded" baked potato. As mentioned, Brandy our server took orders from all our attendees. When our entrees started arriving, it looked like a parade of servers and kitchen helpers. They wanted to get everyone's entrees to them while they were all piping hot. Mission accomplished with a flair! Everyone enjoyed their food and the great service we received by Brandy and Ernie's staff. The owner dropped in from time to time to ensure our group was being taken care of. Thank you, Ernie's for another memorable meal.

Ernie's has been in this location for 35 years obliviously they're doing something right. The area around it has made many changes through the years but things here look much the same. We were greeted and seated quickly. Michael our Server was Johnny on the spot maybe a little too attentive at times. We had the Fried Cheese for appetizer the batter and mozzarella was really delicious we had 4 of the six and took 2 home for Lunch next day.The wife had fried shrimp with fries and cole slaw and I went with Salmon and same sides. We agreed the cole slaw was lacking something just bland to our taste, fries were good kinda skimpy on the serving size,my Salmon fillet was good and I enjoyed it with some lemon, she enjoyed her Shrimp and was able to box a few with the fried cheese. Overall a fair visit at a local favorite that's slightly dated. The service was good and the place was clean and dimly lit. We got what we came for just could have been a bit more. The price was reasonable and we enjoyed ourselves and in the end that's all that matters.

Finally went to Ernie's Seafood been driving by them for many years. I read the reviews so I had High hopes. Red Lobster was my go-to seafood place but they are not as good as before. As for Ernie's the restaurant was dark inside until my eyes adjusted. And you can tell they have been there for a while but still clean. When you walk inside in the bar is to your left and they were very busy and little loud watching football. That did not bother me. We sat in the dining room that had a small crowd. I ordered the pick two meal which was the fried shrimp and crab cake with a salad. The salad was very good. Great ranch dressing. The shrimp was fair and I did not like the crab cake. The bake potato was a little under cooked. Over all I was not impressed with the meal. The wait staff was good took our order fast salad came out fast. But the food took a little while.

5-stars to Ernie's Seafood Restaurant. Hands down the best Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail I've had in my life. Highly-recommend and can't wait to go back. Michael was an excellent server and the staff was friendly, warm, and helpful. You don't see gems like this anymore especially for fresh steak and seafood!

Sunday night evening dinner. No wait. Professional waiter. We had variety plates and an affordable drink from the bar. The food was clean and full of taste. Nice ambiance. Would definitely try again !

So we went here for a new place to try. Sounds like a place that has a lot of regulars. We went on a Saturday and were seated right away. We were given drinks menus and ordered our appetizer-fried calamari, very good! The waiter was very attentive and mentioned that he'd put our food order in when we were about 75% through with our appetizer. He came and took the appetizer and said the food was put in the kitchen. About twenty-thirty minutes later, he came by with another gentleman (manager?) who said there was an error with the printout and our food had not been put in until just then. They were very apologetic. They offered to bring us some hush puppies as we were pretty hungry at this point. They ended up bringing like 12 of them and a bowl of clam chowder. My husband said it was the best clam chowder he'd ever eaten, so that's one thing they had going for them. Our food eventually came-though they did mess up on it (forgot the tartar sauce I ordered with the poo boy, and forgot the baked potato that came with my husband's meal). I know a lot of people disagree, but I feel like a portion of the meal should have been comped. Instead of giving us extra of what we didn't order, they should have at least taken off the appetizer. The food was decent, the price was good. I just wasn't that impressed with the service and how they handled it. I think we ended up being there for almost two hours.

I've been coming here since I was a teen!! Love that's it's not a chain and the staff is always welcoming! Now, onto the star of the show - those crab legs! Fresh, succulent, they were an absolute treat for the taste buds. The owners dedication to excellence was evident! Whether you're a seafood lover or simply appreciate good food and great company, Ernie's is a must-visit. Trust me, you'll be thanking yourself later!

Went here again Saturday and I must say this place never disappoints. I had the best pork chop I have ever had, it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The price was also great, I think it was $17.99.

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.
