Without a doubt one of the best dining experiences that I've had in a long time. Good food coupled with Ma and Pa warm country reception. A quaint neighborhood diner. I am 64 and have been eating there since I was 8 years old. It's a great little joint. Expect a line during the summer. The food is good the price is good. Although it has gone up over the 56 that I have been eating there. The malts are really good. read more

We drive 24 miles round trip to grab a burger, and onion rings from this spot. Everyone knows E's is the best place within 50 miles for a local burger! Fresh ingredients, and friendly service is always high priority. Get here a bit early or later as it gets packed fast. Very old school "dinner type" place with bench seats and a few tables. Decent burger not bad at all. Thankfully it was hot and fresh or my review would have been a 2 star. Just tasted frozen to me. I definitely liked their fried onion rings, but I've had better burgers at fast food restaurants. I was hoping this place served a better burger for being known as a burger joint. I think this is the first review I've ever left on here. I had to take the time to give this mom and pop diner 5 stars. The food was great! I had a single cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger came with onions, ketchup, and mustard for no extra charge. Almost as good as the food were the prices. For those two items my total was $5 and some change. Also, I have to include that the service was amazing. I didn't quite catch his name but the guy working the register was very friendly. I believe his name was Hayden or Caden. Anyways, I really enjoyed E's Inn and will definitely be back! read more

I moved to the Republic area in 1987. One of the first places I ate lunch was at E's Inn. The Mooneyham's were the owners at the time and were always so friendly and the food was always hot and fresh. When the business was sold I gave it a try with the new owners. Bill and Lisa have continued the great tradition of the place. Food is still always hot and fresh. Both of the owners are there every day and it's always great to see them and have a little visit (less now since Covid and the inside dining area is closed). Obviously everything was frozen and deep-fried the pies tasted like fish the burgers were out of the freezer mozzarella sticks you get three per order the Rubens had one piece of corn beef deli corned beef. One of the better mom and pop shops I've been too. The service is usually fast and hassle free. The whole family gets in on give you an experience from the ordering out of your car window all the way to when they had the dining room open. Just driving past makes me have a smile. I visited this place due to the reviews I saw here in hell and was disappointed. The burgers where bland, buns were smashed, veggies were very weak. Literally nothing special about this place. Probably its only redeeming quality is its the only place in Republic that has twist ice cream cones, but that hasn't been incentive enough to go back. read more

Disappointed in this Republic staple. The girl didn't know how to fill out the ticket so two of our three burgers were made incorrectly. The cook argued that I didn't pay for cheese for one of them. The girl had verified that I was ok paying 0.50 per burger for cheese before running my credit card so I knew I had. He was just looking at her notes on the ticket which they both verified she had filled out incorrectly. He kept insisting I pay 0.50 for the cheese. I seldom get irritated. The poor high school girl kept apologizing for her mistake and he kept insisting I pay for the cheese despite 2/3 of our order being incorrect and me showing how much I'd payed for the entire order. Finally, a manager told him to just let it go...like I was being difficult. I should've just gotten a refund and went to McDonalds. The new CYT burgers are better, bigger, the fries aren't overlooked, and the sodas are free refills. And management there apologizes for mistakes and makes it right instead of acting like it's your fault they don't know how to handle special orders. Sorry E's in, but you have forgotten your roots. I'll give you a second star just for still being open years later. read more

We ordered a corn dog, French fries, Reuben, BLT, onion rings, and fried mushrooms. The fried items were pure golden brown perfection. I love the whole vibe of this place. It's cute. One thing to note: while this is "fast food" it's not FAST food, meaning they prepare everything as it is ordered so it takes them awhile. It is so worth the wait! I will be coming back again, especially for the breaded mushrooms, the best I've tasted. read more

I'm really confused by the popularity of this restaurant. My father and I stopped by for lunch one afternoon. He had a pork tenderloin with breaded mushrooms and I had a cheeseburger with fries. It was obvious that the burgers were pre-cooked burgers, most likely purchased from a supplier such as Sysco, not fresh because they really had that artificial grilled flavor to them. In addition to that our fries and mushrooms were way over cooked. The fries had been cooked for so long, the insides were hollow, and the mushrooms were as hard as bullets. I should've complained but I'm not a confrontational person, instead, I just won't return. I will let my wallet do the talking. Also, the owners are weird. The female owner was taking a picture of a black lady when we were there. I'm not sure why, I guess she was a regular that the owners had not seen in some time and they were going to put the photo up on the wall of "regulars" Also, they're closed on both Sunday and Monday. What business can afford to be closed for two days? They need to hire someone to run it while they take their days off. read more

This is the most over-rated eatery I've ever been to. The food is obviously industrial frozen food that they throw into the fryer and call it "homestyle." I LOVE fried mushrooms. I ordered some and literally had five small overly cooked mushrooms. Five tiny mushrooms for an order! The second time I went (I always give a place two tries) was 20 minutes before closing time to get a burger. The staff were already closing everything down and would not make my order. Hey, I get it if I came in a couple minutes before closing time, but I came in almost a half hour before. That's inexcusable. I also find their owners odd as well as the hours they keep. Over priced. Over fried. Over hyped. If I wanted frozen fast food, I'd buy from the Schwan's guy and eat from the comfort of my home. Lastly, their place is in desperate need of updating. It's dingy and unappetizing. If I could give Zero Stars, I would. Two giant thumbs down! read more
