BEWARE .....do not let Kristy (Christina Rowland) do your hair. I paid $300 for highlights, roots, and a trim, plus a $60 tip. She messed up my hair so bad and caused my scalp to scab and hair to fall out. After my appointment, I noticed a noticeable dark stripe and uneven coloring along my front hairline, she told me I could remove it at home with make up remover. I tried removing it once I got home and realized it was permanent, so I contacted Kristy immediately and returned multiple times over the next two days for corrective services. She made 3 attempts in two days to correct the issue, she still couldn't fix it and my scalp became irritated from the repeated processing. By this point, I no longer felt comfortable allowing the same stylist to continue working on my hair. So I called the salon and requested a refund and a correction by a different stylist , explaining that I had already spent many hours returning for corrections and had lost confidence and trust in Kristy to do my hair. I asked the salon if another stylist could evaluate or correct the work but I was later informed that kristy is an independent contractor and that any resolution would need to be handled directly with her. They didn't offer any help, only wished me luck. I am posting photos so others can decide for themselves. My experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive, and I ultimately did not receive the result I paid for. Now I am taking legal action. Completely unprofessional when a person has to utilize ChatGPT to communicate with clients after getting paid for services that they could not deliver on. Pictures are below. I had a lot of ClassPass credits and not a lot of time to use them. I realized in the hustle of the holiday season. I really needed a relaxing massage. I found availability for the very next day. I don't think i've ever been able to book a massage on ClassPass- so I was very excited. This business is located at the very end of the strip mall.The sign is a little faint. It was kind of hard to read. I'm very pleased with the services that I received from Lisa. It was an incredible hour and she melted all my stress away. Was excited to finally get to use my gift card on a haircut and was happy that they had an available appointment. Was looking forward to treating myself at the salon. Was not told it was a "squeeze in" as the stylist called it. I was told that she didn't have time to blow dry my hair. She didn't even wash it. Even after I told her I was at the gym and didn't wash my hair. I told her I was not told they were "squeezing" me in...and the stylist Kaylee said she had a cancellation so "i lucked out". So not a squeeze in. I checked in at 2:15 and was done by 2:35. I was charged $55 for my haircut. First of all, I have never been anywhere where my hair wasn't washed first. Great clips washes my hair. But at this "salon" it was sprayed with water. Barely any hair was cut. I did ask to do a trim and clean the layers and frame the face. The hair on the floor was evident that not too much was done. At this point I just wanted to leave. No I didn't say anything. All I know is i completely wasted my gift card, and I will not be back here. It was a haircut worth what myself paid for after the card which was $5. read more

I actually liked the massage that I got here and the lady who did it was really nice and accommodating. But the person who did my facial was a whole other story. I've gotten over 100 facials in my life and I usually go on the strip at really expensive spas but I saw a really good price groupon so I decided to try out this place. She was so rough with my facial. Her first mistake is she put the steamer directly on my face and didn't even have the courtesy to give me the protective eye goggles until I asked her twice. It was like they sent a complete amateur to do my facial. The steam was burning my face and I told her that over and over again. She still continued to put the steam on the exact same place. It was the most uncomfortable experience of my life and I was in pain the whole time. Even when she was doing the extractions, she was being extremely rough. I guess she's not used to working on someone with as good skin as me and she felt she needed to dig even harder for something that wasn't there, but she did it to the point where I was bruising badly. I tried to think I was just being overly sensitive, but after two days, there is a whole big nasty bruise on my nose. I'm so upset that I might talk to a lawyer because seriously, that's not ok. Like if you don't know how to do your job correctly then don't do that job. I should not have had my bruise face like I was in a fight after getting a facial, which is supposed to be a relaxing experience. The only reason I'm not giving this zero stars or one star is because the massage was great, but that facial was horrifying and I do not recommend anybody ever getting a facial here!!!! They offered a Groupon with 3 services. Should have been the first red flag. Facial, massage and blowout. There is no waiting area for "spa" because there is no spa. It's a hair salon with suites. The transition from one service to another is non existent. Did their steam room and there was nothing to put your wet clothes in. The massage was really good and the therapist were all extremely nice . The hairdresser was a doll but can't do a blow out. Took her 15 mins.My hair was still wet. Not smooth and so disappointing. Had to come home and shower to redo. I have long thick wavy hair. There was no sectioning or taking her time to smooth out my wavy hair . I do not recommend. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen changes in company policy, it looks like Quin is no longer working here. I had a horrible experience with this business and I did not even step foot there. I booked a massage through Classpass a few days ago. I walk in for my appointment as I have scheduled, and they tell me that my appointment is at 1:45pm, not 1pm. They say that classpass glitched with their system; however speaking to another employee, they were not even supposed to schedule another appointment after 1pm since the massage therapist working can only work until 1pm. The lady with blonde hair that i spoke with was very rude and dismissive at even there being a glitch, and insisted that I reschedule my appointment. After reluctantly rescheduling my appointment, I stepped outside to see if I could reschedule my next appointment at 2:30pm. I walked back in in which was told to repeatedly wait by 3 different employees to speak with who i suppose is the owner/manager. During that time, someone else booked the appointment online which was within 30 minutes of the appointment. SO basically, I think their system and procedure is appalling since they 1. have a bad business practice if their employees are quitting without notice. 2. they do not adjust their schedule to fit actual business hours of the services they provide, 3. they promote a business of relaxation and peacefulness, in which i had all intention of being the same; however, it was opposite of my experience. I find this so unprofessional and so many businesses do this where they double book Classpass clients with actual clients and blame a "glitch" in their system in hopes to find people who just accept that as an acceptable response. Then DONT USE CLASSPASS if you as a business cannot ensure a seamless experience. Not only was it a waste of my time and money, but also, they are very dismissive of Classpass users. I did not feel welcomed as a person of color and frankly their employee diversity is nonexistent. I think they may have hired someone of color as their token diversity employee to say "oh we don't discriminate - see we are working with a colored individual". Bless her soul - hope that isn't the case but time will tell. All in all, what was supposed to be a relaxing day for me just turned out to be a stressful and wildly inconvenient day. Horrible! Was injured by the masseuse. When he was working on my lower back, I suddenly had a twinge & gave him a heads up that I think something he did had caused a spasm. He said he'd go gentle around it. When he had me roll over it was with great difficulty and I let him know the back spasm was making it difficult. When the massage was over, I could barely get off the table. I definitely couldn't bend down enough to get dressed. I cracked the door & got the masseuse to come back in, and while standing he rubbed my back another minute or 2, and it loosened up enough where I felt I could move. I gingerly got dressed & told the front desk who offered a half-hearted "oh no, sorry that happened" apology & said she'd note it in my file. No offer of an ice pack or suggestions or solutions to remedy the situation. I wasn't even sure if I'd be able to drive home. I asked if I could get like a 15 minute chair massage to try fix it, she said they don't offer chair massages. I saw on their menu a Targeted Biofreeze add on for $20 but when I asked she said she had no one available, that it has to ordered at the start of the session. Nor did she offer me any Biofreeze to take home to try. I asked about the hot sauna. She called her mom the owner and then told me it would be $25! Ridiculous. So I painfully drove home, and took at IB. Ruined my evening as I couldn't barely move after that. Sleep was uncomfortable. This morning, feels better but still tight, overall I feel worse than I did before my massage. Plus it made me angry how uncaring they were about injuring me. read more

I've been coming to this place for the past couple of months. Before then I had no idea it even existed but I'm glad to know it's here now. Every time I come I'm always greeted by a friendly front desk staff. I haven't been coming frequently enough to know all their names but I know I always see a smile and that's nice way to start my day. I've been coming here for my esthetician who has her own studio in this salon. It's so cute. She has literally saved my skin! I've only had 3 sessions so far but I can see an amazing difference in my face. My dark circles are a lot lighter, my little line & minor wrinkles are going away. Escape Salon is a full service salon and spa. I finally treated myself to a full body massage with Quinn. As a hairstylist my muscles get really tight in my shoulders and upper back. Quinn worked worked all of them. He communicated with me making sure i was ok after tensing up in tender areas. He didn't stop there he took care of my lower back, my glutes ( I've never had a massage therapist work those) all the way down to my toes. After he worked each area he applied hot towels that felt so good. Your probably saying " you said full body massage" I did. But I've never had one good as Quinn gave. 2 things Quinn is male. He was very respectful he asked before he did my glutes, Kept me covered unless he was working on an area. I only mention this because some females may not be comfortable with a male therapist. I have been going to the Escape Salon for over eight years and have never had any issue with any services. I always purchase a "series" of six massage and pay for them up-front. My review is that I had a massage last Saturday, July 13, 2024. The masseuse who did my massage was a very nice young woman but the problem is that she did not and could not administer a quality massage to me. I have been having massages for most of my life and have never experienced a non-massage like the one I had last Saturday. All she did was "pat" my body and it was the worse massage I have ever had. I decided to call Escape Salon today and spoke with "Jennifer" who said she is the manager. I told her that I was not happy at all with the massage and that I would appreciate her extending a credit to my account as this massage was the last of my series of six and not worth $0.50. She said "unfortunately I cannot do that." She could no give any credit for services rendered if the patron was not happy. They do not credit anyone for "services rendered" and she would not offer anything to me. Like I said I have been going to Escape Salon for many years and not I will not go there again!!!!! I am done with this salon and will tell anyone who asks me about how the management takes care of their customers if the customer has an issue. read more

Just got my eyebrows waxed here, and I literally wanted to cry as I walked out. First off they have you sit in a salon chair, not even a room specifically for waxing where you lay down so it is done correctly. Secondly they use what seems like little pieces of paper one at a time instead of one big one so it's even. One of my brows was twice as large in width than the other. The other eyebrow was missing so much hair. Don't ever come here to get your eyebrows waxed. Had to go and pay AGAIN to get them fixed somewhere else because they failed miserably.
