The technician contacted me each day with updates on when he would be coming to do work, and with updates about the job. When the job was completed, I wasn't home to do a test, so I did a test when I was able to, and found that one of the items wasn't the way I had wanted it. QCE came out right away and adjusted the wiring to do exactly what I asked for. A month later, one of the GFCI outlets failed for some reason (probably me). I contacted QCE, and they came out at their next opening to examine the circuit and replace the faulty plug right away. The technician sent out a colleague the next day to finish up the job and make sure everything was working exactly the way I wanted. I would definitely recommend QCE for any electrical jobs you might have. They are honest, trustworthy, won't surprise you with any hidden costs, will finish the job even if there is a delay for whatever reason, and will return if the job isn't exactly the way you want. After searching online, I found Nam Pham and contacted him about replacing the unit. We went back and forth regarding pricing and equipment options. He eventually recommended installing a 3.5-ton Goodman condenser because he claimed he was unable to find a compatible 3.0-ton condenser at the time. I curious to know is there any problem if my original condenser was 3.0 ton and the new one is 3.5 ton will there be any issue. He said nothing is wrong only give more air flow. On May 16, 2026, his brother, Thao Phan, installed a 3.5-ton Goodman condenser that was manufactured in 2022 and was approximately four years old (Serial Number: 2204346334, Model: GSX160421). The system appeared to work initially after installation. However, when I attempted to use it again the following day, it was blowing warm air instead of cooling. I immediately contacted him to report the issue. On May 17, 2026, he provided me an invoice that did not include the serial number or model number of the Goodman condenser. Although we had agreed on a 10-year parts warranty, the invoice only reflected a 5-year parts warranty. I later discovered that the installed unit was a used system that was approximately four years old. On May 19, 2026, he and his brother came and diagnosed. He immediately blamed my evaporator coil is not working and he will provide the parts for free and I pay for the installation. I immediately know something was wrong. June 6, 2026, I paid someone for second opinion, and they found out that he installed a 3.5-ton condenser that is oversized and incompatible with the existing evaporator coil and furnace. I showed him the diagnosis from a second opinion, but he refused to come out and inspect or correct the issue. Instead, he continued to insist that my evaporator coil had failed. As a result, my A/C is still not working, and I have spent thousands of dollars on a system that does not function properly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this contractor.
