This Esporta is located on the East side of Greenfield right near the US-60 East offramp. They have all the expected areas you expect at an Esporta/LA Fitness, the pool, basketball court, kids area, etc. Their green area with the sled and tires was about average. However, as you know from most of my reviews of gyms, my concern is about the number of squat racks. You really cannot substitute any exercise for free squats and they only have two racks. That is too few. Those will get taken quickly and when you have people who do more phone action then lifting then the racks are blocked for a long time. This place is fine if you go when it is not busy, but when busy, you could be waiting for quite some time for certain equipment. read more

Esporta Fitness Tucson, (Golf Links) had a great spin class by Mary 9:15 am on Monday 11/28/23. She was friendly, Assertive with class members on thinking of your self abilities. It was what I expect from all gyms. I am a visitor from Phoenix. I did not appreciate the five people who socialized, while the class was beginning. It's very unnecessary to interrupt while in session for the instructor and everyone else. I hope others will consider that in the future. read more

Very nice facility. This is a great gym! If you have an LA Fitness Membership, they will accept it since they are affiliated with that company. I found them on the LA Fitness App! I was looking for a spin class since I no longer belong to Spin Cycle, and the app leads me to this gym. I was confused at first, but then when I checked in. The nice girl said they are the same. I have taken several classes at this location. Cycle Class with Jenn (Who has a classic rock playlist) and Zumba Class with Tara (A mix of Reggaeton and Techno) . I'm going to take other classes here, and other locations and see if I can find a good instructor with the music to my liking. read more

We left LA Fitness due to the limited hours of operation. It is either closed or closes early on every holiday. And on the weekends it's only open 8am to 8pm. This is the main reason we left. $30 a month to hardly be able to come because of the hours of operation, is just not worth it. Ashley is one of the managers at Esporta. She always greet everyone with a smile and takes on members concerns with good resolutions. She prides herself in keeping a clean and functional health club which is a major task in itself. This place was great when it was LA fitness, but now that it has changed to "Esporta" it is just as bad as planet fitness. It's nothing but a cash cow and they don't care about anything but sales. They have about a dozen sales staff but there's never any staff members on the floor taking care of the place. It's a small facility and they're selling super cheap memberships and so the place is overcrowded with people who don't really care about fitness and don't practice good gym etiquette and the place becomes a disaster zone with no order and weights strewn all over the place and often the machines are all taken by a lot of people who are just sitting there on their cell phones not even using them. It's so bad that sometimes dumbells go missing because people take them and leave them in random places so you sometimes won't be able to find the weight you need. They also do not have enough clips for all their cables and I have had to start bringing my own otherwise my workout gets interrupted by me having to wait for someone to finish on another cable so I could take the clip from it. And today when I was working out there was absolutely no paper towels anywhere to be found on the ground floor. And worse yet, the mens lockers never get cleaned and are constantly full of disgusting things like mens pubic hairs that need to be cleaned up if I want to use one. To use this facility I am basically paying to have to do a bunch of cleaning and grunt work that ought to be done by staff members but isn't because they don't care. I end up spending so much time cleaning up after other people, and looking around for lost weights and equipment, and waiting for equipment to be freed up so that I can use it, and dealing with other such nonsense like looking for paper towels today that I can't even finish my workouts in time before they are kicking me out (and its impossible to tell when they are closing because they can't even be bothered to set their clocks right either). This place is absolutely terrible, its unprofessional and a disgrace to the fitness industry and the entire business world. There is 0 accountability here (even though the A in esporta is supposed to stand for accountability, its just an empty marketing slogan). None of the staff even care about fitness or the gym, all they care about is selling new memberships, and once you are a new member you are just a number. After being a member of LA fitness for a long time, one month of it being EsportA has caused me to go somewhere else, and I recommend you do the same. read more

This is based on CUSTOMER SERVICE over the phone on December 21, 2020 at 10:49 AM, 12:47 PM, and 1:35 PM with the male receptionist. I needed to cancel a group training monthly fee of $100/month before being billed again on 12/25/20. I had paid the November fee in hopes that COVID would settle down a bit and my son would be back in the gym. In October he was actively using his group training sessions twice a week, with the money in my opinion. Since COVID number are still high, I wanted to cancel his group training sessions. I first asked to speak to the operations manager, and the receptionist said I'd probably have to talk to Chad instead, so I left a message for Chad. I'm sure Chad was too busy to get back to me. I called back at 12:47 PM and the operations manager wasn't available until 1 pm. So I called again at 1:35 PM. With each call, after I asked for an operations manager, the receptionist sounded progressively irritated. On my final call, after I asked for the operations manager he said, "OH MY GOD!" Absolutely unnecessary. To me, $100 could be better spent than on training that my son isn't going to use. The Operations Manager, Sydney was very helpful though. I suppose if you want to keep your paying members, phone etiquette training might be beneficial when members are considering canceling membership because of COVID. read more

I had a membership renewal fee every year of 200$ exactly. Which averages out to 16$ a month which was perfect. I took a year off from renewing it because life happens. I had that rate locked in for the past few years with no issues. Came back this week to renew it again at the same price and they said it wasn't possible because I "took too much time off." I never cancelled my account? I just haven't renewed it? Lady at the desk was giving me a hard time saying it "wasnt possible." What a joke. Literally went across the street and signed up for EOS. Much better decision. 10$ a month and they have all the same equipment. Now im not surprised the LA Fitness on Stapley and University went out of business. Being greedy with your prices will do that to you. NO WAY im paying 40$ a month. If you guys reached out and contacted me i would definitely reconsider renewing at my original price. But no way would I EVER pay that much. Treat your customers better. Until then I'll be across the street at the better gym. read more

The ONE and ONLY person who can cancel your membership is frequently taking multi-hour lunches or just not showing up to work at all. Probably the worst managed national chain gym I've ever been a member of. Staff is rude and has constant turn over. Trainers have no clue what they are talking about. Thought an L4 vertebrae meant "left side". Gym experience: trainers leave equipment dirty and sweaty soaked with their clients for the next person, great example they set. And it goes downhill even more. My husband's locker lock was cut off and his wallet stolen. Staff in QT that share the parking lot said they hear lots of complaints about lockers getting broken into here. So basically people are just stuffing lock cutters into their gym bags and stealing stuff. Should be an easy catch with the log except that they frequently do not scan people in. So anyone can walk in off the streets and use the gym. And I'm paying for this? Corporate called. This gym went from a fantastic neighborhood gym when we joined 13 years ago to this. Unclean. I would NOT go here. The gym itself is great but the people signing you up are classic bait & switch. I went there for their 'free' pass and they immediately asked for my CC to initiate a $55 charge. (I should have left right then but thought I'd actually join). After cancelling after my 3 day 'free' trial, the charge is STILL on my CC a month later. So is a new recurring $25 charge. These guys must have been from LA Fitness or 24 HR Fitness cuz those guys were total scammers as well. read more

This Gym belongs to LA fitness, i've been going here for approximately 5 1/2 years since it transferred over to esports not maintained well. I personally let management know about missing 30 pound curling bar two years ago said it was on order!still missing. The free weights are never cleaned. This used to be a good gym . Not any more. I had my car key stolen from my locker. At the same time I was talking to the woman at the front desk , someone else had their lock cut off from their locker . We called the police. When myself, other customer and counter worker and officer were at the front counter , the woman at the front counter asked a person for his membership card as he came in. He told her to F**K Off , that he already showed it. I told the manager what happened and he did nothing. The impression I got is that he didn't want to deal with any more stress. Anyways , I found out that they had previous thefts , but never posted any warnings on their doors , which is what I would expect to see. The treadmills are not in good shape and need maintenance. On a positive note , the weights are pretty good and there is not usually a wait. The bathrooms are dirty . I have not gone back since. read more

I did not realize payments were being taken until 3 months later after I got a confirmation of cancelling my subscription on their website. The front desk workers are very unprofessional. They are often on their phones or throwing balls around to each other. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE PERSONAL TRAINING. It is a scam. They charged me several hundred dollars and then they shut down three days later. I never got to do a single personal training session and I moved out of state. They refused to reimburse me and their workers including Chad and Laura kept telling me I would get a refund when they knew all along that I never would. Horrible gym overall. read more

Great first experience! Met with one of the membership advisors named Nicholas and he gave us all the info we needed and even let us try it out because I needed a gym that's universal due to traveling purposes. I do appreciate not being pressured by Nick and felt even more comfortable getting to know the facility and teaching us about the amenities this gym offers. First impressions count to me and when someone is genuine in helping, it shows. I will be getting a membership thru him with my girlfriend. Great clean gym and nice staff! read more

I have been with LA fitness for almost 10 years and never had any issues. Ever since the Tampa Gunn Highway location switched too Esporta and new management came the customer service disappeared. I was discriminated against due to medical reasons and was forced to cancel my membership. Very disappointed. I intend to file a discrimination claim with the Human Rights office. read more
