I came to this LA Fitness expecting to use their advertised 3-day free trial, but the experience felt like false advertisement. The salesman sat us down, gave us a tour, and had us sign waivers. However, they held onto our IDs the entire time we worked out as a sales tactic to make sure we came back and they can try their sales tactic more. The worst part started when we finished and were in a hurry to leave for an appointment. The salesman sat us down again, and while we gave our honest opinions, his behavior was highly unprofessional and made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. He was extremely pushy and assumed from the very beginning that we walked in straight to sign up and that he already "had" us. He even tried to tell us, "don't waste your time trying out other gyms because it will never be the same as this one." He became visibly irritated and frustrated when we didn't take his deals. Even though we insisted multiple times especially in that moment that we were not signing today no matter what, he refused to take no for an answer. He dragged the pitch out for almost 30 minutes while still holding our IDs. If you are ever looking to try out a gym on a free trial, do not go to this location specifically. It is not a free trial at all, just a highly uncomfortable and aggressive sales trap. Now I cannot enjoy a free trial because we will not be returning to this specific location. read more

At this particular location.... Is it possible to have staff walk around and put equipment back when certain members refuse to do it for whatever reason? Instead we get swap market memorabilia auctions at the entrance that I can't believe corporate allows this. The entrance is cluttered with garage sale items and if I wanted the swap market I would go to a swap market. There are members that bring in cardboard boxes with them into the gym weight area one lady had what looked like tomatoes and or produce and others bring in boxes and a 12 pack of eggs into the weight area. Why is there a 12 pack of eggs sitting on the ground in the artificial turf area lmao This LA fitness is good if you want to bring in a bag or even multiple bags with you no matter the size and even your own equipment inside your large bags because the staff here doesn't walk around and enforce any rules. You also can bring in your own outside trainer or be an outside trainer here and have multiple clients and sit on the equipment your client isn't using. If you like to take equipment away from its designated area or assigned spot it's ok too you don't have to return it. You can leave medicine balls, slam balls, dumb bells anywhere you want. You will never see the front desk employees return anything back and occasionally you will see a cleaner put something back but that is very rare. At this location you can put aerobic step platforms anywhere you want and leave them there in the middle of the walk way.... It's definitely ok. You are also allowed to put the sanitary wipes the gym provides and stick them everywhere. Stuff them inside the cable areas every where it's ok here. Any recommendations to current management or what could be considered a complaint and or a report of some sort of violation of their rules probably will not get looked into unless it's someone video recording and they will say something about that which is good. You still have the same members doing the same thing manipulating many different stuff and leaving that stuff anywhere they want. read more

Had a terrible experience with one of the managers, Jasmine. Very unprofessional. I would just like to raise an incident that I had with one of your member services manager in your Temecula Parkway location. Yesterday, March 16, 2026, I checked in on that location to play basketball. While I was there, my 2 guests arrived. So I came out and met them. However on our way in, Jasmine refused entry for my guests stating that all of us should check in/arrive together. This has not been brought to my attention prior to yesterday. I am not aware if this is something that was recently strictly implemented. I have always brought guests this way (my friends live in different areas so it's hard for us to arrive at the same time). I explained this to her and begged if she can allow an exception this one time as my guests drove from Menifee just to be able to play. Disappointingly she sternly refused. I understand how there are rules, but I also know about having some consideration to your loyal customers. I have been a member since 2021. I have brought multiple guests who became members. I can give you names of those members. This is not how you treat your members. I was humiliated in front of my friends. One of the other managers, Rex, intervened and he said to just let them in this one time. But Jasmine said if he will do that, she will walk out. Is this how you manage conflict in your workplace as a manager, you walk out!?! It was handled so very poorly. It was truly disappointing. When I paused my membership years ago I've been begged and bugged to reactivate it being given so many perks just to keep my business, and this is how she treats me?!? This gym is fairly quiet which is nice . It's also clean. The downside is they don't ever get new equipment. The equipment they have is at least in working order but every gym in the area has a belt squat and hip thrust and has for several years! In spite of management telling me it's coming it has been like 2 years and still nothing. Perhaps the biggest issue is their lame hours ! Why are they not open opening until 8 on weekends ?!?? A lot of people get up early and get their workout before having to Get on with their day wether that be work or soccer games ! Because of these hours everyone is there on the weekend @8 and it ends up crowded ! Also on 4th of July which was a Friday ....... They didn't open until 8 am which is another day ppl get it done early and try to get out of town !! read more

Was injured here. Visibly bleeding and distraught. No members or staff even acknowledged me being hurt, let alone offering help. Emailed corporate and was very coldly told it was my fault. Previous to my injury I was frustrated with the lack of staff out in the gym area. Groups of teenagers hogging equipment, weights re-racked incorrectly or not at all. As other have mentioned I have seen the same similar issues. Never see employees walking around other than the cleaning crew. Shout out to all the cleaning crew! Ty for the hard work and tough job you do. Members need to get off their phones and understand they are sharing the gym with other members. Many duffel bags and large bags/backpacks brought in and into the gym floor. I have also see the lady mentioned in other reviews. She seems to do legs and take a lot of equipment to the free rack for squats and do various exercises on that one squat rack and hold it while she does other things. Black hat usually with a very large back pack type. I watched her take a heavy dumbbell to the squat machine and some other stuff and once she was done she just left all of it there. :( Not sure how the cleaners are supposed to clean when people leave equipment everywhere. 5 stars for the classes & facility! I love going to the Zumba classes here and it's probably the NUMBER ONE reason that I actually go to the gym for... I love to DANCE and every time I'm in ZUMBA class it feels like a PARTY in there so mentally you don't really feel like it's a workout and I love it... The people that work there are very friendly when they see you of course. Most of the time the staff are pretty CHILL... I used to shower there too but, that was before COVID happened so I don't really go to the lockers anymore but, most of the time it's pretty clean... I made some friends in ZUMBA class too just from seeing each other every time we are in class together... The instructors all have very different styles of dances and the music is very fun and diverse... This gym has a pool and basketball court as well... It's usually not BUSY at all in the mornings around 8am-11am... Very bad!!! Had to cancel membership because I felt cheated on the personal train program. I signed up 4 months personal training program and didn't know I have to cancel it after the program completed. The staff did not explain that at the time of signing. Common sense tells me 4 months program is 4 months, not continuous program. Don't why this company makes the tricky decision and their staff won't tell you. Brought up the concern, the staff treat me with very cold attitude, reluctant to help. I ended up being overcharged almost $1000. This is the gym next to 15 freeway. This gym is just getting ridicules I pay 85 a month and the day care and the hrs I can go the daycare is closed. I've heard a lot of people complain about this and nothing gets done. This gym WAS the best one in the area but at this point if nothing changes I might have to go somewhere else. I think the problem is they have high school students or recently graduated high school students in charge. You need to get some grown people or mature people to run the gym. They could not do it, I had to cancel the account and repay the sign up fee and start a new account. All I needed was to have the guest switched to her account. The gym fraudulently charged my card for my 16 year old daughter to have personal training...which she never received. I did not consent for my card to be charged for my minor child to have personal training, and my daughter was never aware she ever signed up for it, and did not attend even one single session. Pebbles at the Temecula ESPORTA location told me to come in with my daughter's driver's license and she would refund all charges, however I then received a call from Rex later that day stating my daughter's grandmother signed her up for personal training, so the charges are valid. The grandmother is not a legal guardian, and has no authorization to use my credit card. Furthermore, the grandmother told me she never signed anything or had any knowledge of personal training. Again, this was completely unbeknownst to any of us and my daughter never attended one personal training session. It is bizarre how this was handled, and how I was told two different things in the same day, including the fabrication of the consent of the grandmother. Pebbles doesn't have any logic or reasoning skills and talks in a condescending tone, with rude and abrupt interjections. If at all possible steer clear from her, at least until she removes the stick that is so deeply wedged. After going through this whole ordeal the last thing I needed was to be disrespected as if I did something wrong. However way you look at the situation, the charges are illegitimate and my daughter is a minor. If you want to have a positive gym experience free of complicated matters that won't be resolved, go to another gym. read more

Had a run in with the same patron twice and staff refuse to handle hostile communication. There is a patron that usually shows up in the morning and uses the squat rack for 4-5 variations of a different workout taking well past 20 minutes of allotted time, according to the rules the staff have stated. My first interaction with this patron, I came up to her to ask her if I can use the step up platforms which connect into the squat rack since at the time she was not using them. She said she had one more workout. I stood onto the other squad rack and waited. She complained that I was staring at her, and then proceeded by saying that she has three more sets. With that new information, I was very upset as she said she only had one more workout. Words were exchanged and I got up, walked away, continued on with a different workout and proceeded to tell the staff members upfront about my interaction with that patron. At that time, the staff members told me 20 minutes are allotted at each workout station/equipment. Today instead of communicating directly with the hostile patron I went and told a staff member upfront to communicate with this patron that the 20 minutes of allotted of time have been spent. He walked up there, asked her if she'll be done, she said that she needed five more minutes and so we waited. The staff member gave her a total of 25 minutes and after her time was up, we walked back to grab the platform extensions for the squad rack. She then proceeded to complain about the first interaction. This sparked words to be exchanged once again and yelling started, causing another staff member to come and tell us that we would be both kicked out. If the staff member the first time took the corrective measures and spoke with the patron about her alloted of time of 20 minutes we could have avoided this confrontation. Instead, what they want me to do is put myself in harms way and speak with the hostile patron about sharing the gym equipment. The best part of this entire conversation was the hostile patron said she was open to communication and then proceeded to say " I do not have time to speak to her. I want to continue working out. This is beneath me." But somehow the staff wants me to believe that she is open to communication. The staff seem to want to pick the easiest way out of situations. Instead of making corrections the first time when a patron makes a complaint. They don't keep any records and instead threaten both parties of being escorted out. Honestly regional management should get involved and I need to see where in the guidelines does it allow a patron who has had two incidents over the same situation be allowed to get away Scott free? Clearly in the photo below someone else possibly complained about the same patron as she fits the description and is doing the same activities described in this other yelp review. read more

I signed up for a new account, was never told about the yearly fee of $54 yet they proceeded to charge my account without my knowledge. As soon as I noticed it on my bank statement I called them and asked them to work with me on either a refund or a credit for the monthly payment. I was even ok with a childcare credit. I spoke to Rex who admitted it was his fault but told me I need to speak to the manager. I walked in on 3 different occasions only for the manager to never be available to help me. After the 3rd time coming in I am SOL. Beware if you are signing up with these crooks. They'll do anything to get a sale but nothing for you after that... you're just a number. I signed up for EŌS gym down the street. They are way nicer and better membership prices too. As a business owner myself, it's a crazy decision that ESPORTA is willing to loose both mine and my mothers memberships, and personal training (which I'm now getting from (EŌS) all over a $54 fee. Clean facilities. I haven't seen anything broken yet. Staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. The lady at the front in the early morning always has a smile on her face. I just would like to see more equipment, i.e. cables. However, I do like having access to the aerobics area. And, I wish other gym members said good morning or smiled but who knows, I do go early in the morning, dress oddly, and have been told I have RBF sometimes so maybe that's it. I'd say out of all the locations in Temecula this Esporta gym is probably the best. It has some of the cleanest showers out of all the locations (less wet clumps of hair in the shower) I feel like maybe because this seems to be the more recently built location, it is large and the employees are nice. Machines aren't broken or not working, they have those cool stations to fill your water bottle. I don't know what it is but sometimes I have to sign the waiver when I come in as a guest and sometimes I don't... if it's a waiver you'd think they'd more thorough about guests signing it... other than that I'd say this is the best one and I enjoy coming here. read more

My wife had a membership at the local "Crunch Fitness" gym, about a mile from our house. She wasn't able to go for a few weeks due to various circumstances and noticed that the autopay charge to our credit account had changed from "Crunch Fitness" to "Esporta"... So, she drove to the Crunch Gym a mile from our house to ask about the name change and discovered that it was now being converted into an office building, that all of the fitness equipment that had been there was now gone. The workers that were there tearing everything out told her that that particular Crunch Gym had been sold to LA Fitness, who we later discovered also ran "Esporta"... Of course, no effort was made to notify us that this had happened, they just kept happily charging our credit card every month. They DID make sure to keep doing that. So, we called our bank, had them reverse the charges, cancelled that credit card, and send us a replacement card with a new number. I can only wonder how many other members of Crunch Fitness that got the rug pulled out from under them when LA Fitness bought their gym and closed it down are aware of what happened and how much money is being charged to their credit cards without their consent..........?? And, now that I know who owns "Esporta" and how they treat their customers, I won't be doing business with them or any of their associates... read more

Throughout this gym needs more cleaning and maintenance more often. Sometimes no toilet paper on every toilets. Needs more sanitize wipes by machines. Starting coming here after the UFC gym moved up to Murrieta, and this place is very underwhelming in comparison. Very minimal equipment here, 2 squat racks and 1 oly platform. They also have 8 benches for flat, incline, seated press - which is good in theory - but consistently I only see 5 bars distributed amongst them. Bought a membership for me and my son online. When he went in to use it, they lied to him and told him his membership wasn't right so they signed him up for a new membership. Paid initiation, first month, fees, etc. for both. His membership was just fine to start. They just saw an opportunity to confuse him and sell more units. Predatory, and staff obviously doesn't care about customers. When I went in to question the "manager" and see if I could clean it up so I wouldn't be charged for 3 memberships, credit money I paid for original (which should have been just fine), and continue with 2 accounts as customers, I was told "my contract states that I must pay a $25 penalty if I cancel in the first 4 months." He said this with a straight face, blank stare, and did not care at all that they signed my son up for 2, or 3, or more memberships. They will always make it difficult for you to cancel, they will charge you even after you cancel, and they will take advantage of your family if they see the chance to do it. If I could give ZERO stars I would! I signed up for the personal training contract that is for 4 months. it is $240 per month which includes 4, 25 minute training sessions. Unfortunately, I got Covid, life happened and I was not able to do the 20 trainings during the 4 months. On the 5th month, they continued to charge me another $240. I day after my account was charged I went to their Temecula location and spoke with their Operations Manager Pebble Sanchez and General Manager Rex. I told them that I didn't want the 5th month or any additional Personal Training. I was then told by Pebbles that I only had till the end of that month to use all 20 training sessions. I then asked if I could continue to pay for an additional month of memebership so I could properly use the 20 training sessions I had remaining, to which she rudely replied no and told me I could "double stack" them. I told her I was not interested in "double stacking" and I just wanted an additional month to use them. In the end Pebbles told me I was a rude B*TCH and that I could not have a refund or additional time to use the sessions. I told her to cancel everything and that I would never come back to Esporta ever again. I never leave reviews on Yelp, but I felt it was important in this situation to warn potential new clients. The Personal Training is a complete rip off! Pebbles and Rex are completely unprofessional and have absolutely no Customer Service Skills! I called the next day to request the phone of Pebble's Direct Supervisor and Rex rudely told me that they don't give out the number of the VP so basically just deal with it and go F*ck myself! BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS GYM! PEBBLES IS THE DEVIL! I left in tears, No training sessions, and out $1000. read more

Generated a 1 star critique on Esporta Temecula Parkway's pro activeness on their "Maintenance" process a couple of months ago due to lack of actions on their gym preservations. That review is specific to the head of maintenance or whoever is in charge and does not reflect on its staff for such location. The Esporta staff actually is a 5-star on my book as they are extremely receptive to questions/concerns as I have witness and experience quite a few times during my visits and at times will go above and beyond their job descriptions just to satisfy their clients. Take it as a grain of salt that to be able to be a successful "Team", ALL has to play its role within and if one aspect of this coalition is broke (maintenance division) then the "Team" will eventually fail.
